    Just finished installing my trunk lip LED spoiler and the wiring setup with the same wire quantity and color are as followed:
    Red is power, black is ground/ negative. Both of those wires were connected to the high mount/ 3rd brake light harness and connector. Brown is the brake light bulb wire, splice it into the brake bulb power wire at the tail light assembly harness. White is spliced into the right inner tail light at the power wire (should be red on the hatchbacks). Blue is right-turn signal and yellow is left-turn signal. I left both of those out as it looks weird without the sequential tail lights. Green I believe is the stroboscopic effect if you splice it in with the brown brown brake wire; again, it would've looked weird so I did not connect it.
    For anyone attempting to do this yourself (and you actually know what you are doing with electrical work), be prepared to put in about 3-4 hours. Take your time as even multi stranded wires can be delicate if not handled with care. I used 22-16awg heat shrink crimp connectors to both connect and splice the wires into the system. Heat gun is highly recommended for safely shrinking the tubes on the crimp connectors.
    Hope this helps!

      @@friendlyperson4548 I do not, that's not something I can exactly post on TH-cam without a video and quite frankly, my account is mainly for searching videos, not posting them.

    • @benitoloco899
      @benitoloco899 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@friendlyperson4548 I believe the video author posted a wiring diagram somewhere. If you have the same wire colored set up then it's pretty straight forward. If you aren't mechanically inclined or understand powerflow then consider getting a professional tech at a shop to do the job.

      Thanks for the instructions. I'm curious, is there any mode in which the led bar only works while braking? Or will it always be on while the lights are on?

    • @benitoloco899
      @benitoloco899 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@patrickvanvlooten The white colored one is the constant light wire for night time driving. I have mine spliced into the power wire for the smaller tail light portion assembled on the trunk hatch itself; it only turns on when I turn my night lights on. If you're looking for brake only mode, my suggestion is to leave that white wire disconnected and have everything else (power, ground, and brown brake wires) hooked up/ spliced in. Just make sure your electrical connections are sturdy and not loose. Elsewise, you'll have the lighting system flickering on and off in no time.

    • @RevolveAuto
      @RevolveAuto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it's the stock tire size for sport models, I swapped from my OEM 16 inch wheels tho since mine is an LX. I run 18x8.5+35 and think it looks perfect with my 235 /40 R18 Tires.
      If you want meatier tires just find one with a bigger sidewall so like 245/45/18
