Thank you for posting thing. Bam is still an icon. His story is heartbreaking but I can see a redemption coming his way be it in skating, content creation, or music. Good vibes Bam's way. Thanks again for posting this it paints him in a way better light than most shit lately.

Listening to Bam’s stories soothes my ADHD brain somehow. 😆❤ I’m happy to see him doing well. I hope he gets to have a relationship with his son again in the near future. I wish people would be kind and considerate when making comments and harsh judgments. Addiction is horrible and can happen anytime to any one of us.

Bam is looking and sounding a lot better. I get the distortion due to mental illness and some times things get told on a loop but he's getting clean.

Same... & he did direct a lot a stuff but those were his only 2 released, real movies that had storyline with characters. [I thought he had 3 but I guess my memory is wrong.]

Man this is such a great interview, I love the interviewer, she is such a professional. Asking some good questions and then letting Bam respond in full detail without interrupting him at all until he is thru is a breath of fresh air and long lost dead skill. Bam is absolutely hilarious as usual.
Its the best something like Piersr Morgan or actually Tucker Carlson does.

I’ve watched hundreds of hours of bam I don’t think he’s on anything here, he is mentally ill. He’s looking the best he has in past 8 years, he tells his stories that often they repeat massively and if any lies he tells them so much he believes them.
How can you tell he looks good when hes wearing dark shades indoors? He's definitely ill and not sober. He mentioned in the interview hes now smoking weed, when before he claimed he hated weed. That's exactly what he would say regarding beer while he was a full blown alcoholic. The guy is full of shit. He's a manic bipolar but in this video he says he doesnt need medication, while acting like a young Don Vito.

It's not only addiction issues but also mental health and long term behavioral problems. If you've ever dealt with guys like him it is exhausting. They live in constant chaos. His brain is just so off after all of these years. Good luck to him.
I have a friend whose brain is like this after a car accident. They just dont stop all day long and hardly sleep. Until they have huuuge breakdowns. Bams racked his head at least 100 times.

I worked in a rehab for 10 years, and have been an addict myself, yeah you got it spot on. People get more addicted to chaos and drama than the drugs and drink. And lying of course. Hopefully Bam finds his way, coz he's clearly very unhappy atm, and there is no way on God's earth he can carry on skating atm, not like he thinks anyway, even if sober.

Bam looks & sounds great here! I don't think people fully understand how much credit Bam deserves for being the original one to film more than just their skateboarding. He realized those funny moments that would usually not get recorded were actually more entertaining than whatever they were originally going to film. Obviously those CKY videos were the origin of concept for not only Jack**s, but you could essentially argue even the birth of things like TH-cam.
I have 1 Heartagram tattoo. Of a design I drew in middle school. Keep in mind I’m 35 and I only got the tattoo on my 31st birthday on my ribs. I’ve checked an image search and it’s completely my design only.

I just had to say a prayer for Bamm. I prayed that God helps him recover and to stay away from addictive drugs. I'm not sure if he is truly sober here. I'm not convinced.
what Bam has, can't be reformed or modified; it has to be cast out. I guess that is all i'll say.
He is, he's just mentally ill and has ADHD/ADD which can make it hard to stay on track in conversation. From what I know he isn't on medication for it like he used to be, so the difference may be from that.
I'm an ex addict, and no way he's sober, and no way he's taking getting sober/clean serious. People change a LOT in recovery. Bam seems to refuse to.

The problem with Bam is that every time he attempts to make a change, its always based on an antidote or someone he met or something he wants to get back to doing. Its never "this is the person i want to be." In the above, the first thing he said was "i was going to a hotel on the Sunset strip to take drugs and die BUT i met a girl instead so i changed my plans." That isn't much of a base to hold on to the first time real problems hit that relationship. His plans changes and he has made a few modifications but has BAM changed?
All the fans are always talking about "if he could just get back to skating...." That isn't enough. Bam needs to figure out that he wants to be a certain kind of person - all the time - no matter what happens in his life - his character doesn't change.
Until then, he will struggle.

He's right about social media. I haven't had a phone since I sold weed 10 years ago. I go to a Korn/Evanescence concert and I'm 99% sure I heard a guy behind me yell for me to stop clapping. How Bam was pissed af saying "this better not be a f'kn intervention" and how Dunn had a one on one talk with Bam trying to convince him to go to his first rehab. Also Bam's credits are greatly reduced on his IMDB after 2006 because as Bam himself has put it, he was on "booger sugar"

I agree. There are lots of mean-spirited people coming at him. Bam's always talked like this even before he started drinking. I was there at the convention, and trust me, he didn't seem drunk or on anything. He seemed to legitimately be doing well.

I think others appreciate it as well but it is hard to believe he is 100% sober the way he keeps talking about drugs and even took that gift of a shirt. He should have rejected that shirt / gift because it is drug related IF that part of his life is REALLY over. The gift was a trick to see what he would do. By accepting that drug shirt and making jokes about drugs, it shows he is not serious. 2 months is a long time but it also is a very short time to be sober. I don't know how old you are but do you recall the Howard Stern interview of Dana Plato? She claims she was sober on air and everyone wanted her to prove it. They ran out and got a drug test and she refused to "prove it". The next day she took her own life. Take a look at Matthew Perry, he was a big star making a million dollars per week and going to some real estate open houses to steal pills from peoples bathrooms. Drug uses are almost never honest. Drugs are more important to them than oxygen, food, or their family. Every time a drug user dies they always claim they were sober before they died. They almost always die around 50 years old (plus or minute a few years). The body can only take so much abuse. If he is not 100% clean by 45 odds are he won't make it to 50.
Also his unfiltered mouth talking about things like sleeping with 88 girls and the stuff he said about Pink and so on is not really appropriate for a father. Does he really need to talk about that stuff at this age? Drug users mental development stop at the age they start using drugs. So if he started doing hard drugs at 16 his mind will be stuck at 16 years old for the most part. That is why drug users often never "grow up" until the 100% stop using drugs. He did not say one thing in that interview that a "normal" 44 year old would say. At 44 skating should not be important and his kid and being sober should be a priority.
