nick is generally a pretty serious guy with really dry humor. his jokes come off monotone and as if hes serious but thats his humor.

I'm not here to act like a total former fan girl, but I can only add in that in all the time I've been a fan of the Jonas Brothers that Nick has ALWAYS been this mature and serious. It's actually rare for me to see him doing comedic things or doing something outside of his bubble. Joe on the other hand is the goofster, and Kevin has always stood out as the quiet passive one. Maybe that's why it's hard to read them. They really do seem like they value their privacy. Even the doc between the brothers opens them up a little more as real people. We will hardly get that kind of openness because if they do open up people will always be talking about them in more ways than they do now.

Yeah Nick is just naturally serious and stuff, and PRI is more lively, but I do think they're both pretty respectful and guarded about their relationship. They share the basic and superficial stuff, but keep the deeper stuff for themselves, and I respect that, cuz so many people want to tear them apart or like find any little thing to criticize so I'm not surprised they're more guarded.

It's the same thing as vocal coach, lots of them don't really sing that well but when it comes to gives advice, analysing etc they are extremly good, same thing as when you give a good advice to your friend but you can't even give give good advice to yourself
I think it’s important to understand that when it comes to Nick, he grew up on Disney. And they always taught him to be very serious on camera. Not to answer most questions, go around things, and just not really react to things especially when it has to do with a show or movie he is doing. So, him being rather serious, to me just seems like the way Disney molded him for interviews and stuff like this.

Indian here.. we don't normally show intimacy in public... Even though we are wild inside the 4 walls.😂 So I get where Priyanka is coming from.. and about the relatable thing.. I don't know about Nick.. but Priyanka is quite relatable surprisingly.. you should see some of her interviews in India.. quite fun and shows that she does come from a middle class background in India..

I agree with the things he says and the advice he gives but I also think they are a great couple. As an Asian myself we are usually pretty private about our relationship and PDA is not something we do a lot and Nick himself is a super serious and private person so it's hard to see their chemistry in interviews but I truly feel they adore and respect eachother and both of those are very important characteristics needed for a long and happy relationship.

Everyone single person on this planet, is different. It doesn't matter whether you're both Asians or not you'll never have the same personality or mannerisms.
In my opinion, having been in the entertainment business for so long and having strived hard to be where she is now, Priyanka has forgotten how to show vulnerability. She is afraid of being perceived as weak, hence this perfectly curated persona. We don't get to see signs of her genuine emotions, nor of Nick's, but I think/hope they get to see and know more of each other in their personal lives.
You hit the nail on the head. Yes everyone keeps saying she’s cringe and fake, but this is what’s behind it. Fear to be emotionally vulnerable and authentic. Fear that people in this culture (or world) won’t accept her, so she puts on this tough narcissistic bragging big momma persona that even completely lacks femininity (that she had in her Indian persona). It’s sad. Nick just looks irritated with her most of the time but he has to put up with this large, domineering, loud obnoxious character all the time. It’s too overbearing for him.
That was my honest assessment of what I think Nick thinks of Priyanka. He is not even one bit attracted to her. There is zero chemistry and no connection between the two except an arranged marriage. 😂

Yeah she was the It Girl in Hollywood when they got married until she was called out for being a hypocrite; supporting India bombing Pakistan as a UN ambassador for peace. She shouldn’t have accepted the position knowing her previous stances but she wanted praise and more good publicity. She was super rude to the woman calling her out, telling her not to yell after they took the mic away when she was just asking how she can accept the position after supporting nuclear war.
@@teresa3940 Both India and Pakistan cannot afford war. They are poor countries with a truckload of problems. The Indian army targeted terrorist training camps in Pakistan, after a dastardly attack on Indian armed forces on Indian soil, so that full on war could be avoided. A lot many Indians , ordinary citizens, Bollywood celebrities ,tweeted in support of the Indian Army , because we were glad that war was thwarted. Priyanka also tweeted in support of the Indian army.That is definitely not supporting nuclear war.

It doesn't matter what people think about them and their relationship. Nobody can read or judge anyone's relationship just by watching 1min video specially when you don't even know personally them. Some negative people always find negativity with many doubts while positive people focus more on positivity. It doesn't matter some people doubt on their relationship or can't digest their relationship The fact that like any normal other couples, they are already legally married couple who loves each other, they have mutual respect for each other and happily living together. If somebody believe them or not, they don't have to prove or don't need to impress anyone to make believe if they are really in love or not 🤷

I think you should've seen Nick performing when priyanka is in the audience, or other Instagram stories and stuff, their little interactions are adorable. They are pretty serious in interviews.
Oh just read Priyanka's memoir, the chapter dedicated to their relationship, you get ALL the details there. Their story is so sweet, but they are both very private people.
Private couples don't post pics all over their Instagram or do interviews together.
Private relationship is just like Taylor swift and Joe alwyn, Ryan gosling and EVA Mendes...ect

The interview was for her book, and funny enough, they didn't tell us anything we don't already know. Most of what they say about each other are one liners cuz you'll know only what they want you to.
@@mrsbarleysomebody8773 EVERYONE posts milestones about their lives, cute pics with their spouse but there is more to people and depth to relationships beyond what you see in the pictures. You don't know what they are going through, posting pictures doesn't make them any less private. They aren't vlogging their lives, they don't like to show it all to the world, the deeper personal details and struggles, that's the sole reason Nick and Joe HATED being on Kevin's reality show "Married to Jonas".

i dont know about nick. but priyanka eventhough she has been miss world and acted more than 50 movies over 20 years is first and foremost an INDIAN! and in india, we do not display affection in public, its like in our inbuilt system. i am here in brussels and my boyfriend is from here and when he hugs or kisses me in public, i get so shy and i am not a shy person at all and tbh wild inside 4 walls with him but in public, i am all ladylike and it is how it is! like i said, it is in inbuilt system! like our husband or bf or our partner we take em too seriously tbh and public display of affection is just no in our system\
You should've watched their Instagram post videos and stories and ig lives. They're much more relaxed, adorable and that's how they normally are. Plus, Nick is an extremely private person but he's Hella romantic and is very much into grand romantic gestures. Ranging from dropping down to his knees in awe of her when he first met her, buying a Tiffany's for her etc etc. He just doesn't show that publicly.
I feel like they are both so in tune with their true selves and have overcome their coping mechanisms which other celebrities rely on when doing interviews in the public eye (like joking when nervous or over sharing etc). Either they’ve had a lot of therapy and decided to be that way as a sign of security in themselves or they genuinely do not want to reveal much about their relationship. Either way they seem pretty contempt with each other and I appreciate that.
I live with my boyfriend and we don't be intimate infront friends like we really do when we're home. We're both kind of shy but it doesn't mean we don't laugh, talk or be a little flirty now and then. I just don't know how to explain it

That's exactly what happened. They first met at the after party, but didnt really get to spend time with each other. Then he slid into her DMs and that's when things actually began.
A friend said they should meet, he DM’d her. They finally met at the oscars party, hence why he got down on one knee and said “where have you been all my life”, convinced her to have a drink. They went their separate ways then went to the met gala, and then went on their first date after that I think. Saw it all in an article somewhere, it’s all very confusing. 😂

So Nick apparently had crush on Priyanka (he says even remembers watching her win Miss World) and one of his friends knew her and said he'll introduce her to him but didn't so he apparently slid into DMs and they began a flirty friendship. He then physically met her the 1st time at the oscar after party (he admits he was kind of tipsy which his brother said he was definitely) and pretty much ask her out. They went to Met Gala 2017 as friends together and then went on "date" where he met her mom but he kind of accidentally friendzoned her cause instead of kissing her, he gave her pat on the back (he said he was trying to be respectful cause her mom was there) but it confused her though. So apparently they both get busy and fall out of touch but see each other again at Met Gala 2018 and then began seriously dating. That's more of story from Vogue article for their wedding of their relationship.

I personally don't know much about Nick but I have been a fan of priyanka since forever and I thing that I have noticed about her is that she is a very private person she doesn't like to share that much of her personal life details in the media also what I have noticed is that after she got married she started chilling a little bit and being a little more fun and goofy so that's why you will see more of her giggling and smiling because she is enjoying her married life ❤️ and I don't think you can judge a relation by just watching them on screen I love them both and I hope their marriage lasts forever ♾️❤️
As an Indian, I have followed priyanka since she came so she has always been a little miss show off but also very private about relationships she never admitted any relationship ever till marriage. I have also known Nick since Disney and he is the serious one. Together they have hot chemistry which is visible in the wedding vedios they are into each other. But on camera pc is more bubble and Nick is quite. I think they are a great couple that would last. They compliment each other. Its pc who likes to show off the love ❤

It’s happens but most young adults don’t want to be tied down so it’s fwb or friend zoned until your 30s basically. That’s the culture we curated, either date older or wait until your generation settles down.

It all depends if the attraction is there cuz u can’t force it..: u can nurture it but can’t force energy that isn’t there... I started out friends with my fiancé, best friends, but the attraction was always there we just didn’t get together as a couple for other life reasons at the time but we knew everything about each other, laughed so hard together, had so much fun and felt like we knew eachother from another life- the first day we met we ended up lying on the floor laughing for hours...
basically what I mean is if the energy is there, it’s there, and if it isn’t it isn’t!
As a Nick fan girl, Nick is just very reserved which comes off as serious. His humor is very dry and consists of fancy seeming words which is part of the reason why I personally think it’s funny. I for sure definitely feel like he loves priyanka, it’s just that he expresses his love in private and shows his love by being respectful

This was a real superficial take and in some parts completely misleading. They met in person first at the after party but had been texting earlier. They had a whole other separate date because meeting and dating are not the same thing.
For a relationship expert, you seem to miss so much context and reading between the lines and subtext. After the newlywed game when they high fived, Nick pulled Priyanka’s chair to him and said see this was not bad or something to that effect. It was clear that Priyanka had some anxiety. Priyanka has been private about her personal life so now when she’s talking publicly she is still guarded. It’s not automatically some indication of their actual relationship behind closed doors. You missed tons of cultural cues.

I watched the clip being analysed here, him interviewing her on her memoirs.Serious or not , he came across as a person proud of her achievements. Anthony Recenello I believe that relationship is solid and passionate behind closed doors. Although Priyanka has been in the public for several years she is shy and also restrained when sharing her most intimate information because of her culture and background. Nick is aloof , thats his character but I see the hidden passion in him which only gets to be experienced by those he is very close to..I have no doubt that their relationship is deep.
I think it made sense for Nick to like someone older being he is mature and serious. Age is important but it's not everything. I feel they have a good balance.

Overall, Nick tries super hard to be an adult and perfect. And that’s really annoying. There is NO need to be like this, he needs to loosen up!
Nick jonas was definitely very smitten with Priyanka and this is the honeymoon phase so he is essentially very happy with her and vice versa. A very lucky couple who genuinely love each other. Is so rare to see. And is so nice to see this. Most couples are not so lucky and bicker. They have utmost respect for each other.

I have to disagree about expressing attaction as soon as you feel it. I was immediately attracted to my husband--- both physically and his personality... but I learned he was younger than me and that made me nevous especially considering the age he was (20) and my previous relationship the guy being so immature.
Also he had determined not to date for a year and had all these girls interested in him (which I learned later)... so I prob would have scared him off if I bluntly expressed interest/attraction.
Though... apparently I was actually making it very clear I was interested in him... because he told me later that before he asked me out he told his mom he was prob going to marry me... and she asked if I'd told him I even liked him and he said "No, but I can tell she does."
Talk about bold 😅.
Anyway--- we've been married almost 11 years now and have 4 children earthside. He's amazing.

I’ve seen short snippets of them together. I think they really love each other and there is chemistry. She’s an extrovert and he’s an introvert. I personally don’t gravitate to priyanka. I get the sense she’s not as easy going as she tries to convey online, but I think her and Nick probably work well together nonetheless. It wouldn’t be a match I would think of working but I think it does.

I'm sorry I just never saw any real connection between these two, nothing intimate . At least not from his side, it seems as though she was the one who was more eager for this relationship.
