      It's that Poisen Spyder was a tough get ready trail for Golden Spike. No joke of a trail.

    Ran this trail our last day in Moab in a stock Gladiator Rubicon. Didn't have time to run the whole trail but turned around where the loop started. After watching this video, pretty glad we did. Hate to bang up the new Jeep too soon.

    We did Poison Spider Sept 2018 in a stock JLUR. We plan on doing it again in the future with lift and bigger tires to compare the difference. It is one of my favorite trails so far around Moab. Some of the harder ones I will probably never do.

    That was such an awesome day! We were in the red TJ rubicon with the windshield banner. Great to meet you guys and get to tag along with everyone on the trail! There’s a clip on my Instagram (@jrvasser) of me coming up the “required waterfall” that day and I was up on the back axle only for a split second ( spotter was not from our group but got me up it anyway). Such an awesome day!

      We took that jeep from the dealer, home and put it on the trailer, straight to Moab. We pulled up to the trailhead of PS and the jeep had 11 miles on it... The only way to break in a new vehicle.

    Jeep Safari is doing a run here and actually wants everyone to run standard air pressure. Does that make sense here?

    • @Trailsoffroad
      @Trailsoffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Standard air pressure? Like street pressure? I can't think of a scenario where you'd want to run street pressure off-roading... but some people do it!

    Great video glad to see a stock jeep make it but the audio is horrible I would suggest a piece of foam over the mic to dampen the wind noise. The wind noise makes it difficult to watch these videos

    • @Trailsoffroad
      @Trailsoffroad  ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah, this is one of our older videos. We were still learning back then. Have you done this trail?

      Yeah actually my son and I did it the two days after watching. I was in my JLUR 2.5 Mopar lift on 35's and my son in his JT sport on 35's he had a few more scrapes underneath than I did but it's an awesome trail. I do like your videos and showing stockers can make most of the trails!

    I Loved this video A LOT❕ I prefer the 0lder Jeep Models and the CJ-5's over these Newer Plastic Jeep's the last one I had was a '77 CJ-5 and I shore miss it. We used to buy alot of the WWII jeeps in crates and put them together and they were Billy Goats at crawling up ledges and such. I wish I could still buy those ol' Willey's New from a Army Surplus. 🧡 Your Channel.....

    Is there a guesstimated trail rating for if you bypassed all the difficult obstacles that can be bypassed?

    • @Trailsoffroad
      @Trailsoffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That would be the low number on all of our trail guides. The low number is mandatory and the high number includes the optional obstacles. Have fun out there!

      Throw a lunch box locker in the front and back with the warn lock out hubs ($300). For total of $1000 in parts it would be locked front and back with selectable front hubs. Pretty much bolt on.

    "Stock vehicle"....well, it's a Rubicon. So it has 4:10, electronic lockers both front and rear, electronic sway bar disconnects and a 4:1 transfer case. Not what a "stock" Jeep comes with. But, what the hell....I'm game

    • @Trailsoffroad
      @Trailsoffroad  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I hear what you are thinking. To be honest, the only thing she used of that list was the sway bar disconnect. We took my (Josh) open / open TJ through it a few years back and did a majority of the hard obstacles. The big thing is disconnecting the sway bar and lowering the tire pressure and it really makes this trail pretty doable.

    • @MrSmith-nu7qf
      @MrSmith-nu7qf 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      So, everything except the lockers you mean...Don't get me wrong, I enjoy your vids and I am a new member of the Jeep clan (just bought an 07 JK Sahara 2 dr). I'm looking for realistic 4x4 trails, until I can afford lockers and all the good stuff. Anyway, keep up the good work. Looking forward to watching more of your vids.
