First heard this on a John peel session in 1990 age 15 and managed to record it on tape. Not heard this again for many many years. Like a trip back in time 💗
I am going to the James concert at the O2 (small one!) next weekend with my Gen X son. My wife (passed away now) and I last saw them over 20 years ago at the NEC. What a concert that was!
One of my favorites. Best Velvet Underground cover. Amazing how they added Velvet Underground's "Sweet Jane" and "Heroin" to "Sunday Morning". Excellent!

as cover versions go this is up there with the best of them, what a band still going strong now decades later.... James , most underrated English band of all time (imo)
The other side which pisses over the Single, they never play this kind of music now, Tim is old and can't remember the words, the song that got me into this band was a B-side called Tonight, they have never played it live, fuck um Larry Gott left for a reason and its cuz they got to pop, never no Walking the ghost, just pop SHITE
Yeah i will disagree - the Clash Coventry Tifffany's nov 1978 - as much as i like James and thought they were great live Joe strummer (rip) Mick Jones Paul Simonon Topper Headon performing White man in hammersmith palis 10 feet away from me - for a 15 year old punk in '78 well ............................
