This was a real treat to watch. Very interesting, and super well edited too. I can tell this one took quite a while to make! I actually learned a few things from this video, which isn't something I say often about Garou lol. I've always been a little on the fence about the usage of those charged moves, but I think i've changed my mind. They're safer than I thought they were, at least when spaced. The knockdown is something I hadn't considered too much previously, but that meaty cross up on Kosenkyaku is pretty dirty, even by Garou standards lol! I think those moves are just harder and more awkward to implement properly into normal gameplay than most other techniques in the game since the way the move works is so different from everything else, which probably explains why many players never give those two moves a chance. Super glad you made this video! Keep it up man.
really sick vid! a lot of great key points about general fighting game strategy philosophy as well. professional editing and art assets too! I'm still not gonna use the C charge though
Your blue nocturne video showed up in my recommended and I really loved it! This one is also great! Such great editing coupled with alot of useful information about the character! When I first played Garou I actually chose Marco because he was a shoto and I thought he would be simple. Well it is similar to kof in the regard that learning the system is primary and characters are secondary. I really loved the game, but I haven't played Fightcade for about a year at this point. Maybe it would be nice to come back at some point. Thank you for the videos!
@@Dagger_G I definitely do! My favorite video game genre up there with CRPGs! But they are incomparable for me. I'm just not that good at them in general. But I appreciate that you tell people to play characters that are the most likeable for them. I myself love characters who are fun to play and as such I don't mind a character that's bad in comparison to others.
Glad you liked it! That palmod is Herbderken's with some modifications. It's actually 3 different palmods stacked on top of each other haha. You should see my messed up Elena and Akuma stages lol
@@Dagger_G also nice marco's usage of hold moves i have watched your games you do use them quite a bit (well any use is big use since they are hardly used) i do remember reading on shoryuken wiki that there are two ways to play marco one in which you center most of your gameplan around this hold thing and one regular rushdown bam ham, but after watching other players and match videos it seems marco is usually played the obvious way rush down that employs linking into breaks+followup. In your opinion are these hold moves useful? Or just occasional gimmicks?
@@101graffhead Hmm. I think the best way to play would be a mix between the two. You don't have to base your whole gameplan around it (even though I do it often for whatever reason lol). But just showing your opponent that it's a threat automatically increases mental load even if you decide to not use it very often. The point of the video is to explore the full potential of the game. It's simple. Would you rather have the knowledge and capability to explore all options with your character, or not?
This is game is too hard to master, honestly. It has some of the most intricate mechanics that are not easy to get used to like guard cancels, faints and all that stuff. Is amazing.
As much as I walk the streets, I am a wild wolf at heart.
Like the game this video is about, a lot of work was put into it and it deserves more attention
Thank you for the kind words!
Brilliant editing with so much comedy intertwined, I'm in love with the way you direct videos.
Thank you for the kind words! I'm usually hesitant with the jokes so I'm glad at least some of them land haha!

Easy to learn, hard to master! It might seem daunting but once you get started it's very intuitive.
Thank you Kanye, very cool!
Thanks buddy!
Nice video!
Great vid!🎉
Ayo what's the intro banger
That's a banger? Why thank you! It's a remix of Marco's theme that I did special for this video!
