what a great idea! my eyebrows are uneven (and one is also jagged from a childhood scar), but using brow stencils really helps balance them out somewhat, for plucking and filling in both. but this symmetrical idea is great plus not having to hold it in place with one hand while filling in.
Love your eye look such striking shadow but subtle at the same time I learned new steps Do brows 1st Eyes 2nd and foundation 3rd. I don’t do them in that order so will try a new order format. Thanks for the tips.
Thank you!! Yes, it's a strange order to do makeup but if you are using stencils, it's really helpful! I also love doing my foundation after eyeshadow so I can clean up all the fallout and have a clean canvas for my concealer and foundation....I might be a little crazy but that's the way I like to roll😂😘
The only thing I am going to purchase are great brushes! I think I will enjoy my makeup more with a little better grade of brush. Tools are so important!

Hello and welcome to my channel!!💕 You have asked a great question! I typically do base my eyeshadow selections on what I'm going to wear for the day. Not everyone does that but I think it helps pull the whole look together. I don't necessary "match" the same color but I like to do colors that at least will coordinate with the colors in my outfit (i.e., pink shirt would work with grays, purples, fuchsia, etc.). I do have an old video on eyeshadow blending in the outer corner that I'll link below that you may find helpful. As for a makeup bag, I have recently purchased and loved the ones from Allie Glines. Ok I’m definitely going to try the little smudging at the edge of my liquid liner. I’m always going back and forth trying to make sure it’s perfectly even so this is probably a much better option lol. I love that eye palette as well. I use it a lot!

I'm so glad you are enjoying my videos💗 For a good starter brush set, there are a couple that I'd recommend, depending on your budget. Sigma and BK Beauty both have some great sets. They are a little more on the pricey side but the quality is amazing! If you want to start with some good brushes but not spend quite so much, you may want to do an "a la carte" kind of purchase and buy a couple from Morphe and then maybe one or two from Sigma. Love this look! I have been away from makeup for awhile but your tutorials have been very inspiring!! I'm worried about eyeshadow colors being too dark on my mature skin. Not sure what looks best. Have always worn eyeliner but my hands shake so much more now, it's hard getting the lines smooth. Any suggestions?

So happy to know you are inspired to dig back into your makeup and have some fun😘 You can definitely start off using mid-tone eyeshadow colors....this will help give you some definition but not be so hard to blend out. As for liner, one of my favorite things to do is to smudge the liner with a brush and then add a little shadow on top. This diffuses the line and therefore doesn't have to be perfectly straight and smooth😘
Love your hair. Mine is thinner, and it has started getting wavier with age which was straight when I was young. Wish it was straighter again. I don’t use much makeup, so it was interesting watching you put a lot of different things on.

I use to fight with my brows! I could spend far too much time trying to get out the door for work. There is a great permanent cosmetic artist where I live. I went and had my eyebrows tattooed. This was prior to micro blading. I love them!

*MAC Paint Pot (Soft Ochre) For under lip, before lip pencil. It’s an eye shadow. I thought in other videos you used concealer but I see in this tutorial it’s a eye shadow from MAC. WOW. Yes, I think the stencils can be a great learning tool! You are blessed to have made it this long without having to fill in your brows! The key is to find the right shade...don't go too dark! I started out with a powder first and then moved on to pencils😘 Thank you for your kind words, sweet lady💖

Another stunning makeup look! It’s so bright and fresh! Love it! Could you do a tutorial on how to choose the correct foundation? I have Vitiligo (losing my skin pigmentation) due to cancer treatments. Not sure which skin tone to match, the darker or lighter. Skin tones have always confused me anyway. Some say to match your inside wrist, your neck/chest area, the hidden area under your neck...🤪😱 Don’t even ask me if my veins are green or blue tinted or if my skin has a yellow tone or red! 🤷🏻♀️ Maybe you have already addressed this subject in another video, but it is like a foreign language to me. Well, you have been a wonderful blessing to me too and I'm so thankful you found my channel!!♥️🥰 Finding the correct shade of foundation is definitely challenging!! There are different ways to determine your skin's undertone....the veins is a big one but also the color of jewelry that looks best on you. I'll link a video I did awhile back that gives a few other ways to try to determine it. In my online makeup academy courses, they say to match the color of your neck. I'm a prime example of why this is important because I have a lot of redness in my face but my neck is super pale....if I match the color on my face, it looks like it's 2 shades too dark! I have the same problem with my brows, one is very thin & the end just kind of disappears cause it’s so fine & thin. Glad to know I’m not the only one with this trouble. I have also had dark circles under my eyes ever since I was a child, can you help me find the best product to hide/cover them? I need it to come from WalMart or Walgreen’s cause I live in small town & those are the best places I have to shop for them. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. 😊
Finding the perfect concealer can be a struggle for sure!! I'm still testing several but one that I've tried and liked from the drugstore recently is the Milani Conceal + Perfect. It has really good coverage, just be sure to add some moisture to the eye area first and then tap the concealer in with your finger. Another good one is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind💕

I have a bad case of lash envy every time I watch you put on mascara. I like the bit of darkness on the outer edge of the eye lids. I think it gives a little eye lift to my old eyes. I never was a fan of fireworks and seems like I dislike them more as I get older. I think most dogs are fearful of all that noise. Every time I watch one of your makeup videos like this I want to put on makeup but its a bit late or too early depending on how you view 5:10am lol. Now then I'm going to skip over to check out that community tab you mentioned.

I was born and raised in So California and lived there until 11 years ago. My daughter is a hair stylist and a color specialist in Riverside, l miss being able to visit family 3 or more times a year. My husband had bladder cancer and had treatment for 2 years and it didn’t work. So 8 months ago he had his bladder removed, so we are being safe and staying home most of the time. We live in an Amish country and we have shared our faith with them. Our Baptist church is a small loving church..... Be safe.......

I'm so glad you are enjoying my videos💗 For a good starter brush set, there are a couple that I'd recommend, depending on your budget. Sigma and BK Beauty both have some great sets. They are a little more on the pricey side but the quality is amazing! If you want to start with some good brushes but not spend quite so much, you may want to do an "a la carte" kind of purchase and buy a couple from Morphe and then maybe one or two from Sigma. I'll link my two brush videos below so you can get an idea of what to look for and then decide what might fit your budget:

Love this look! I have been away from makeup for awhile but your tutorials have been very inspiring!! I'm worried about eyeshadow colors being too dark on my mature skin. Not sure what looks best. Have always worn eyeliner but my hands shake so much more now, it's hard getting the lines smooth. Any suggestions?

So happy to know you are inspired to dig back into your makeup and have some fun😘 You can definitely start off using mid-tone eyeshadow colors....this will help give you some definition but not be so hard to blend out. As for liner, one of my favorite things to do is to smudge the liner with a brush and then add a little shadow on top. This diffuses the line and therefore doesn't have to be perfectly straight and smooth😘

Love your hair. Mine is thinner, and it has started getting wavier with age which was straight when I was young. Wish it was straighter again. I don’t use much makeup, so it was interesting watching you put a lot of different things on.

Cream blushes are great for mature skin, and especially if you have dry skin. My current favorites are from Nudestix (Nudies Bloom) and the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blushes😘

I use to fight with my brows! I could spend far too much time trying to get out the door for work. There is a great permanent cosmetic artist where I live. I went and had my eyebrows tattooed. This was prior to micro blading. I love them!

*MAC Paint Pot (Soft Ochre) For under lip, before lip pencil. It’s an eye shadow. I thought in other videos you used concealer but I see in this tutorial it’s a eye shadow from MAC. WOW. Please let me know how this works. I’m 76/years and I believe you used this on other subjects. Your so very pretty. ❤️❤️ Be safe

Yes, I think the stencils can be a great learning tool! You are blessed to have made it this long without having to fill in your brows! The key is to find the right shade...don't go too dark! I started out with a powder first and then moved on to pencils😘 Thank you for your kind words, sweet lady💖

Another stunning makeup look! It’s so bright and fresh! Love it! Could you do a tutorial on how to choose the correct foundation? I have Vitiligo (losing my skin pigmentation) due to cancer treatments. Not sure which skin tone to match, the darker or lighter. Skin tones have always confused me anyway. Some say to match your inside wrist, your neck/chest area, the hidden area under your neck...🤪😱 Don’t even ask me if my veins are green or blue tinted or if my skin has a yellow tone or red! 🤷🏻♀️ Maybe you have already addressed this subject in another video, but it is like a foreign language to me. Well, you have been a wonderful blessing to me too and I'm so thankful you found my channel!!♥️🥰 Finding the correct shade of foundation is definitely challenging!! There are different ways to determine your skin's undertone....the veins is a big one but also the color of jewelry that looks best on you. I'll link a video I did awhile back that gives a few other ways to try to determine it. In my online makeup academy courses, they say to match the color of your neck. I'm a prime example of why this is important because I have a lot of redness in my face but my neck is super pale....if I match the color on my face, it looks like it's 2 shades too dark! Anyway, I think you have definitely given me a good reason to do a whole video just on foundation matching! Stay tuned😘

I have the same problem with my brows, one is very thin & the end just kind of disappears cause it’s so fine & thin. Glad to know I’m not the only one with this trouble. I have also had dark circles under my eyes ever since I was a child, can you help me find the best product to hide/cover them? I need it to come from WalMart or Walgreen’s cause I live in small town & those are the best places I have to shop for them. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. 😊
Finding the perfect concealer can be a struggle for sure!! I'm still testing several but one that I've tried and liked from the drugstore recently is the Milani Conceal + Perfect. It has really good coverage, just be sure to add some moisture to the eye area first and then tap the concealer in with your finger. Another good one is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind💕

I have a bad case of lash envy every time I watch you put on mascara. I like the bit of darkness on the outer edge of the eye lids. I think it gives a little eye lift to my old eyes. I never was a fan of fireworks and seems like I dislike them more as I get older. I think most dogs are fearful of all that noise. Every time I watch one of your makeup videos like this I want to put on makeup but its a bit late or too early depending on how you view 5:10am lol. Now then I'm going to skip over to check out that community tab you mentioned.

I was born and raised in So California and lived there until 11 years ago. My daughter is a hair stylist and a color specialist in Riverside, l miss being able to visit family 3 or more times a year. My husband had bladder cancer and had treatment for 2 years and it didn’t work. So 8 months ago he had his bladder removed, so we are being safe and staying home most of the time. We live in an Amish country and we have shared our faith with them. Our Baptist church is a small loving church..... Be safe.......

Isn’t that foundation about two shades too light?? End result looks good
It did start off a little light but I think it ended up the right shade. The key is matching the foundation shade to the neck and my neck is much paler than my face at the moment😘
