Fantastic farm. Made it after setting up my early game base in hardcore and I've been rolling in Exp and Cinder drops. Set it up so that any Argus spawn outside my base. Pro tip: You can also use a Waystone to move far away and despawn any Argus. It's instant, so you can go straight back to base (I typically build around wild Waystones).

Dear @Zerger Thank your for your videos. They were plenty helpful in my rlcraft hardcore and shivaxi config runs. My question is how did you originally figure out their spawning mechanics? Now that Dregora is here I tried building them but they dont work as intended. I tried looking through the lycanitesmobs config searching for differences in their spawning metrics. But found no major differences yet. Nudging me in the right direction for my research would be highly appreciated
I got a bit obsessed with the spawning liquids way back and why they sometimes spawn and other times not, so like any normal person I obsessed over them by staying AFK for long periods of time and slowly increasing the pool size one source block at a time until I found the magic number for the liquids and then the same for the fire block types
Also you can loot those castles in ocean. The ones that on the water (sometimes there's castles in the air, you dont want that) they have 3 or 4 netherrack right in the middle.
Quick question, would this work as modules? What I mean is can u make 2 of them next to each other and just double the output? Or is there some limit that shivaxi put on it for that too?
I dont know why but it doesnt work for me I tried making it bigger and in superflat I tried making a big fire aera to see if I just need to make it big enough but no chance :( Nothing spawns i dont quite get it. I saw someome talking about biome and height, in which did you build it? Nevermind it works now!
@@CheeseWeasel48 first I needed to make it bigger as I stated, 12 coal or netherite blocks is what I used. I made it underground too and then reloaded and waited, the first time it actually took about 3-5 minutes but then they started spawning relatively quickly for a while, kinda goes in waves.
They can hit me through it? Edit: Also I made it underground, could it be that they barely spawn because there is a cave behind the spawner with mobs inside? I can hear them so I think there is a cave nearby.
Perhaps the mob cap was hit by nearby spawns? A way to check is to run over 128 blocks away then come back to reset hostile mob spawns. I wonder if you could build this at max build height (can waystones be moved?) to minimize other spawns?
one tip to not get damaged... when they spawn, get close to the left corner or the right corner (right below the block they try to reach, below the stone fence), then aproach the middle blocks without getting far from them, then you go back little by little just to have 1 or 2 pixels between the stone slab and the glass, start hitting from top to above until you hit (if you do down to top, you can destroy the glass). With practice this is easy, but sometimes they stil hit you, its a good farm for early game
I made mine slightly larger after trying this build and they started spawning like mad, coulda just been coincidence but seemed to have speed up the spawn rate for me (it spawns chaos elementals when you kill too many, just a heads up if you are on a hardcore world like me)
Nope it'll work as long as you're not on peaceful. If you're playing on a server and there are already cinders somewhere else in the world the cap will be full and they can't spawn in the farm

Go to furnace, place on top any Log (the brute wood you get when chop down a tree, not the wood you place a log and chop with axe ou the one you get putting a saw in the crafting table) and any fuel below like coal, another log, wood... then get 9 charcoal and place everywhere in the crafting table, you get 1 charcoal block. To make 12 charcoal block, you need 108 logs in to charcoal (3x4 blocks is 12 blocks, 9 charcoal per block, so 12x9 = 108)

rl crsft 2.9.3, they dont go up, anyone knows what it could be?

build it in the sky cuz the spawn ratio between it and other spawners

does anyone know the spawn rate and the drop rate of this farm?
Sorry to bother, but I want to make a mini blaze farm like yours, I put a fire in netherrack, and none appear, do you know what the requirements are?
Yup, the spawning requirement is 12 blocks of fire for cinders to spawn
Hi, the farm is working great. Excellent, clearly shown how to farm. Thank you very much. GJ 👍😀😉
tried that but they are spawning kinda slow
Ive just mad this and its working. Not too slow but also not too fast
Yup all farms have been balanced by Shivaxi to not be OP. Apart from my pigman spawner farm
I think if I tried doing the pig one my PC will blow up 🤣
A smol price to pay 😜
I wonder if you can build say 4 of these, and you stand in the middle, and rotate around killing spawns?
Should work, can be a nice little 4 unit modular setup as long as they each spawn different mobs
Does it still work or is it patched by now?
I built everything as is including the walls but the cinders stay at the back wall and only some try to escape in the intended killing zone?
Great farm thanks
