Freaking love your videos and you've helped me out so much with my AX8. Thank you for taking the time and saving me for loads of headaches. And your playing is awesome too!
They're definitely the best reverb blocks. If you haven't tried it, sticking a formant block in front of the Deep Space reverb is amazing for ambient or a 'parallel' pad sound (mix it high and run a volume block after it) great for pads behind lead lines etc.
Run a second input direct into a comp set to really sustain, some kind of mod (I like either rotary, chorus or phase), add a multi-delay block, then stick a formant block (set the vowel to whatever combination you want, I tend to use Ahh, Oooh, Ahh) running into the deep space. finish with a volume block mapped to exp controller and run it into the main signal line AFTER the cab. If you're running 2 x exp pedals, you can put one after the cab block on the main line and fade out your 'amp' signal and just use the pad. Instant pads without keys. If you run the parallel line back in towards the end of the chain, you can still run a delay block on the main guitar sound. Let me know how and I'll shoot you a couple of examples :)
Check your input pad, the higher you have it set the higher the noise floor. Run it as low as you can, its ok to just "kiss the red" occasionally on input meter.
I love multidelays, the great sound

Deep Space & south church is dreamy, you have excellent taste sir !! Bravo
I'm not much of a metal guy and don't always appreciate metal tones. But I really dig your style, you have a great ear for tone. Great videos!
Another lucid and helpful vid, thank you Brother Leon...
Thanks Lawrence

Tell me more! That sounds amazing.

My fav is Rich Hall, I've not been impressed with the springs but I'll try in front to the amp like you did. cheers
It makes a difference for sure; I'm not a huge spring reverb fan in general though.
Tasty as always Leon...thanks!!
10 seconds in...'like'.
I got the AX8 and for some reason I keep hearing a hiss. Then again I hear the same hiss here. I'm beginning to think this is normal Fractal hiss?

Nice, Thanks Leon : )
What’s a good balance between the mix and the time settings when it comes to the FAS reverbs ?
