My friend had to weld up a roll cage in a Mitsubishi racer. He bought a Weldtec I Head Roto and a stubby gas lens kit. He said it made the job much easier. Passed safety with compliments.
Exactly!!! I learned something new today. I didn't even know that Tungsten could be bent. Could of given me a thousand years and I would never have figured that out.
I work in a field where tight welds are not uncommon, but the small torches just won't give you the gas coverage you need. Ive had to bend a few pieces of tungsten in the past. It can get you out of a bind. I wonder how the bendable tungsten would do with some heat on it ?
"Micro TIG torch" for hard to reach places: amzn.to/4cjA4rS
I like when you talk and explain in your videos. You're seriously the most skilled tig welder on youtube!
This man does not waste any time in continuing to turn out fantastic content. Many thanks.
And don’t forget to sharpen before bending 😎
Thanks for this, very neat!
now me! now me! ✌
"how can one bend the cup now too?"
🤭
Easy, use flexible ceramic cups…😉
Thanks.
My apprentice just does it for me in his struggle!
🍻👨🏻🏭🇨🇦
Knowing this was possible it would have come in so handy a couple of different times in the past.
Careful not to dip your tungsten in the tungsten.
Thank you so much! This is terrific!

Very nice!
Nice video sir 👍 😊
I'm not sure what I would use it for, but it's nice to know that I can do it
Great tip, I never would have thought of it. Does it count as dipping the tungsten if you dip it in tungsten????
Unreal!
I had no idea. Bad ass!

Crazy I just did something like this about a month ago for the first time to weld a couple 1.5" nuts from the throu hole.
I've had to do that

Tungsten's got Peyronie's disease! 😂
Now someone needs to make a hooded elbow no 7 pyrex
Have you ever experimented with a flat or bevelled to one side or the other tungsten tip. A blade shape rather than a cone or even a pyramidal?
Is pulsed tig best for welding aluminum?
👍
Every day can be a school day :)
Wow, I thought this was going to be a joke, turns out you really can bend a tungsten.😏
