Wow another terrific video. I bet the neighbours were thrilled to see that place cleaned up. I am fortunate I live in a city whose motto is 'The City of Gardens' and they are not joking. The city allows you to plant flowers around the boulevard trees OR you can plant vegetables on the boulevard as long as you look after it. A fellow near where i live has planted vegetables like potatoes, pumpkins, squash, beans, tomatoes and what have you on his boulevard. People just come along and pick what they want or need. To the best of my knowledge no one has ever vandalized the garden and it has been at least ten years. Other people bag their extra apples, potatoes, cabbage etc and hang the bags from their picket fence and people just help themselves.
I honestly dont know how people can leave there edges like that for sooo long.. i hate to see the amount of water going along there thru a good storm with the edges before they was done.
I was thinking the same thing. I wondered if anyone else saw that. It was like that in my block. I am a edging fool. If it doesn't look right with the edgier. I get out the spade and dig a better edge around the walkways and driveway. Had 1 neighbor told me to keep going till I get pass his place. He was serious too

My baby brother had a landscaping business & this looks familiar now I have his tools for my husband to use on our yard when we get our house also he did shrubberies & plants & redesigning yards & the whole 9 yards as he was truly gifted. Good job guy

You sir are a true artist when it comes to creating a really great looking lawn and I have nothing but love and respect for your work ethic. I wish I lived close to were you call home because I would most definitely hire you to take care of our lawn and in my humble opinion whatever they paid you wasn't enough because it was like you were caring for your own lawn with all the time and effort you put into making that look as good as it did and that's something money can't hardly buy anymore, someone who take pride in their work and does others as they themselves would like to be done. Just stumbled upon your channel, at 70 years old I love my yard to look nice. Some homeowners don't have the drive or maybe fiscally unable or financially to keep thier yard looking good. But my husband and I do our own yard work. He is 75. You bring life back to these yards. I just wish I could see some of them after the flower beds were weeded and mulched. Your work is amazing.

One good thing is your services are always going to be needed. People as they get older or real estate people or just anyone too busy to tend to it need help. Awesome job and it is tedious but goes fast when you know what you are doing. Bravooooooo looks great and I too have never seen grass grow into the street off the cub as that. When I lived in city , I used to do my entire street edging curbs and everyone’s house all way down, actually got into it with a neighbor who got pissed I was picking up trash and debris, police were called and cop told him he was out of control , he should appreciate the act of kindness and ordered him to goi in and leave me alone

Very pretty street of older homes. What a transformation!! You know, if they would fix those front steps, that would be a very pretty house. I'll bet the neighbors were doing a ''happy dance".
I paid for college by mowing lawns. When edging overgrown sidewalks and curbs, I would run the mower on the edge first. That reduces the amount of material the edger has to plow through, and it blows the material onto the lawn, leaving less to shovel (in your case) into the pickup.
My sister and I live on opposite sides of the country. Yesterday we were phone chatting and she mentioned she watches lawn care videos to relax. We compared notes and were surprised and delighted to realize, independently of each other. we both watch your channel! Great minds think alike.
I feel your way of removing weeds and dirt with the shovel is the best. Other use the weed eater and spray dust for miles plus it takes forever. Keep using your shovel. It does the best job.

You would've been a good lawn keeper in Eden with Adam and Eve Top Notch, taking care of their lawn I imagined, you do a fantastic work on those lawns that clearly can see the difference, a total renovation.
Beautiful edges, talented with that edger. one of my pet peeves is clumps of weeds/grass growing out of concrete islands on highways and people who let their grass grow onto curbs! Even when I was a renter I always kept my curb clean!
