YM2000 Seat Modification

This video shows what I did to replace/modify the seat on the Yanmar YM 2000 tractor. The spring modification makes the tractor much more comfortable to run for long periods of time. The draft control lever tension bolt had to be modified so it would not hit the the new seat. These mods were cheap and easy and make a great tractor just a little better.

Nice setup! I just bought one of these tractors YM2000
I’m going to have to work on the lift lever it has no bracket so it won’t stay up unless I hold it so the brush cutter just drops.
