Awesome video. Was thinking either copping these or the JT1 but hearing that these are bad for shin splints and sprainers is a deal breaker. Literally had 3 injuries this season, one rolled ankle, a shin splint, and a sprained ankle. Can’t wait for the JT1 review when u get it
bro let me put u on game… work on those tib raises and stretch after every workout (regardless of what day it is). i went from tweaking or spraining my ankle every other hoop session to not having a single injury in the last 4 months. this is after coming off of a grade 3 sprain too. although braces help as well
Zach we need the bounce test with the ball for the WOW 10's! I'm curious how much of the alleged bounce in those comes from the cushion as opposed to the carbon fiber shank!
It’s weird that it performed so differently for us. The traction and containment for me was really amazing. Dust couldn’t even mess it up for me. Good to see different perspectives though 🙌🏻

Dissapointed with the Midsole. Its the same as the Luka 1....Nike is trying to profit from the name of big players while being too greedy to put a 2 dollar zoom unit in the heel and maybe a turbo in the front. Thats NOT a over 100 bucks shoe.

I think the traction will be good on other colorways it’s a known thing with Nike that black outsoles jus don’t grip the court as well as other colored outsoles
Based on this, if I can get them for retail, I may pick up a pair for outdoor use. Otherwise, not touching these unless I hear a few reviews that really liked the traction. Awesome review as always!
Idk if it’s just me, but mine feel heavy asf. Compared to other shoes I have, they’re a lot heavier and weigh me down. Not good for shooting on the court, off the court maybe 😭
Haha there’s scheduled times at our gym for everything - no one is getting stepped on- and at least where I live there are dedicated pickle courts- no one uses the tennis courts for it

The midsole part looks like the kyrie flytrap 6 i think, the air zoom and the shank plate. I can feel it on my flytrap 6, it takes time to brake it in.

Nice review. But i just dont get why these are bad for sprainers, while the Sabrina 1s and the WOW All City 11s shall be good for sprainers? I would guess that Ja wants and needs good support und a more stiff outsole due to his playing style. Almost every review says that the Sabrina 1s are more soft and bendy than the JA 1s... Can anybody explain?
@@alexandruoceanu4072 well i bought them and I have to say that they perform very well. I sprained my ankles a lot in the past but these shoes feel extremely stable. I had no issues and never felt insecure. So i would definitely recommend these to sprainers.
With the teardown you can see that the zoom unit is the same size as the Flytrap 5 or 6...but maybe more density/psi. Also you get a better foal midsole than the $95 Flytraps but the flytraps are minimal when it comes to impact protection..

This is a fantastic shoe…one of my favourites in the last 10 years..love the reinforced leather and the mesh material is amazing…way better than flyknit or others…the one knock is the grip, its not good. If they had the grip of the cuts 2, then i could honestly say it would be my favourite shoe ever. I also love that it is not narrow like the cuts 2…that drives me and other players nuts how nike makes some shoes very narrow in the forefoot
I think these are good for small people like me and I like how they look. My ball shoes are still good so I just hope his line will last until I can get them because, you know, he just got arrested. 🤦
many companies when they release the first shoe for anyone it seems like they all release a shoe that is missing or lacking alot of stuff with the idea that the second and third shoes will be better. like they knew no expects everything in a first shoe cause the shoes down the line will be better.

slip slidin' away is not how I like to play hoops on the wood floors....maybe it was the surface or maybe there was some sheen on the new shoes bit that didn't help me on buying these shoes like your spot on review of the PG6's....those are great on all surfaces for traction and support

Each shoe can vary a little but sometimes you just need a while to break in the rubber, so that it grips well. Some shoes take longer

Will I cop the Jah, Nah. Mostly play indoors only and if it only grips outdoors and the shock absorption is mediocre, can’t do it.
