Where did the year go? I enjoy listening to the three of you talk about your week. Continue the great podcasts!
Congrats on your first year! Love Fridays between your podcast and America’s Untold Stores. Also GNP is amazing! We did a 14 day trip there and into Alberta CA. We have Acadia NP on the list next year.
Happy Birthday to Homestead Shop Talk!
You have been successful and will continue to be because your podcast is three friends getting together and talking about their daily life. That along with you allowing us to share that time is wonderful. l believe anyone ,from anywhere, feels we 're sitting around the table with you. You ,as a group, are inviting us to join you.I for one thank you for that. I'm not a farmer but I enjoy learning along with you.
I've been here the entire year!!! Congratulations!!!
Wow a whole year gone just like that, I have listened to every shop talk podcast and love it!! Keep up the good work guys!!
Happy Anniversary. I've been watching since day 1. Been with Al since Olivia was little and with Jason since he built either the pig port or the greenhouse for Justin Rhodes and with the Hollars since they made their BIG TRIP. Keep on keepin' on guys
I have watched every broadcasts and your personal broadcasts Thanks for sharing about your growing farms
Congratulations on 1 Year
❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕
Haven’t missed one podcast 👍 Also, DE is not a fast kill. As the hard bodied bugs come in contact with it , it slices their bodies & causes them to basically desiccate, dry up & die
Haven't missed a week! Happy First Year Anniversary!
🎉🎉🎈🎈woohoo. Thanks for keeping it going. This is my highlight of Friday morning.
I agree I with you ❤
Agree!
CONGRATS - Never miss one - thanks for all your content

Good day to the three amigos, ONE YEAR OLD and going strong. I look forward to many more ! Al's net piglets look almost as big as Jason's year old k-k pigs. Jason, The couple from NY. might want to learn to process chicken but are watching all the pigeons in NY. Love watching Ben and his little helper in the garden. Keep up all the work on the homesteads and see you again next week !!!
Thank you for this podcast! It's been my Friday morning coffee channel. It's fun to hear what goes on behind the scenes! Happy Summer!

CONGRATULATIONS! 🎉 I look forward to every new episode! In my opinion, I don't think you need guests (at least not yet) I really just like hearing what you guys have to talk about, even if you think it's boring - to me it's not. It's another point of view of all my favorite TH-camrs! I feel like I'm in on your conversation! Great job guys!
Thanks I always enjoy your insight into homesteading and feeding your families. Haven’t homesteaded but been trying to eat clean for seven or eight years.
It took me forever to find the lumma channel. I have started out with watching everyone I can of all 3 of your channel. It's great how you live your lives. I grew up like this. Last 4 years I haven't done much. Heart problems has stopped me. Had to move and all that comes with it. But just really wanted to stay I really enjoyed all 3 channels..Keep them coming. You don't have to go over board . We just love watching anything..
Congrats on your success to one year, keep up the good work everyone
Oh yeah!!! 🎉🎉 Congratulations 🎊🎈
Congrats on a mile stone. Thanks for making time. Makes my week to get to listen to you!
Congrats on 1 year, yah for you guys and TY for doing this, haven't missed one yet.
Good afternoon y'all, Wow, It's been a whole year.
Congrats on your 1st year Anniversary. I have enjoyed every episode, you 3 fellows provide a much needed dose of normal living reality in this world of far out wing nuts, electronically enslaved kids and dramatic climate change. Japanese beetle traps will attract every beetle for miles around, so your neighbours are seriously thanking you. I’m in Eastern Ontario and the heat wave has taken us into the mid 40’s (100+F) with the humidex factored in. Making me dream of the white stuff. We’re 4 days in now and it doesn’t cool down at night either. Don’t know how people in the Southern states cope.
Congratulations Jason, Al, Ben. This has been a great year of podcasts. I haven't missed any of them. Thanks for all the up dates, tips, and how to do stuff y'all have presented. Looking forward to another year of them, good Lord willing and the creek don't rise. Y'all have a Blessed week.
Thank You … Jason, Al & Ben for a Wonderful Year of Videos 🤩
Keep ‘Em Coming !!!
Until the next one 😉💞🇺🇸
Time for Al to get out the "fire hose" setup and water those "washout" areas that are growing. If you water the grass it will rain the next day or sooner.
So, Congratulations on 1 year! Great job gentlemen!
I'm happy you guys are hanging in there doing the podcasts. I really enjoy them!
Congratulations on making it to 52 episodes! I’ve enjoyed watching every episode.
The podcast has gone really well. I really enjoy hearing you guys talking about your life and seeing your personalities.
Congratulations on a year🎉🎉thanks for making time to get together and chat. ❤❤ from Maui
yes a total year hugssssss
Hey I just watched Jason's health journey from 4 years ago and it gave me the idea like why don't you guys talk about the effects of your health with this lifestyle or what you've noticed about positive changes in your life as a result and if anybody on here reading comments has not seen Jason's journey look up so the land episode 16 and 17 with Jason and Lorraine 4 years ago oh my God it will break your heart
Great job fellas 👏 I'm soo happy you guys decided to keep this podcast going.
🎉 congratulations on yalls 1 yr! Happy Friday!
Real people go a long way‼️🧐
Good morning, Al, Ben, and Jason! Congratulations on your first year of Homestead Shop Talk! It’s been a pleasure.
Congrats on one year! Yay!
Congratulations on a years worth of homestead shop talk podcasts 🎉😊 I have been here since the beginning. I look forward to Friday's talk❤
Awesome! Thank you!
I’ve been here since the beginning! One thing living traditions homestead did to get rid of aphids was to spray milk on their tomato plants and they used it with a “fogger" inside their greenhouse and the milk dries on the leaves and nothing will go near them. It doesn’t harm any good beneficial insects. Hope this helps you all! God bless your entire family. 🥰❤️🍁🇨🇦🙏🏻
Gooooood morning, Gents. It's amazing, a full year!
I have been watching since you started and haven't missed 1. Congratulations on 52 episodes.

Can’t believe it’s been an entire year. Loving the podcast.
It is similar to being frat brothers… you encourage each other. You help problem solve with each other and entertain all of us!
I love ALL Homestead Shop Talk Podcast videos!
Congratulations guys well done here's to another year
I live in the Adirondack Mountains and this week has been in the 90's-100's with high humidity and lows been in the 70's next week in the 80's
Blessings to all of you and your families. 😊🇺🇲
Waiting for another 52 !
Happy Birthday Homestead Shop Talk!🎂🎂 It was a fantastic idea to start the podcast. Not just just for the viewers/listeners to glean information, but also y'all are supporting each other.
Ben: The Gardening Channel with James Prigioni uses a kaolin clay product to spray his fruit trees. Might want to check it out.
I think the clay spray is called Surround.
@@jansoars4058 😊👍
Good morning everyone.
You guys should get together for your one year celebration. Get some empty cow protein tubs and plant lemon balm and other plants and flowers that repel flies. Plus there are net bags that catch hundreds of them at a time. Throw some sprigs of lemon balm in a chicken coop and see how flies disapear.
CONGRATULATIONS ON REACHING 1 YEAR WITH YOUR PODCAST JASON, AL AND BEN. 🎊🎊🎊
Thank you guys for making time we love you for doing the best podcasts. ❤
Filmed in front of a live audience- Cheers
Al, I’m in upstate South Carolina, about an hour away from Ben and Jason, and we’ve been eating our full size tomatoes for about 2 weeks. Cherokee purple and early girl.
Hi Guys, Happy Anniversary! I have so enjoyed spending this year with you all! I have used Captain Jack’s Dead bug as well as Sluggo plus, and insecticidal soap! I use the Japanese beetle bags with the lure ( pheromones) from Spectracide ( Bag a bug) it is crazy how many they attract! So far we haven’t had too many bugs but with this heat wave We might get a blowout! Best to be prepared as possible! Looking forward to seeing what the next year looks like! Peace and blessings 🤗
Have y'all thought about doing a live Q and A or asking for viewers' questions? Congratulations on your 1st anniversary. Keep them coming.
They have fly traps just like the Japanese beetle ones and they work really good too! They fill up quick and will STINK!!!
That Captain Jack also makes the Neem. I ordered deadbug so I am ready for the squash bugs.
Also congratulations on a year 🎉 love the shop talk. I am a single mom mini homesteading. I can relate to most of your shoptalk
🎊 Congratulations! I watched every one 👏👏👏
I have enjoyed every one of these podcasts. Well done guys. 😊
A live audience would be 😎 🆒️
Thanks for having me.
Haven’t missed one ! Congratulations!
You don’t need anyone else, just you 3 are FAB!
I can't believe it has been a whole year already! Way to go guys!👏💖💪
Ben, Japanese Beetle bags are something you buy for your neighbors. If you hang them on your property it attracts the beetles to the bags on your property. So if you want to use them you place them as far away from the fruit and vegetables you don’t want attacked. They put a hormone in the bag that is why they attract so many beetles. Keep them at least 100 yards away from your plants you want protected.
I heard the same thing about them.
Hard to believe I've been listening for a whole year! It's gone by fast!
Congratulations on one year guys love and enjoy listening to you every Friday ❤❤❤
Happy one year of great shop talks.
Congratulations on your wonderful 52 episodes! Truly enjoy your connection with each other and all your interesting talks! Happy Days! I like hanging sticky traps for flying bugs which includes flies. My dollarama has them- 4/$1. Maybe help Al for your barn! Remember to hang high though so doesn’t stick to other things such as your hair! 😅 yay, Peaches, Ben!
Hi Ben..when will you be restarting the house extension build?? I really loved seeing that... Take it easy but still get in sime build
Happy Birthday
