Yes, México City is interesting, eclectic, au vanguard, intimidating, mysterious, i could think of a few more words or many more! But anyway Mexico city is the shit, (and i mean that in a good way) try and go to the Anthropology Museum, the Vasconcelos library, "yup, a library, jaw dropping" the Soumaya museum with it's modern architecture, the historic Chapulin Castle, I can go on and on. CDMX might be hard to go about, but it's a great deal of beauty. I'm certain that by now you've seen how underated this city is, on the broad world spectrum. Have fun guys! Thank you for taking interest in my country. I hope that it meats your expectations.

Coyoacán (place of coyotes in nahuatl) was actually a town "outside" of what was considered Mexico City which back then was only the centro part. With time all those little towns that were close were absorbed by the city and are now districts, they have their own centro, Coyoacán, Tlalpan, San Ángel are much a like. I don't know of this helps explaining the 30 min drive from centro, it's because you're basically goingo to "another" town

The mexican federal Government doesn´t ask foreign tourists for a Vaccination proof or a health passport. You can feel relaxed because of that. Please check your country´s requirements when you enter your city local airport....greetings from Mexico City!!!
you have to wear a mask most of the time, we have no restriccions and you only need a good stomach or you can buy pepto bismol at the farmacy :) we lighten covid restrictions since today march 7th in the city so must places will be open when you come.
Every part of México regarding the pandemic will go "Green Light" from now on.. which means no restrictions nor vax or health pass is needed.. Just carry a face mask in you pocket as crowded places and public transport might require it.

What’s a good place to stay at in Mexico City. Me and my girl going to Mexico for three weeks and we don’t know where to go or stay at that’s near food vendors and stuff.
We’d definitely recommend where we stayed, which was just off a road called Lorenzo Boturini. There were lots of cheap street food vendors and cafes along that road. Also near the market called Mercado de Artesanías La Ciudadela, although that’s super central so may be expensive. Depends on your budget 🙂
You know what is interesting, I born in Mexico City, have been exploring all my life the city, but after more than 30 years exploring I am still trying to know some parts of the city, I travel a lot inside and outside the city- yet I know probably 80% of the whole city, saying this: every time you come to Mexico City you will visit different things is almost impossible to know the whole city.

I think the churros dip was not caramel but cajeta or dulce de leche. caramel is burnt sugar, cajeta is burnt goat milk and dulce de leche is burnt cow milk

Those green things in your plate were not peppers, those are Nopales. A delicious cactus we use to eat a lot in different dishes.

What’s a good place to stay at in Mexico City. Me and my girl going to Mexico for three weeks and we don’t know where to go or stay at that’s near food vendors and stuff.
We’d definitely recommend where we stayed, which was just off a road called Lorenzo Boturini. There were lots of cheap street food vendors and cafes along that road. Also near the market called Mercado de Artesanías La Ciudadela, although that’s super central so may be expensive. Depends on your budget 🙂
Nopales is a great source of fiber. Perfect when you load up on carbs and protein when eating tacos.

You know what is interesting, I born in Mexico City, have been exploring all my life the city, but after more than 30 years exploring I am still trying to know some parts of the city, I travel a lot inside and outside the city- yet I know probably 80% of the whole city, saying this: every time you come to Mexico City you will visit different things is almost impossible to know the whole city.
There is so much to do there, it’s so big!

I think the churros dip was not caramel but cajeta or dulce de leche. caramel is burnt sugar, cajeta is burnt goat milk and dulce de leche is burnt cow milk
