Really Sad that so many people seem to forget that stories of powerful women and their storylines began in earnest back in the early 1990's; really sad that it's taken yet another 30 years to see those storylines picked up and attempted again.
This movie is not something that interests me, I watch this interview because I like Halina Reijn. But after reading the comments I want to say : folks, its just a movie, relax. Do you also react this wasy about horror movies, or movies when lots of people get killed.
This is just a sensationalist, "scandalous", **'clickbait'** film. Plus, a version of this film has been done before...: "Disclosure", starring Demi Moore & Michael Douglas. I guess when a woman boss does that, she's just "exploring her sekshuality & power". But, if a powerful man in a corporation has a relationship with, especially, a very young female intern, then feminists especially regard that as an, inherently, abuse of power. Plus, in real life a woman in a Bay Area firm had a _longterm voluntary_ relationship with her exec male boss, and when for whatever reason the relationship didn't work out, she very melodramatically claimed discrimination, & 'poor little me', & sued. Fortunately she grandly lost her lawsuit, but he still had to endure this ordeal & his name still got falsely dragged through the mud. Of course this case did a great disservice for women with _legitimate_ claims of harassment & gender discrimination.

I'm glad.
I got to hear it from the director's mouth which confirms this movie is as stupid as the reviews have been coming in on

it is bdsm film among other things . where is the scandal?!
Lots of sexual hypocrisy! Men see things as they are, women see things how they feel about them.
