I just got a Dream ‘65 and can’t stop playing it. It’s been my favorite experience with modeling compared to Helix, HX Stomp and Kemper. It’s crazy how good it sounds. Maybe those others are capable but I could never find the right sounds in them.
I'm really sorry to leave a random comment/question like this, but I have this pedal and want to run it into two Fender FR-12 cabs in stereo. Fender told me that I can't just run the UAFX into these cabs directly and will need all kinds of cables and preamps into order to get the signal to line level. I have sent emails to UA and Fender and left forum posts on TGP and I cannot get a simple answer on what I need to buy or use to make this work. I really want to use the UAFX as my main rig component because I have some volume sensitive situations at home, but I don't know what to do!
My friend just bought a dream 65 and a fender FRFR and it’s loud. For sure though, you need to dime the output of the pedal to get full volume of the cab.
All you have to do is run it through the effects loop of any amp. Or two amps Then you get to run it through the power tubes, bypassing the pre amp. It's gold. Try it
The recordings were made at a fairly high volume and I think that this setup with a real guitar speaker sounds most authentic this way. For quiet playing at home, I would probably prefer the cab sim from the pedal in combination with studio monitors. Cheers, Michael

@@eriksantana7249 thanks. Is he using a DI box or anything like that??
Get a Pinstripe Diso (or 2, if it’s not designed for two cabs). Guitar in, balanced out. I think that will do it.

Beautiful tone, did you turn off the cab in the ua dream in all the different parts of this demo, or was it on?
@@hashemamer8515 Thank you! The cab sim was deactivated in all examples.
Will you please let me know if the Dream sounds better through the real cab vs studio monitors. Thanks.(from a low volume, bedroom player)

@@guitarbehm Thanks for the quick response. I think I'll try monitors. I have subscribed.
