That was an insane quote, for the sand blasting. Jesus! This is why so many international sailors don't go to Australia.

Very informative video and having seen the process live when we were at the Boat Works with you, we can attest to the workload! Well done and looking forward to seeing the new paint job!

    Bravo à vous 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
C’est pas une partie très excitante de l’aventure, mais c’est très important, donc……..le boulot doit être fait.

Thanks for that. I am glad that you added an extra layer of epoxy after sanding. I hope I never get that much antifoul on my cat - it looks like a really nasty job.

It is! But really glad we found that solution even if it was hard work!

We have to, between the antifoul and this chemical product… it was nasty!

You guys did brilliantly! I am dreading having to do this on my boat and hopefully can delay for a few more years yet. Would you recommend Boatworks as a place to work on the boat? It's very hard to find a yard where you can do your own work. Phil

Thanks! Delaying wasn’t an option anymore for us, but for sure you shouldn’t do it too early… it’s too painful! Boatworks is a nice yard to do your own work, it’s clean and well setup. The only issue is being mindful of other people around. So use a vacuum when sanding, don’t dry sand antifoul and you can’t spray 2 pack paint unless you are in a shed.
