- In a podcast interview with ANI, External Affairs Minister gets candid on his family background and how his father was removed by then Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. He said, 1980 when Indira Gandhi was reelected, my father was the first secretary she had removed. My father was the most very knowledgeable person everybody would say on defence. He was also a very upright person.

I much admire Mr Jaishankar but my comment is about something else. I notice all IndianTV news screens , have a lot of flashing words and keep moving at a fast pace. I feel giddy just looking at it and I have a niece who will not watch any news screen because she is epilepsy prone and these fast flashing moving words, on top of screen, in thd bottom, on tbe middle , trigger her spilepsy. Our politicians must be educated, experienced and with character. Dynastic look out definitely produces ducks, mostly. We are a democracy. Any one is equally allowed to stand for from ward member to MP & even for country President. We don't want ducks for sure, nor goons or idiots. Indian people must vote proper politicians so that proper ministers would be appointed. Bureaucrats, established and accomplished CFOs, CEOs, HR heads, presidents and chairman of corporations, etc from government & private sectors must be pulled into leadership track of political parties having democratic ideologies TO LEAD INDIA. Hopefully India will abandon dynastic, clan, caste and religious selections and look for national needs.
Extreme and narrowed thought could be: let above stated people be above 50 years above and who are after family life and into Vanapratha life, definitely Sanyasins. Late family connected would also be fine. But fresh 25youth as Mla, Mp. even Ward member would do damage to our democracy systems. I assume he studied MBA and Political Science at 25 and despite I say he is not fit to be a ward member. If there such, really, let there be an exception LET HIM BECOME ward member now. India lacks skilled political leadership.

I don't like Congress.. and if I took interview of Rahul Gandhi or Sashi Tharoor then i would also talk with them politely with smile on my face even though they are not in power now. That's the natural behaviour of human beings and Jaishankar is the PRESENT External Minister of India so any interviewer would take interview politely and they must be having fear as well . Even if you don't like ministers of a certain party or a party ideology then also you have to give respect to them as they are legitimately elected ministers of our democratic country which you cannot deny.
