PBKS need more consistency from Bairstow, Curran, Harshal and co
I don't like Punjab's batting and their strategy during bowling. For me they need to fix their batting one way or another. They need someone who can attack spinners in the middle overs.They should consider Russow or Raza for this role. I prefer Raza for his bowling value. Curran and Arshdeep are way too similar and not in great form, negating the variety they individually offer. I don't think they can do much about death bowling but they have to be better with the new ball. They have the option of bringing in Woakes or Kaverappa as an Indian option.
Harshal is past his shelf life. He is mule headed and tries the same ball...the slow bouncer again and again irrespective of who is playing . In the last match Porel the lanky wiry youth like hardik has hit him for six he repeated the same ball again and got pasted for 20+ runs. Never once did he change the length or the line. Not a single Yorker or attacking the stump. If you verify in every match he had bowled rank bad overs in 19th or 20th over where he is supposed to be an expert. But not showing commonsense nor adaptability any more. Huge liability for Punjab kings
