Wicked Wisdom sounds like Jinjer if they were a local band. Although that led to Will Smith joining Bury Your Dead on stage at Ozzfest so that was pretty cool.
The one thing celebs have going for them when picking up music careers is a lot more connections and financial backing, as well as some brand recognition. The downside is they are subject to a lot more criticism than the average new artist.
Brittany Murphy turned out to be an amazing singer. Had it not been for her untimely death, I think she would have been incredibly successful in that field as well

Aaaand there it is. 7:57. Finn finally went full Quentin Tarantino. Also, anyone over like 35 has seen _more than enough_ of Paris. I mean, she had those couple of videos..
I remember winning a giveaway from the dance music radio station in high school and they included in the prize mailer a CD that had Stars Are Blind and 5 remixes of it. I remember just thinking, "why would they bother to spend the postage to send this to me to throw away?"
Fun fact, shaq could have signed both the backstreet boys and nsync. On his label. Somehow, they got together, and they reached out, and he thought there wasn't a future in their sound. He said it's one of his biggest regrets. Learned this on his hot ones interview.
Wow, had no idea about those Wahlberg arrests. I have legitimately enjoyed him in a few movies, but what a dick. Thanks for pointing that out, he just got a ban from me.
Shaq is great! I think he was going and moving towards to being a DJ’s and music song/writer back in the day. Until well, his basketball career blow off. Now he is a DJ for EDM 🤩 And he is killing it. That man deserves to have fun and continue his music saga.
shaq is still pretty built i bet he could still body 90% of all current nba centers right now! also the man is a national treasure legitimately one of our finest examples of an american and a genuinely real person.
Same. 05 was a sick year. I heard Trivium and Black Dahlia Murder for the first time on second stage, and they're still two of my favorite bands today. Also main stage had Maiden that year. Fuckin killswitch, mastodon, and as I lay dying were also all on second stage. Damn that was a good year.
Kind of shows off the pretentious snob in me for liking this band, but I cannot believe Omar from the Mars Volta thought that Thomas Pridgen, who was in Wicked Wisdom immediately before, was a good enough candidate for a replacement drummer. Glad he moved on to bigger and better things that showed off his versatility. All love, but he was never a good fit, especially live (although I think his overplaying was intentional on Omar's part).

Meh…whalberg was a punk kid. He turned his life around and decided to make something of his life. I say good for him. People can change and so long as they make amends for the past and commit themselves to doing better, we can forgive
Bobby Feeno was pretty damn good too, prior running back for the houston Texans Arian Foster is his real name. Solid rap career after being a top tier running back
I saw Wicked Wisdom open for Sevendust and Nonpoint in Atlanta. We had no idea who they were. My buddy kept saying that the vocalist looked like Jada. We laughed it off until we googled the linup and was floored that it was her 😅

I saw Wicked Wisdom at ozzfest and it was so weird seeing Will Smith there 😂
Paris Hilton plays her public persona just like Fred Durst does in Limp Bizkit. They nailed their craft and got rich off of it.
Exactly what came to my mind too. She played us just like Fred. Very interesting.

Shaq Diesel is a certified hood classic.
If only we knew back then, that American History X was actually just a Mark Wahlberg biopic 😂
In 2006, Paris Hilton released the reggae masterpiece "Stars Are Blind". The genre has been downhill ever since.
Little did we know at that time that Stars are indeed blind. You know, as they don't have eyes?

I can't believe I thought Jada was a good performer back then, also Mark Wahlberg's on the wild side is probably the funniest rap song I've ever heard

Stars Are Blind is unironically a fire ass song. I still listen to it, regularly.
It is objectively and subjectively a bad song.
David Spade and Adam Duritz (Counting Crows) might have better resumes, at least for us 40+ people.

Is it a Finn Mckenty video if it doesn't have Andy Biersack popping in saying "Here's The Thing!"???

I actually turned "Stars Are Blind" into a Pop Punk song haha. Guilty pleasure for sure
You missed John Mayer. Dudes has a stacked hit list of exes.
Jeter probably has the goat list
Also Derek Jeter
Eddie Murphy's "Party All The Time" comes to mind. I actually thought it was pretty cool and could easily make the GTA 6 soundtrack
Can you do this with ‘70’s/80’s Celebrities?
Maybe even go international with a few if you know their acting work.
The first segment is what it sounds like when you don’t know what you’re talking about.
We all owe Shaq an apology for not being familiar with his game

Idk… I still catch myself singing stars are blind sometimes. She sounded like Gwen
8:36 I have a vanity plate on all 3 of my cars and my motorcycle… how much of an asshole does that make me? 😂😂
Regarding Hollywood, keep in mind these people also have defended (at some points legally) Roman Polanski, Victor Salva, and Bryan Singer.
Need any updated list with Tom Hardy's raps.
“Nothing In This World” is a great tune by Hilton. Will let that one play whenever it pops up on the shuffle
Shaq O'Neal song is a great version of performing hip-hop and debuting in the late 90s
