Also it was great meeting you at the Mondo line at Powercon (was right behind you). Thanks so much for not giving away that Keldor to that person trying to skip the line. I ended up getting the very last one when we FINALLY got to the booth. You truly are a Toy Bro.
I just bought one today online the filmation version I already had the regular one everyone else online wanted like $500 but I found one for under three so I figured I'd jump on the deal. Now I just got to get the filmation trapjaw I have the other two.
Great review! The thing I found frustrating about this line, is how difficult it has been to purchase special edition version. The regular release is missing some important and iconic accessories. I really get tired of the collector game, particularly with a company working at this price point. It just seems rather disrespectful to those of us that have supported their products since inception.
He looks good in Filmation style. Do wish they'd included a three fingered mechanical hand for his laser gun though. Imp looks fantastic, but why make him a statue? Especially if his eyes are going to be perpetually looking up. The SDCC one could at least move his arms. But overall they're beautiful. May go see if I can find a blast effect to put in his cannon when I display the duo.
Mer-man is incredible🔥👍🏼 I'd Really like to see release for Whiplash🔥 or Clawful🔥 imagine the detail of those animalistic warriors receiving the same mondo treatment. An 1/6 SCALE Fisto would be great. aswel.
I tried so hard to get him apart at the waist I was worried he was going to break! Ultimately not a hug deal, I'd never display him that way, good to know it can be done though!
What an incredible misconstruction! You can't put hard plastic where the joints are supposed to move, can you? Mondo is and remains an interplay of success and failure, only when it comes to painting are they always top notch!
So the standard version is for peasants? I'm glad his waist doesn't fly off so easily. Boo on the un-wired cape. For a $230 figure, you would think that's obvious to include.

IMO, there is absolutely no excuse for lack of articulation at this scale. They have all the space in the world to accomplish it.

Ours pops apart at the waist but we didn't try to pry his thigh armor off but we thought the same thing. We wanted to see him in his furry underwear.

I want to like these so much but I think Duncan is the only one that looks good. This fella is oddly stumpy.
