Man this takes me back wow. I played it while visiting someone in Australia when I was 6. Literally like the first video game I ever played. Amazing to see it again bringing back nostalgic feels.
I had Jazz when I was very young, like 4, 20+ years ago. It would make our shitty family computer shut down occasionally. We also had this disc with a few demos on it I think. I've been trying to figure out a game for a long time. It sort of resembled doom but more bare bones. You'd walk through a maze and shoot these floating skulls and collect raw meat to regain health
@@Squakenet OK so I mentioned the game to my mother who somehow remembered the name. It was called Ken's Labyrinth. I remembered it differently than it actually looks but its the right game. The floating heads looks more like a blue demon than a skull, and there was these r2d2 looking fuckers too.. I'm completely shocked she remembered the name of this 23+ year old game 🤣
I can't believe i've found THIS and Bug!, games I used to play when I was 5 or so... Amazing! Edit: Didn't realize it was a Sonic inspired game until now!
This game looks like a Sonic hack with added gun play. How the hell is speed encouraged if as soon as you start zooming you bump into an enemy and take damage?
IKR? Squakenet isn't very good at this game. But oh well, I watched it for the nostalgia and to compare it with JJR2, which was the only one I played. So it's fine. Gotta say I love the music. It is quite similar in both, perhaps the same even.
Omg this. My childhood, i remember this. Wtf.
This game was created down the street from my home.. In Cary, NC. back in 1994. What a classic and future gem this turned out to be!
Uh, it's always nice to know you were very near who developed such a classic game!

This game was unbelievably ahead of its time
Omg I remember playing this when I was 8!!!! I’m 33 now. Holy shit. 😂
You think you've got problems? I remember playing this in Dec 1994 at the age of 24. I turn 49 next month.
@@paulanderson79 Pfft. That's not bad, my hubby will be 41 this year. Stay forever young!
@@SunBunz I'm trying :D. best wishes to you and yours
@@paulanderson79 You as well! ^_^
tks
I'm old.
My first PC game when I was a kid. The seller said, it's like Sonic. I couldn't await to play it 😄
Yeah, probably it was the Dos version of Sega Sonic... good analogy.
Some of the instruments sound really distorted here
my childhood
My annoying neighbor had this. The perks of being an only child...
I fucking played the fuck out of this when I was a kid one of my first video games

I guess it was not Doom. Cannot recall any FPS like that... In that period there was Heretic, Hexen, Blood, Quake ...

@@ext93 it's the first time ever I hear about a mother knowing a game's title. Kudos to your mom!!
