Ben you nailed when you said how awful meat is from the grocery store. Not that long ago, maybe 3 years or so, I would buy a NY steak and it was delicious and tender. Not anymore!! Full of grissle now, and the price per pound is outragious. So far pork chops are the best, so that is what I eat instead of beef. The produce is also horrible. You have to really inspect it or it will rot within one day, especially lettuce. I wish I was still young and could do what all of you are doing!
Hello guys, tks for video. Not gonna comment on Jason hair.....lol...Ben it would be nice to see your hair down. Al hat man this week...love you guys and your podcast...keep it going.....
Lolol on the subject of baseboards...my Dad built a ranch style house back in the 60's after we sold the half section ranch and moved across the river to 18 acres. After the folk passes in the late 90's we were getting the house ready to sell, Dad had never gotten the baseboards installed in Mom's bathroom...once the stuff gets moved in, it's hard to back to those projects!
Hey Gang 👋 Great Posting, missed your postings, need to do a live podcast, I've been off 3 months for medical reasons, God's Good Blessings to you and your beautiful family's keep up the great work love U guys XOXOXO stay safe and healthy, ❤👍🇨🇦 👋
lol! It is too early for me to have dinner here but my mouth is watering listening to you guys share about your dinner! 😋 When my kids were little and they would ask what was for dinner, I would say chicken, rice and corn! They were picky eaters but they would always eat chicken! A Boston cream donut sounds good almost any time Al! Jason you have become the turkey whisperer! You guys cracked me up with the “Hit Man” comments! Definitely a name to be changed! Blessings on you all and your families and your coming workshops! Ben you need to try Weber’s horseradish mustard! Another great thing from Buffalo NY! Peace and blessings 😉🤗😁
I felt something new today from Jason. The reality of our issue with the food system and how you guys might be our new way forward might be sinking in. I don't think this is just about money as much as it is about health. We are all waking up to the corruption and sickness that we are all dealing with regarding food. Thank you all for creating your youtube channels. It is one thing to save yourself and another to actually give the world good healthy food.
I listen to all your TH-cam pages but I listen to this one first nowadays. Ben, you have a word whisker, "stuff like that..." 😅 Keep up the great work you guys.
Saw a video this week on TH-cam. The machine took out the hump in the middle and leveled it off. It filled in the tire ruts and puddles. It brought the gravel back to the surface. It did not throw the stones all over in the yard.
well done AL, you are probably subject to high blood glucose from sugars and starches before. rice, potatoes, bread etc and that cotton candy stuff that Jason suggested. Being type 2 diabetic I understand by now. Jams and home made stuff using processed wheat and sugars a massive issue with the oils used too and syrups etc.
Your idea, Al, is so clever, to harvest wood and keep it dry with an inverted bladder. Watched your video. I have to keep wondering how you guys keep track of expenses versus profits with animal sales. In NC the tax on food items unprocessed is very low, 2%, but all the costs of creating that item would be subtracted from sale price to give a net value. Hope it pays! More power!
The Amish have church every other week at the farm of one of the members. When they have church coming all the daughters spend at least one day cleaning. The house gets pressure washed, every bit of muck gets cleaned out of the barn, fences are mended and sometimes even repainted. About once every ten months, the farm has to be good enough to host church.
easy way to freeze apples peel and slice into salt water drain do not rinse pat dry and bag up will not taste salty and stay white from 77 yearold from England love vlogs xx
I just looked up Evercrisp apples. I bet they are good. We love the Honeycrisp, especially when we got them from the orchard in Michigan. We get them at times in Florida.
AL.. Congratulations on no sugar... With halloween around the corner ive eaten enough sugar for you, Ben and Jason plus myself! Tis month ihas ben terrible for me for sugar! Im just praying i dont continue so much that i star gaining weight!.
In the stores I have been in the meat quality is down, the quantity is down, and I haven’t been able to find any turkey worth having. Costco was selling less than a pound of strips for $18.

Awesome podcast as always ❤
I was skeptical of Al's IBC tote wood storage but by the time he finished and then split the plastic into "roofs" I WAS IN AWE!
Those roof's were so brilliant. .
People do it all the time for a few years now!
@@debbiebeckstead9268 Never seen it before so was impressed at the cleverness of this.

Enjoyed your podcast. 💚
In your climate Jason, I think you should be able to grow bok choy outside for winter, and bugs won’t be as bad as in the greenhouse.
ham and scalloped potatoes and green beans are my fave ham dinner hugssssss
Yumm-a!
@ Al, did you record your "talk"? And where can we watch it, if you did?
Ben saying a lot of sitting im sure he would enjoy the down time but its got to be hard when you know all the stuff you need to do lol hugsssss
I love the feel of horseradish. Opens my sinuses! 😂
Bless you Ben,, you sneezed
I listen to all your TH-cam pages but I listen to this one first nowadays.
Ben, you have a word whisker, "stuff like that..." 😅
Keep up the great work you guys.
Always a good time , with you guys your wives are the COOOOOLEST from Ontario Canada
Hi guys I was a little late today.

David the Good's Compost your enemies T shirts are the Bomb!
I live in Arkansas and yeah we have some high heat with lots of humidity. That’s why we drink sweet tea 😊
Ben just rent a harley/power/box rake will lift up old gravel and fill in puddles will look like fresh gravel.
Saw a video this week on TH-cam. The machine took out the hump in the middle and leveled it off. It filled in the tire ruts and puddles. It brought the gravel back to the surface. It did not throw the stones all over in the yard.
Yes they work great.
Thanks for sharing! Al, have your thyroid checked.
Email sent!
👀👀❤❤🙏🙏

I like the free hair look!
Now that you said that I can’t stop looking at his hair 😊

Great video!
That answered my question about the loan turkey
Jason is wild hair, don’t care. LOL
Could you share the apple cobbler recipe?
Howdy Fellers.... So Ben you harvested 7 pigs last year... How many pork freezers do you have?
AL.. Congratulations on no sugar... With halloween around the corner ive eaten enough sugar for you, Ben and Jason plus myself! Tis month ihas ben terrible for me for sugar! Im just praying i dont continue so much that i star gaining weight!.

Stopping sugar, is just as hard as it is to stop smoking. So know you know.
I can’t hardly eat meat anymore because it doesn’t taste like meat. It’s hard to believe how bad it had become
The Hit Man probably got a visit from the FBI. 😂😂😂
Jason... with that crazy hair you look like the guy on Good Mythical Morning.. Haha
Wondering how much wood is in a cord. Just curious
No chicken, pork, and some beef
❤
❤️
Why is Al Lumnah so strange ? Thats my question 😂😂😂
hello all so i tried to send you an email but it keeps getting kicked back saying address not found any advice please i have sooooo meany questions. thank you
What I can’t understand is there a difference between homesteading and farming
Jason, try to sell some chickens to the people who come to your butchering party.
Instead of The HIT Man... try.. The CAMP COUNSELOR
AL, have your blood pressure checked.
To the customers quest what How many pounds they what How many pounds they what.
Al do you have kids?
They have a daughter named Penelope. Around 12-13 years of age I think.
@@miephoex Al and Gina have one daughter, Olivia. Jason and Lorraine have one daughter, Penelope. 😊
Jason, you need a haircut... Woody Woodpecker?
Great smile, sense of humor and mostly a man of character is Jason.
I like two of your blogs the other guy says (I like it) far too much. 😀
