A tropical zoo would be cool, but it would be nice to see something a bit different to the standard jungle...what about a jungly beach or chain of islands? Like Bali or Rio or the Caribbean? Lots of raised boardwalks and palms.
Actually seeing the finished build, a Bali/Java themed series of jungly islands would work really well with this. As well as the S.E. Asia pack you could add tiger, elephant, peafowl, Komodo dragon, cassowary and saltwater croc and have raised walks and boat safaris travelling round the islands. What do you think?
I loved the Sky Garden series, which was also tropical, if I remember? But what I liked most about that series is the constraints that the rooftop gave and the creativiteit that was needed to put in animals. I'd love to see more mixed habitats like this, apart from a safari, people dont really build mixed habitats I think. So yes to tropical and yes to habitats like this (mixed), but a "ehh" to a loose kind of zoo :P

THIS. IS. GORGEOUS! Love it!!!!!!!!!!!! It reminds me a ton of some modern version of the Khmer Ruins and general Cambodian rainforest Tropical is so overdone, personally speaking. But your zoo will end up being amazing regardless. If you really wanted to make it stand out from every other tropical zoo, there are tropical areas people don't gravitate to with unique features, like Laguna Colorada in Bolivia or Lake Hillier in Australia (we can do this now!). Ziangjiajie National Park, China (Hallelujah Mountain inspiration in Avatar); Chocolate Hills, Phillippines; You could also go down an odd and unique landscape option, with Blood Falls, Antarctica; Mono Lake, California; Giant's Causeway, N. Ireland; Rainbow Mountains in China; Midway Geyser, Yellowstone; or Fly Geyser, Nevada..... just to name a literal few of the most insane ideas.
19:59 the hanging animation was sadly removed when they remade the model. I hope it will be added again in the future, I want to see them use their prehensile tails
Why in the flipping H E double hockey sticks did they do that? Was a tail hanging animation really so connected to the fur shader that it had to be removed?

It would be cool if you did a sort of tropical park/reservation, along the lines of Yosemite where there is education areas and also a release to the wild /rehab sort of area. I am thinking about the brown bear exhibit in Yosemite specifically. Full of tropical animals (maybe Malaysia or Borneo as the rehab animals) and other tropical animals or African plains animals for the attraction areas. Idk just an idea. I really loved this build a lot, as per usual.
So how do you set the boundaries for the habitat? As in that small climbing area up the top, doesn't that count as a place they can potentially escape from? Plus that viewing area looks like it cuts into the habitat, I didn't know that was allowed :o

Planet Zoo and Phrehistoric Kingdom are booth really nice games. In booth of the games are features I want in the other. For example the scaling or the custom shops. With the animals in on Habitat (something from the cometary what Rudi mentioned) you can put all animals in one habitat I think. I put them in one like they make sense. So for example I builded one house with turtles, 2 monkeys and flamingos. Each animal has their own area but all in one habitat. I just would put a meat eating animal together with another animal in one habitat.
I would love to see you doing a European „city“ zoo. I know the lady is doing that kind of series, but I think you have a special twist (German) on it. Cause hers is mostly featuring Dutch and nordish zoos
I think it is a good idea to make a zoo from this build but everyone making tropical zoos so i think u need to make a new type of zoo like somthing in the desert and more modern
I feel like unlike dinosaurs planet zoo has to do a lot more research into real life animal care, their behaviors, what they eat, ect. since dinosaurs don't exist anymore and creative liberties can be taken for them unlike live animals that could be looked up by someone and they see its incorrect
