So, this was posted 14 years ago? While listening again for the 50th time I began to try to imagine what the players were doing today, August 20, 2023. Are they still playing, are they old (I'm 84), are they parents listening to their kids learning to make music, etc. If our paths crossed I'd be happy to buy them all a cold beer.
Swing never dies, electro swing, nu Swing, nu jazz, its keep follow in rythm and hearts for generations. Thats Music! thx for upload, such a great classic.
This tune, played as it was played, reminded me of Hiromi Uyehara's group. Interesting, intriguing, and I'll bet we'll be hearing more music with similar underlying rhythms. I hope so.
It's still a great tune, great performance, and totally enjoyable. Dec.26, 2024.

Back again . . . because I don't get tired of hearing this band play this tune.
Einfach nur geil!
Everybody in the band gives their best effort playing a tune like this, they all stay totally focused.

I remember playing this in my band and I had fun because the change of tempos and groove and all that stuff is just fun to experiment
The more you play it the more you'll enjoy it and you'll find interesting things to do with it. One phrase suggests another.
