I am Swiss and when I was about 6 I wanted to start playing the drums. My mom took me to an "instrument expert" and after a talk, he suggested I should give the panflute a go. I went to a very strict Romanian teacher and I have to say, I never found the passion for it. After about 1.5 years of lessons, I finally convinced my parents that I needed to quit. Later I heard that my teacher was extremely upset about my quitting, he said I was the most talented student he ever had (I never felt that myself). I think it's a really beautiful instrument, and I am very impressed if I see talent like you, but it was not for me.
That's fair. No one should feel pressured to play an instrument, especially not children by their parents/other adults/instructors. Too many parents put pressure on their children hoping they will become a music progeny - in reality, it is done to please their egos and not based on true passion, making the experience forced and inauthentic. Sometimes they also want their children to perform to entertain them, but that is not a healthy dynamic either. I am glad you chose authenticity first and developed your own sense of identity rather than someone else's projection onto you.
I really hope you start to upload more frequently. Ive had a panflute for a month now and its an instrument i dont regret getting. Thank you for the video and can't wait for the next one
How do you properly hold the panflute? Also curious how you properly blow from your lungs. Last question is how do you jump from a pipe to another pipe that are not next to each other without blowing the pipes in between? Do you hold your breath or block the air with your tongue? I would be interested in other videos on these topics. Thanks!
I have to I bought from a website in South America a pan flute and a zampona ,but unfortunately don’t know how to play ,from the woodwind instrument for me is the most beautiful sound there is ,peaceful and calm

More information about how to do sharps and flats would be useful. Your fast chromatic scale was impressive. You seem to use hand vibrato. Is that preferred over jaw vibrato, stomach vibrato or lip vibrato that we often prefer on brass instruments?
Bravo Adriana! Ceva mai mult despre Nai:: există şi în Turcia şi e numit mîsîkar[mısıkâr]. Hi,thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, you are very kind , I want to ask you how I can get a professional Pan Flute and how much does it cost?
I am a guitar player who recently took up a penny whistle. Now, I am interested in getting a good pan flute. Do you have any recommendations? I would like to buy a decent one. Maybe even a professional level instrument. If it isn't too expensive. Thank you for the video.
Hello very good artist. I've been following you for a while. Could you send me a link where I can buy a flute like the one you use in the video, or even a lower model? Thank you very much. Good music and career
Hi @Adriana Babin, I like your video. I have just bought some curved bamboo panpipes The label says 'Tumi'. They are from Equador. They were £20 or so. I can make different notes, but i have to take a new breath for each note. What,am I doing wrong please? I do have Asthma but I can play a descant recorder fine, so thought that I would have enough breath for panpipes, but it seems I haven't. Are better quality ones easier to play?
Hi dear! I’m almost sure the problem is in the Panflute. The cheapest beginner Panflute costs from 100€ and up. If you want you can book a lesson with me and we’ll figure out if there’s anything possible to be played at your Panflute or not but most likely you can not. How many pipes is your Panflute?
I would love to visit Moldova some time in the future, but it's not possible for me at the moment. It's a shame we are so far away from each other. - Sue.
Cool vid! So since you call yours a regular one what would be the difference in the others that specify keys? Like I found One vid specifies (key of c) that I enjoy for my child but am trying to figure out how to get her the One she wants 🤷♂️
Gorgeous instrument and it's got such a range too. Sometimes it sounds like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, old Celtic music, or even Caribbean. Speaking of Caribbean, which Panpipe / Panflute is best for the darker Pirates of the Caribbean? Like this th-cam.com/video/IYBQpFAUnXA/w-d-xo.html 🤔 That's a cool trick about the water on the spoon too, thank you.
She sure is, which makes it hard to concentrate on the panflute subject. The subtitles are a disaster though: they'd teach you how to play the pamphlet :-O
Citiți toate comentariile ce le am lăsat ca să vedeți cât de vechi e naiul. Pan era un satir, jumătate om jumătate țap.
