    I’m confused as I have been diagnosed (5x3x3 ) mm t4 nodule and had to follow up with biopsy but the pathologist doesn’t want to do it as it is small. I found someone who will do it but I don’t know if I should .

    In sub acute thioriditis nodules don't uptake much iodine during scan,because in viral thioriditis not new hormone are producing ,it just a leakeage of hormones ,what you suggest

    😢About a month ago, i ended up getting strept throat, so the doctor wanted me to get 3 Thyroid blood tests & Ultra sound. The blood tests came back normal, but the ultra sound came back with 3 nodules that they found: Right Thyroid 1.7 Solid heterogeneously hypoechoic T4 nodule, Right thyroid 1.2 solid cm solid isoechTR3 nodule.
    Left thyroid 0.5 cm solid hypoechoic T4 nodule. Thyroid echotexture is within normal limits. Normal doppler blood flow is present. There is no lymphadenopathy.
    My FNA is scheduled for December 8, 2023.
    I'm so scared to get this procedure done. How bad does it hurt? I know they will be using local anesthetic, etc.. Also i'm scared of it being malignant. Please advise..

    Which investigation differentiates between follicular adenoma and follicular carcinoma?
    And also which type of biopsy we do for diagnosis of type of thyroid carcinoma?

    Dr sb hope u fine. We are regular listeners of your wonderful videos covering almost all topics with latest research. Great Dr sb. This time my question is related to thyroid please:
    My daughter age 21, she is perfectly okay , Alhadmulillah, but her wright is not increasing or decreasing almost stable. We got checked her routine blood tests CBC, LFT, RFT, TSH and FT4. All test are normal except TSH which is slightly less 0.39 instead of 0.4. what is your kind opinion about this value of TSH (0.39). Is it significant or other wise and what is your advice. Regards. Dr Muhammad Zareef, Ph D

    • @MedNerdDrWaqasFazal
      @MedNerdDrWaqasFazal  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dr. M Zareef, if Patient is asymptomatic, then this is nothing to be concerned about. It's a very minor difference which is insignificant.
