The Apostle Paul writes about how WE believers who are watching and seeing the signs will not experience the rapture as a thief in the night.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 "But concerning the times and the season, brethren (believers), you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren (believers), are NOT in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. We don't know the day or the hour, but we are told to watch THE SIGNS so that we are prepared. So we don't let our lamps run dry. So that we don't fall asleep as we wait for the Bridegroom.

The craziest thing though is also where each eclipse ends, the 2024 eclipse for the 7 cities of Salem, meaning peace ended in a city called Fort Sumpter, Significants: where the civil war began and how Salem meaning peace is tied with that, the 2017 eclipse left the USA from a city called Saint David, Maine, Significants: David killed Goliath and did much more in the bible and the 2023 solar eclipse ends in a city called Corpus Christie, the meaning of the name is Body Of Christ, Significants: Pretty self-explanatory and the verse he says in the video is Matthew 12:39 and at 12:39 PM in 2017 the eclipse was approximately over a city called Broken Bow Nebraska, Significants: Broken Bow means to symbolize the end of hostilities among Native American tribes, again Salem, peace

Why do people think that writing in your bible makes them grow spiritually? If you are a note taker then write in a separate notebook and not on the bible. If you want to grow spiritually then take what you have read or heard of you use an audio bible in to action apply it to every day life.

Honestly.. just a few thoughts. The first map listed of the 2017 eclipse shows Salem, ND over the state of Idaho (ID). Now North Dakota has a city named Salem but it’s located 2 states away from Idaho- nowhere in the path of the eclipse. Also I looked into the maps of the cross-section of the 2 eclipses myself and the “city” of Rapture, Indiana (not actually a city) is not in the middle of the path. The 2017 eclipse didn’t even pass through Indiana. There are also other inconsistencies like the 2024 eclipse doesn’t even pass through Tennessee and various others. I understand the preacher was misled because he’s not from the United States and just assumed the other video was factual, but if you’re going to incorporate a video you watched into a sermon that’s meant to edify the body of Christ- you have to do due diligence with your own research instead of assuming. I’ve seen this video passed around through a few of my friends and while I understand the message is meant to warn, I also think it’s stirs up a lot of fear where someone decided to create their own interpretation with all these cities…
I agree, but also based on how the video he used misused scripture out of context (e.g. Exo 4:8) and made connections where there is none or with very thin evidence (like connecting 'latter' and 'ladder' just because they sound similar). I expected more from Dr. Theo since he has been in ministry for 40+ years and this is a rookie mistake. But I guess no one is totally immune from being led on a tangent and deceived by an internet video. However, when you are going to teach people based on and show a video to your congregation I expect more due diligence and double checking if the Scripture is even in context and if the facts line up (like is those cities all even in the path of totality and is the premises based on more than conjecture). Some of the general truths he taught are still valid when it is based on scripture taken in context and not on the conjectures made in the video, but they are not dependent on the eclipse, and are just general truths for us to prepare for the end times.
In 2024 there is a quote that i believe sums it up best and that is there is GODS side and there is the others side and we don't care nothing about the other side. " Kat Williams" 2024 . May it be done in the dark As it will be bought to the light in 2024

Where was the eclipse in the Bible, related to Jonas?
I think he is referring to the 'sign of the prophet Jonas'. Jonah was sent to preach to Ninevah, 'yet forty days and I will destroy' etc. No there was not an eclipse. Yes this guy is corelating the path of the eclipse to names in the path.
Do I think the Rapture is coming from this? I am hopeful, sure, but I am not stupid.
Either way, I'd be surprised if nothing at all came from this eclipse, especially when our human overlords are also freaking out about it.

If you actually look at the moon cycle, we should be getting a new moon on the 9th. How is it possible for the eclipse to both appear that day since there’s no full moon on that day and not only that, but backwards.

But let’s assume he was saying April 8th is the day of the rapture which he never says, it would still remain biblical, as it is written,
“But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that THAT DAY should overtake you as a thief.” 1 Thess 5:4
That day, is the day Christ takes his church, Paul says THAT day meaning the exact day will not catch the ready and waiting believers as a thief! Only those who view the coming of the Lord as a disruption and those not watching nor ready will be caught unawares!
“Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt NOT KNOW WHAT HOUR I will come upon thee.” Rev 3:3
There is no king but Jesus, and here we have the king of glory warning that if you’re not watching, you won’t know the hour! This presupposes that the believer who is watching and ready will know the hour!
“But know this, that if the goodman of the house had KNOWN in what watch the thief would come, HE WOULD HAVE WATCHED, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.” Matthew 24:43

What’s not clear here??? On the very day that God acts, there will be a solar eclipse!! God said!! And the scripture cannot be broken, which means u err not knowing the scriptures!
Moreover the message preached is simply that it is a sign from God! And he didn’t say, God said! As it is written,

The message preached is both a sign and warning from God! Rather God acts on this day or not, you yourself must act to repent, which based on the fruit of ur content, ur in desperate need thereof! Only the accuser comes against believers to be divisive about doing exactly what God commands us to do which is to watch, pray, be ready and warn others to flee the wrath that’s to come, all these are biblical! 1. The eclipse did not go over 7 cities named Salem in 2017. Most of the places are barely towns.
2. There are no cities named Nineveh, some are towns, some are not even towns and the eclipse only goes over 2 places named Nineveh in the USA.
I don't know if there are citadels in each of the towns, but it might be worth noting that the word city comes from citadel/cathedral. That's what a "city" was, a place where there was a citadel / cathedral. Again still might not change anything but an interesting point nonetheless.

I was with you 100% until you try to tell people they could be saved by praying in repenting of their sins. That is not how we're saved! You need to preach the blood of Jesus Christ and how he shed his blood on the cross to to be the final sacrifice for our sins. That's what we need to do is to believe the gospel! Now, i would love to believe he js right that this is a sign that the end times are fast approaching, which would mean the rapture wont be far behind, but im not sure this is it. But I could always be wrong. I just don't think this is it. Not yet, anyway.
