Awesome review. I had no idea you were colorblind! I can only imagine how games like this that are insanely colorful like this one look to you. I always love finding games that have options for colorblind players or ones that have options for dyslexia. It makes me proud to know games devs are wanting to cater to everyone!
I imported rock n roll and absolutely loved it. So much so that I ordered the special edition physical from one of the limited run type websites and will be picking this up when it comes out digitally because, ya know, getting up to swap out game cards requires a lot of effort...
I got the physical from Japan, but am waiting for a sale on the US version digitally. My copy of Same!Same!Same! for PS4 just arrived, so I'll be working on that first.

These games are intense for a cutsie game. I remember playing them at a import arcade that had international games. Almost like a bullethell game but not as hardcore.

Thank you. This is it. Anime tits, screeching voices and hangover inducing colour assaults are where I draw my line. Cooton Candy? Or amusement park vomit?

This game reminds me of Parodius which I had on the Super Nintendo many moons ago. So for that reason alone, I’m gonna have to bag this one!
I've always loved the Cotton games and it's great to see more worldwide recognition of it over just Japanese only, helps us slowly get more releases.

Shumps are not my thing but it is nice to see nice options in a very niche genre.
It has a Gigawing shield mechanic. Nice.

Umihara Kawase and Cotton seem to crossover alot.

I loves shmups and it looks like this is a worthy addition to catalogue, Gona order the physical now.
This one ended up being even better than Reboot, great for SHMUP fans
