Life is funny, beter to find cool music than don't find it I was find this giys too, when diggin for ex kyus/quotsa bass man Nick and found STÖNER and BB Good day
of all the guys in Kyuss and all the folks involved in the 'Desert Rock' scene in general, Brant Bjork is the most consistent. The laid back yet hard rockin' groove of the music perfectly exemplifies the concept of 'desert rock'. I really like Dave Grohl and all he has done to give exposure to underground metal (Probot) and I really dig when he plays drums for any Josh Homme venture (QOTSA and TCV) But if I want to listen to some great rock, I'll skip the Foo Fighters and listen to Brant anytime.
von junzt Come on, forget about QOTSA and The Foo Fighters when it deals with Desert Rock or Stoner... it’s as if you were picking up Bullet for My Valentine to talk about Death Metal mate 🤦🏼♂️ ! Stoner = Fu Manchu. Fuzz = Stoner = Fu Manchu.
Yeah I get that. The 1997 album The colour and the shape is a pretty bad ass album of the Foo Fighters though. But yeah, nothing beats that heavier than heavy desert sound.
Don't get me wrong, Kyuss are a great great band but people who think Josh sold out when this is the kinda of stuff those that didn't "sell out" put out are jokers. Honestly, he (Brant) ain't a good guitarist, he ain't a great singer and he ain't a great lyricist. If selling out means realising you potential then fuck, Josh sold out, big time! Lol. Love Brand but this is a bit shit, sorry.
Your Dynamic Brant!!!! Love 💕 your music!!! This is Rickey Bjork from Muscle Shoals Alabama!!!!!! Rock on ny😢friend I’am 73 & still love to Rock!!!!! As Always Keep Rocking!!!!!
In my old Nissan truck I have a cd player. In that player is Brants first album Jalamanta which I bought sometime around 1999. I think it was released by Mans Ruin. I'm glad I held onto it, its still a great listen and not much music from the 90's has held up that well. I listen to "Too many chief's" a lot and try to understand the story behind it.
Just love what he does.. Seen him, met him, awesome! Last tour was cancelled due to bloody Covid, but ... He now is over this summer with Stöner.. Will be great! I know it..
I saw Stoner a couple months ago. Talked with Brant briefly after the show. What an awesome guy! Totally down to earth. They closed with Green Machine and Gardinia.
Sean Wheeler walked on stage! He and Zander Schloss were the warming up act for Mark Lanegan in either 2012 or 2015 and they tore the house down. Not always does the warm up act actually feel to the audience like they started the show properly, but people really dug them.
I have very recently doing all things stoner/psychedelia and happened on this video...loving Brant and his work. Then when looking closer...Bubba? And the only way I knew of him is his current work with 3rd Secret band. He's damn good. 🙏
Queens of the Stone age style 70s stoner inspired rock stuff. Kyuss was where it all started for me anyway, this dude and Josh from QOTSA were a part of that band
if u play the sam rythym pattern over and over about a thousand times in a song then the crowd eventually gets the idea and amidst the drug effects they get the idea eventually..it sounds good so mite as well pop a few qualudes
because josh put a bunch of cool musicians together, got them to write songs for him and then used those songs for desert sessions and qotsa's first album..
there are some but to the minimum, i wonder if this is an elaborate choice.. it does include the danger of riffs losing their taste after chewing to long on them
WTF? How in my 64 years on this earth have I not heard this guy? F*cking awesome!
fun fact: Brant Bjork played all the instruments on his first record "Jalamanta". (source: German Wikipedia)
I`m a 57 grandad from Argentina and Kyuss fan since Blues for the Red Sun...Shame on you, sir!!! (Nah, just kidding...Hahaha!..Fuerte abrazo!)
Add a 59 year old to the list. Good stuff!
Life is funny, beter to find cool music than don't find it

Good day
Same here brother. Just discovered him. Love it!

Your so right my friend 🤘
Feel the same way....
von junzt Come on, forget about QOTSA and The Foo Fighters when it deals with Desert Rock or Stoner... it’s as if you were picking up Bullet for My Valentine to talk about Death Metal mate 🤦🏼♂️ ! Stoner = Fu Manchu. Fuzz = Stoner = Fu Manchu.
@Angry Pent Hahaha, dont cut yourself on all that edge little man...
Yeah I get that. The 1997 album The colour and the shape is a pretty bad ass album of the Foo Fighters though.
But yeah, nothing beats that heavier than heavy desert sound.
Brant bjork and john garcia are proof integrity exists in music
Lmao
garcia is the best vox ever!i fuckin love kyuss!1111

The riff for Low Desert Punk is one of the best ever... so coool!
Totally got an early Lemmy drone ala "Keep Us on the Road."
@@frdh1357 indeed!!
Pretty sure this started out as A#1 from Desert Session, one of the best tracks to come out of that series of albums and we’ll worth checking out.
The best thing in the world is to play it on the guitar... Low desert punk 🤘🏻🎸🔥🔥
@@frdh1357 abd allmighty Jimmy too!1111

These guys bought all the headbands in 90 mile radius before this show.
they also bought all the drugs they couldget their hands on
There's only 2 headbands on stage
Wrf are you talking about?
Esses caras são as lendas pioneiros do Stoner Rock ele e o Bill Steer são os gênios da guitarra 🎸
Fantastic performance by drummer
Far out this shit gets infectious if stay with it for a while.
I'm glad I stayed & enjoyed the ride !
Get your groove fuzz on! This guy never disappoints

Holy cannon barrel the final track "Lazy Bones" kicks me into higher dimensions.
Makes me drinking one more can of beer and one more Vodka. 🤗🙏🍺🎶🎸
This is the best current demo of the Pedal Baby 100, very nice.
Que buena bandaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Brant es el mejor!!!!
Sean Wheeler walked on stage! He and Zander Schloss were the warming up act for Mark Lanegan in either 2012 or 2015 and they tore the house down. Not always does the warm up act actually feel to the audience like they started the show properly, but people really dug them.

Chong's rockin' out!
HinjuRock I was just about to say that!
Good call. Ha
I know I'm l8 but 12/10 performance. Cannot wait to see Stoner live in Eindhoven!!!
A Desert Rock King or shall you say the King of Desert Rock! 💯
I doubt Brant enjoys being called a king and that's what I love about him.
A veces no necesitas LSD para viajar... Thanks for this trip!!!
Glad I met him once and saw him live, awesome trippy Dude 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Awesome really awesome, but distracted by wanting that snare drum wish I could tune like that.

Amazing discovery I just made 👌🏼
Such a tight band.
LOVE Brant.
Be well ma brutha man.
Wow, these guys Rock,New Stuff, I am happy
Brant's like the Jerry of the stoner scene at this point i think
brant is gold he's playing lead with a danaelectro
It’s rhythm guitar btw, but yeah he does play some licks
I wondered what he was playing, it reminds me of my Silvertone.
That "Too Many Chiefs" was incredible..
Sweet tone
Where in the hell …. did this guy come from? Awesome band.
🎉😂🎉😂🎉🎉🎉🎉😂🎉🎉🎉
Nice rock n roll 👍🏼🤘🏼👊🏼🇧🇷💀
Brant always delivers!!
I can only hope one day I look that bad ass
Bubba Dupree's riffs are making the difference
Yeah, he really spices this up.
I have very recently doing all things stoner/psychedelia and happened on this video...loving Brant and his work. Then when looking closer...Bubba? And the only way I knew of him is his current work with 3rd Secret band. He's damn good. 🙏
Just adding to a reply you made about Bubba Dupree...check out his recent work with the 3rd Secret super group...other really cool guys in that band.
WDR Rockpalast why did you deleted the other video of this same concert,it had a much better sound?
Lead singer plays guitar like a drummer.
He's a former drummer
@Mark Wright not anymore he does not play drums with the low desert punk band et he did not play with the Bros
Mans greatest inventions .....pocketknife ,,guitar, electricity, head band..music...
it sounds like an old stoned lenny kravitz tuned 3 steps down (FIRST SONGS).... really cool, even that live jam approach.
Il est très bon ce mec !
Sean Wheeler is a f.cking beast !!!
killer...pure rock'nroll !!!
Thank you
This guy is a HIPPIE for all time I am a HIPPIE too!!!!
@DabberDan
Piss off, idiot Trumptard - what the hell are you even doing on this video? Fox News is calling.

Freaks & Wizards unite!
Thanks!!! 🙏
When did Jimmy DiResta start rocking?
Tight! So good!
First song I was waiting for the lyrics for train kept a rollin 😁🚂🚂🚂. Chop chop ! Got that wrong
The difference between this and jam bands is this doesn't make me wanna blow my head off
cool AF
Schade, dass aktuell keine Konzerte von Brant in D geplant sind.
This Year......Herzberg Festival Germany
What is Desert Rock? This just pop up in my recommendations. It is GREAT!
Queens of the Stone age style 70s stoner inspired rock stuff. Kyuss was where it all started for me anyway, this dude and Josh from QOTSA were a part of that band
Mick Cripzzz the sound is badass, so energetic!
Guys definitely had the mojo goin that nite!
Dave grohl lo dijo en 1992...el futuro del rock esta en palm desert se referia a kyuss
GREAT!
if u play the sam rythym pattern over and over about a thousand times in a song then the crowd eventually gets the idea and amidst the drug effects they get the idea eventually..it sounds good so mite as well pop a few qualudes
🔥🌵🏜🌵🔥BRANT THE DESERT KING!!
Brant Bjork, the real Fred Chichin of Hard Rock.
Why does the first song remind me of A#1 desert sessions
well cuz' brant played guitar on that song
because josh put a bunch of cool musicians together, got them to write songs for him and then used those songs for desert sessions and qotsa's first album..
Got the Tommy Chong look going👍👍
Agreed!
Ni idea de este músico! Buena sorpresa ! Me gusto
does that mean he hasnt showered in 3 months?
So good 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
GOOD STUFF MAN
All those camara switching Even in 2019 they don't understand a concert is not a video clip Pffff
Do his songs ever have any key changes?
No, they are all in Em, they sound the same too
"Songs" is a big word for this stuff
Thank you
there are some but to the minimum, i wonder if this is an elaborate choice.. it does include the danger of riffs losing their taste after chewing to long on them
Im glad there is someone here that has some sense.
"Wanna smoke some labrador man??
