2nd match was insane. Lategame NE looks scary, the blizzard did pretty much nothing. He didn't even have chimeras, just a bunch of bears. Protecting the one mining base with towers and masonry upgrades would've probably secured the game.
Idk why grubby still make mortar, i feel like its not effective. I think mortar or catapult etc is more effective to break the building not for war. Sorry im not pro, can anyone tell me why grubby make a mortar 😅
@@kozapramudya7340 Siege damage is good vs unarmored.. A lot of NE is unarmored, except the bears which are heavy armor. Magic dmg is good vs the heavy armor, but the gryphons had a tough time surviving.
It might have been better to try to rush bm 6 for phoenix before getting the paladin, holy light is nice but phoenix fire hard counters bears and grubby desperately needed the damage because blizzard wasnt doing enough
@@ambion19 Gryphons do fine Magic damage, but Night Elf had Hippogryphs, Storm Crows, and Faerie Dragons. Flying Machines with Flak Cannons would have helped against those.
Finally finished the vid. The 2nd game looked like a pro game ngl. Grubby had an exceptional early game & lots of expansions but it still wasn't enough. Towards the end it seemed like the NE was toying with him by never pressing the fight advantages he had then I realized he was just buying time for his pitlord. After I saw his demon & pitlord hit 6 I knew it was over. Goes to show why most pros are doing tanks vs this NE strat now. Very little opportunity to do meaningful dmg to NE base/Army
Its a deathball race. Individually human units are probably the easiest to kill, but in a nice 50 plus army ball they synergize better than other races imo
Always good to see another video from the good ol grubmeister also just subbed after watching you for at least 200hrs+ of watch time lmfao thought I was already subbed with how much you pop up on my feed
@21:55 no matter what people say, this is some godlike play that I have never seen people do. That slight increase in regen from that action is just beautiful to watch, I almost have tears in my eyes from the passion I feel for this game.
I cried every time grubby changes his colour to the default blue or red 😢 Im not sure if he’s intentionally doing it or its something that ranked does or w/e
You should someday defeat an opponent with a level 6 pit lord. Yes, your ground army was indeed too small to stand up to his bears. Perhaps you should have built more regular riflemen and knights after the first or second battle, since it was clear he had bought into the magic and air. Towering is also an option when you have the last two gold mines on the map, and the enemy lives on savings
Hey have you ever tried getting fast Tier2 and creeping 3-4 creep camps but leaving the creeps at 1 HP so you can collect them all once as Tier2 finishes to get the extra bonus EXP from tier2 and a instant lvl 1 -> 3, then just stock up on items and go the anti fengshui build. you walk back the way you came and clean up the creeps with 1hp getting +15% exp on all of them
Risk reward is terrible for this play. If enemy ever thinks to leave their base even just with a scout (imagine losing your camp to a scout...) they are taking your camps and losing even 1 camp in this strat would make it completely not worth it (less total XP even after 15%), plus you aren't getting the items / xp from camps along the way so your creeping isn't speeding up or getting safer over time. You are completely forfeiting contesting any medium / large camps or opponent expo. Imagine your lev 1 hero is spotted by their level 2 or god forbid level 3 hero, you will get ABUSED and if they see any camps you lose the match immediately because now they instantly clear a camp, get an item and set you even further behind. The other case where your opponent completely ignores your side of the map with their army and doesn't scout you, what do you get? Marginally further into level 3? So you still aren't even level 4 and even if you were, is that worth risking outright losing the game to something as simple as an enemy scout?
Hey grubby. I remember when I used to play WC back in the day (early 2000s) my two main strays where mass huntress and sorceress with polymorph rush.... literally would get a couple of footman to do fast expansion and creep. Then build x3 santums and pump out the sorceresses... is this a viable strategy? It worked pretty well for me back in the day
Grubby around 33-35 minutes where you and ne were sitting back carefully taking positions would it have been useful harass to run up, throw a single wave or two of blizzard on his bears, and sanctuary out again?
I cannot understand why people are going 2 mages vs NE without harassing.... never saw it works on high level of play. 2 NE heroes nearly unstoppable in the end game, 3-3 bears-dryads that are not really afraid of AOE. And they just a-move into army and breaks everything.
It is part of meta shift. MK is better at holding early expand and denying undead expansion. Especially vs crypto lord, but it is fine against DK too. Clap just destroys weaker units like ghouls and skeletons. With Grubby, though and his bah, go figure...
I love watching Grubby playing human
.,.
👁️👄👁️
booba
Yes, he is much better at it than Zuckerberg imo
and UD ❤❤
Grubby letting go of his orc savagery and embracing his humanity
... it's beautiful 😩

10:08 the "Grubby's brain not processing goldmines if they're not protected by creeps" strikes again

I always knew the Dutch had secret invisible pears that sustained them
Humans such a stressful race lol
Yet when I watch someone play human I feel "sleepy" or captivated :)

14:53 Too bad, Pato vs Grubby would be a great game
Your micro sucked in the second game Grubby lol sorry had to say it. You’re still a legend bad games happen 😂
My soul was crushed every time the gryphons started to attack heroes instead of bears 😢
4 base Vs 2 Base, it's crazy stressful to play, props to both guys. Ggs

Yooo, right on Grubby. More tryhard games!
Grubby human tryharding. Best video to watch for lunch. :)
great games dude! BTW you should do a grubbytalks tier list for all unit voice sound bites.
That mana control was awesome
He did so good. Still had plenty of elegiggles even with a mana drain dh
Those 2 late holy lights to save the archmage felt like a big part of the loss. Would it have been a win if archmage didn't die those two times?
Just casually eating a cucumber like it’s an apple? No one talking about that?
Bro giving energy stone to the blood mage and then transfering mana to Gendalf is the biggest brain move I've ever seen
ALL HAIL THE INVISIBLE CUCUMBER
Wauw what a first game, I love it!
The fights in the second game looked winnable, if Grubby cast blizzard from the back instead of the front maybe? idk
Love map and race variety!
Tryhard human is the best
Bulgaria mentioned! 💪💪💪

Yeah the purple human is one of my favorites too
more visible
He does this for visibility

Joining GNL as human, this is perfect timing
This is why humans should never mess with grizzlies.
grubby straight up just eating a cucumber?

Gurbbly play a 1v1 vs Harstem in the Starcraft 2 vs Warcraft 3 mod, it would be so good

HOTS HERO SPOTLIGHT WHEN?

Yea..AM and BM were pretty much useless in the last third of the game.
Interesting? Could someone please help me understand why did he go MK first? Just because "TRYHARD"-ing?

Im see grubby have played in wc3 champions 5713 games, how much games you guys think hes have total in lifetime? :D
