Wharfedale Diamond12.2 : test

Went to the Hifi Tower showroom for an audition of this speakers. It sounded awesome, the speakers delivered the sound quality of at least three times more than its price. The demo was paired with Audiolab 6000A and speaker cable was Atlas Equator 2.0. Ended up buying it and ready to pair it with my Cambridge AXA81.

i wonder how does it compare with old 225?

i first have the 225 and I dont like them (to dark sound) then i bye 12,2 and i was wery suprised, much better speaker

I had the 225. Gave it away to a non audiophile.
Have the 12.3.
It's no surprise that the 200 series and the 12 series should sound different. The former was probably designed by Peter Comeau while the latter by Karl Heinz Fink.
