Beeswax is an old trick to thread lock small screws on fine instruments such as microscopes. If you use Loctite on something that small you'll never get the screw to move again, or damage it doing so. Doesn't need plumber's thread neither. Heat the screw to melt wax on and shake excess off.
@@ratrabbitandpestsniper1826 it's an old dodge and only works with beeswax not a paraffin wax candle. Beeswax can be softened like putty by the warmth of your fingers but easiest to hold the screw in forceps (tweezers) and gently heat with a lighter and then wipe beeswax on; do let it cool. We would also use Canada Balsam, which is used on microscope slides (&h found nearby), but that sets solid, and would curse if someone had locked a lens up with that. I use beeswax repairing and servicing camera lenses, the tiny screws have to stay put but have to come out again.
Loving this instructional vid mate, got the .22 coming tomorrow and this will help me a lot if I experience any of the same issues. Thank you. I'm in the UK as well, could you post a link or PM me the details of the scope rail you bought off ebay if possible please? Also the whisper quiet suppressor you bought, could you let me know which on it is please as there are so many?
@steven payton Hi,it's been a while but I think I wore a pair of washing up gloves and it came off,remember to hold the shroud with the other hand,failing that you could use the gloves as padding and try grips,the new adapter from best fittings has flat spots for a spanner,
What height do you have between the magazine and added picatinny rail? I have a rail on order from ebay but want to buy a carm magazine. The mid capacity 10 shot magazine is 8mm higher than standard would this still fit under it? Ill buy standard 6 shot if not but would like higher capacity if possible.
Thanks for the vid. Will likely adopt most of what you advise for my new gun. Any suggestions on ideal strap and fittings for this bit of kit? I've run out of rail because of my ridiculous sized scope (I'm new to air guns)
@Dan arm hi,,I had big scope I could have used but opted for this Nikko Stirling 4x32 A/O half mildot reticle, funny I'm just trying to come up with a decent sling option,I'll let you know what I end up with,I'm leaning towards a single point sling attached at the rear
@Lewis Lister Honestly I really should do a follow up video to this,had it a while now and last week I did get a leak from the fill port,,I'm inexperienced at the internals of airguns but had a go and fixed it in five minutes, easy,I found out why it's so consistent and accurate,,it is regulated,,highly recommend the gun, lost count how many squirrels and rats I've shot with it,check out eBay seller bob_patt He does some great printed add ons which I'm looking into myself,
Q Magic the bipod is off eBay,, copy of an Atlas I think, ,and all I did was get a short piece of weaver(piccatiny) rail,drill and countersunk a hole to line up with the action screw and fitted it on,
@Jure Novak the moderator is a standard weihrauch airgun one,,the adapter which is needed to go on the end of the gun was from a company called,, BEST FITTINGS, it replaced the existing end cap,
@Diya Khan's Vlog I'm using a Nikko sterling mountmaster 4x32 PX A/O with half mildot reticle,,,really good size scope for the gun,,fixed 4x zoom but the objective adjustment gives a clear picture at variable ranges,,
Hey bud did you use the same screw for your bipod or a longer one because I just got the same setup as you and can you show how you did it please I would like to see it done
@about the metal, it is a shame,I am surprised of is accuracy, great close range pest gun out to 20y no problem, I shot a rat in the eye at 15y today and lights out easy peasy,great gun for farmyard and garden,I have my R10 & HW100 for long range stuff

@Jeff Slade thanks for input,,my trigger screw hasn't shifted since certain I did the video using wax and cotton,,agreed the wax is the best option,,,

Hi,the mod adapter was from @bestfittings, £20,,the reach back one piece mount was from @antsupplies
Hi, nice setup...was wondering if you use hand pump to fill it: if so, how many pumps does it need to get it from 100 to 200 bar? Thanks
Great video how did you undo the nut to fit the silencer adapter as mine won't move at all thanks
@steven payton

Hi, where did you get the moderator from?
@Jure Novak the moderator is a standard weihrauch airgun one,,the adapter which is needed to go on the end of the gun was from a company called,, BEST FITTINGS, it replaced the existing end cap,
Thanks😊
Which scope is best for pp750.?
@Diya Khan's Vlog

@Xia Vue yes I countersunk the hole in the rail enough to use the same screw,
Which scope did you fit.
@Colin Goddard the scope I fitted is a nikko Stirling 4x32 half mildot AO,great scope and ideal size for the gun
Hi, how many shots per fill and is it worth getting for ratting upto 20 yards
@Lee Norris
I get around 40 shots(consistent because it's regulated)and yes is great for ratting out to 20y,
where did you get the silencer adapter?
@Felipe Marinho I got the adapter from BEST FITTINGS,,,,,
If they'd incorporate a M lok handguard that had a picatiny rail
It would solve some problems
@Gary Hill yes it sure would,it's more carbine than pistol and you would think they'd realise you might want to add toys,,
What size moderator & thread fits the barrel?
It's an adaptor which replaces the existing end cap,,giving half inch unf for mod
@@ratrabbitandpestsniper1826 OK again, what size is it?
I've no idea what size it is,,I just ordered a pp750 moderator adapter and that's what they sent,
