I recently became a member of the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face of Jesus as well as being a Benedictine Oblate. I learned about the Holy Man of Tours. I think while the Holy Face devotion seemed to be dormant for several years, we are certainly being called now to take it up again and very fervently. God bless you and your family! I cannot listen in when you go live, because I assist a disabled person every day about that time. But I will listen to the recordings later. I used to pray the short chaplet printed on the leaflet that comes with the Holy Face medal, and St. Thérèse's prayer. I have been hoping to find a group that is praying for many of the very intentions you named!
Thank you for this interview. It has inspired me to read the books The Holy Man of Tours and The Golden Arrow. That resulted in my registration in the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face.
I read the book of his life. He was Beautifully devoted to the Most Holy Face of Christ. Setting up the Oratory in his home with the Image of the Holy Face and the oil lamps burning before It, he wrought, by the Grace of God, many cures and conversions. Before this, he passed through many trials.
A very interesting story. There is so much to admire about him; his humility, generosity, charity, & love for the Lord, that make this an inspirational model for us to follow.
We pray this devotion Tuesdays at our local church when we can. The holy face of Jesus devotion is a powerful and msot necessary devotion for our times. Please consider adopting this devotional prayers. Be a consoling Veronica for our Christ suffers all the insults then at calvery and now by atheists and blasphemers. I also love how St.Therese of the child Jesus and holy face of Jesus is involved and supports this devotion too. ❤
Holy man of Tours is one of my favorite books……and also th Golden Arrow…….we always recommended to read both these books in our Catholic book store at Holy Face of Jesus Church…..
Our Parish st Martin of Tours long Island NY was a place of pilgrimage until communism came to to town. Leo DuPont explained a lot for us regarding the 20th century

In the Holy Mass, the priest elevates his hands when he consecrates the Eucharistic bread and the Chalice of wine. The priest's hands are very visible and must do much handling of the Eucharist and the Chalice. The hands of the priest are consecrated as holy hands to do that holy work. A spotless lamb is needed for the redemptive sacrifice. The priest is Alter Christus. Naturally speaking, Venerable Leo Dupont's hands would never become spotless. A crushed thumb would have been a glaring distraction and hindrance at every Mass he would have ever said as a Catholic priest.
Would it not be true to say that in abandoning ad orientum, the Church has turned from the Holy Face of God. Therefore this devotion is the answer for our time?
