Hello, Dear Friend. Thank you so much for sharing your Great work with us. The plants actually seem to be growing stronger and thicker than before. I hope they survive the winter. Thanks always for your suggestions. Have a blessed new week 👍🙏🙋♂️☺️🌱🌹💚💯✨
Thank you Scott. I appreciate you noticing that my friend 🙂 I thought they were thicker as well but because I practically ignored them for 4 weeks, I didn't want to say for sure. Have a blessed week as well 💕🙏
Thank you Ganggang for all your help and putting me in touch with Raw London Gardener. Btw, I did find out that the #survivalseeds2025 is running over in the UK as well, so you can sign up my friend. That would be awesome to have you come onboard in the collaboration 🙂They even have a UK coordinator 👍so spread the word.
@@GanggangPeanut You head over to my #survivalseeds2025 videos and go check out the how to video in the description box. Watch their video about what to do and create your short video 🙂If you have any questions just come on back here and ask away.
Ive always had good luck with bringing my pepper plants inside at the end of the season. I just plop them in the south windows and have fresh peppers thru the winter.
I recall you saying that but these guys are getting kicked out of the south facing windows in Feb to make room for seed trays. I even considered leaving 1 and cutting the other as I have two of each but space in this tiny home is at a premium, lol.......Thanks so much for sharing what you do sistah ❤Btw.......I forgot to ask you if you would like to join a bunch of us going into the #survivalseeds2025 challenge? It would be great to all be growing the same seeds and sharing our different experiences. Hope you consider it cuz I'd sure love to have you join my friend 🥰
Thank you Juan ❤You and I have very different growing climates and I wouldn't have thought that you would need to over winter yours. Did I do an okay job giving them a trim or would you have done something different?
Krista, not only do I applaud your knowledge but I find you so calming and I’m so looking forward to seeing how everything goes with your seeds, well done again on reaching 500 subs truly deserved ❤ xx
Hi Krista. I never realized you could do this with pepper plants. How cool! We will have to experiment. We did a lot of gardening here but not in a couple years. I really miss it. Soaking it all in my friend! 😊❤✌️🇨🇦
Hi Loretta. You surely can overwinter them. They should live if I remember to give them a small drink ever couple of weeks 🙂❤Stay safe and warm my friends.
Same here. I sure hope they pull through as that would be great to go into next growing season with a mature plant. It will give me a 2 month advantage and lots of peppers is the plan 🙂
If they can make it until spring you should have some nice bushy pepper plants. Typically I push my finger into the soil about an inch down and if I feel moisture I just leave it alone. Depending on how cold and how much the heat is on you may need to add a bit more water. Glad I was able to remind you about your pepper plants. 😁 Plants are looking good. Less light will help the plants to go dormant too, as you get towards March/April you may want them to start waking up some more light and water (maybe even a little fertilizer or castings). Not sure when you get into the 50s at night but by that time you want them nice and strong.
Thank goodness you did remind me, lol. Not only that but I also found my ginger that was gifted to me a few weeks back that I had forgotten about. That's on the next video you haven't seen yet, lol. Thanks so much for your tips. I know if they survive they will look great by next spring and give a nice harvest ☺
@ I got 3 nice harvests off my over wintered jalapeño. Just don’t feel bad if one or two don’t make it. It is a major shock to the plant. But as I said earlier they are looking good. 👍
Thank you for sharing! This is interesting for me. The new growing season will be here before we know it. It’s hard to believe Christmas is almost here. Have a wonderful week! 🥰 ❤
Hi Krista! Your videos are calming and informative and so helpful. This is the first year we have focused more on overwintering than letting the garden just get on with it. We hope to get better at overwintering with more practise.Thank you. ❤
Thanks Sandra 🙂I'm sure I could root them but I just don't have the room inside for more peppers plus all the seedling trays come Feb and Mar. Great idea 👍
Hi Barby and congratulation to you as well on reaching 500 YAY. I sure hope they survive and if I don't try I won't know, lol. Thank you and have a wonderful week 🥰
I love seeing so much more of you Krista. When I first started watching it seemed like you didn’t show your face as much. I’m a bit behind on my watching. I have no tips, I learn my tips from you. 😊
😆Oh boy Tracey you made me laugh, lol.......Depends on what I'm doing if I show my face but I certainly don't have a problem doing so 🙂I pick up lots of tips from others and learn as I go. Love doing experiments and such. Happy to help every now and again with a tip or two 😁 I hope that the pain has subsided from getting the tooth pulled.
Thanks ☺ I will for sure update the channel. Right now they are on top of a shelf out of the south facing window and hopefully will go into hibernation until I put them back in the sunshine, probably around March.
I really enjoy your videos. I am looking forward to learning more and more from you 😊 Can I ask what is on your geometric shelf behind you? I am nosey. Hehehehe
Hello Krista. I was considering trying this out , but I waited too long. They got froze out. Maybe I can try it next year. Hope you are doing well my friend!🙂❤️✝️
Good evening Rowdy ☺ It sure is not to late because they need a good 8 months to mature and give a harvest but 1st we need to get them sprouting. If you go buy some organic ginger at the store you can do exactly like I have. Let's try it together 👍 and then next year you can bring them inside to overwinter.
To my understanding, my ghost and salsa (also called anaheim on the package) are considered chilli's. I had to look up the habanero on Google and this is what is says: "The habanero is a pungent cultivar of Capsicum chinense chili pepper." Here is a link to Raw London Gardener's how to: th-cam.com/video/12bGWJLVxL4/w-d-xo.html There are others that I looked up and watched as well.
Thank you 🙂They are currently on a shelf in the corner of the living room, approx 6 ft high. There is no direct sunlight on them and the height will keep them warmer. I will give them 1/2 cup of water every 2 weeks until mid February and then move them to a sunny window and begin bringing them out of dormancy.
Very informative video Christa ❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much 💕

So many varieties of pepper plants. So cool
Thank you 🙂I began growing them because I have family that like to eat spicy food, lol. I like a medium heat in my food. It is nice to experiment 👍
