What is the easiest way to just drain a maverick r factory fuel tank? Can you pump it out of the filler neck with one of those battery transfer pumps from harbor freight? I just really need to drain fuel I have no reason to take the entire pump out. I’d rather not mess with the fuel float if I don’t have to.
Have you done the catch can yet? Just did one and it smokes bad all the time compared to my x3. Tons of fumes in cab people always thinking cars on fire. I’m Trying to find someone else that did one to see if these new motors just have a lot of blowby or I need to dig into it
Great job on this detailed vid, thank you!
Thank you! Hopefully I didn't confuse anyone ;)
I’m patiently waiting for the test run video :) , good job man
Gotta get a quick trip to Glamis in 😃
and the thing at the top is a billet inline fuel filter. you can dissasemble and clean it, fuel pumps still down in the bottom of the sump
Thank you. I am certainly not the expert. It sounded good though, right? Lol
FWIW I did at least update the description for the video to clarify that. THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP!
@@HooverManeuvers sounded very believeable 😂
Lmao yea i was about a say the fuel pump is in the bottom you were pointing at the fuel pump filter

Use the jiggler through the filler neck. Works great!
@@HooverManeuvers will it get all the fuel out of the tank? Or will there be some left in the tank?
Just a few ounces
i went from EVO 93R to the E85 and holy hell is it incredibly fast lol it burns the 35's off like nothing 😂
I did a quick put in the neighborhood Sunday. Did a 2 wheel burn out. It smoked the tires through the first 4 gears in only about 75 feet!
Nice job, my friend 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for watching! I really appreciate the encouragement

No can yet. EVO is almost ready. They will smoke some. The Maverick R is pushing more boost.
Have you swapped out the fuel rail to an Evo?
yes sir! th-cam.com/video/VKu92DotOF8/w-d-xo.html
Great job on the video; 6 hour install?
Ha, it can be done in a couple of hours if you're not trying to video and take a lunch break.
Very informative.
Thank you:)
Thank you. I appreciate the feedback
Off topic, but where did you get that passenger GPS mount??
That's a BRP accessory mount with a Garmin Baja base bolted to it
What's the torque increases?
I don't know the numbers but I definitely felt more bottom end grunt
Bro you should have done your intake pipes and full exhaust before you ran this…
Not sure what you mean by intake pipes. EVO boost tubes are installed. Full exhaust is installed now. Video release tomorrow. Thanks for watching!
