I have a Holy Portrait etched many years ago with the seal of the Pope as an authentic copy of the Holy Face of Jesus on the Veil of Veronica . It belonged to my grandmother from the time she was very young in the late 1800’s .
I always pray the little prayer, “ O Bleeding Face, O Face Divine , be every adoration Thine . “

I recently visited Budapest. While there I tried to visit lots of the older Catholic Churches.
I was happy to see many Holy Face of Jesus images on side alters!!! It seemed to have been much more popular in a previous century.

My book arrived today. I love this devotion and am starting a prayer session on Tuesday's in local church. Holy face devotion and 7 sorrows of the B.V..M and sorrowful mysteries of the rosary. But to meet and encourge the faithful to pray in expiation it may help us counter the sacrilegois activities in our local Cathedral. Emailing our Bishop isnt enough. We must pray, trust and love our Lord.

Read GK Chesterton, read Thomas Aquinas. Check out EWTN's Journey Home where there are a chock full of converts from many backgrounds: protestants, Jews, Muslims, atheists, etc. Come back. You (as we all do) need to receive the sacraments, esp. the Holy Eucharist. Peace to you!
The simplicity, humility, lightness of Fr. Carney is heart-warming. Our God is loving, embracing, caring. I don't preach but when someone mention anything about my character that they appreciate I tell them it is not me but God's grace. And is absolutely true. I have a devotion to the Holy Face and the Holy Name, and I am a bit confused because it seems like both are combined. Anyway, I am so inspired by father to go out and give rosaries. I make rosaries, and I have often thought about what more I can do for Our Lord and OurLady. I live in an area where there is tourism; this is great!

a couple of minutes into the video, I was looking at the face of Father, and somehow I was transfixed and felt his holiness, and I noticed "he is simple', and the force of how important that is hit me......then about halfway through the talk he spoke about the 4 aspects of God and how "simplicity" is often left out of the list.....Anyway, that was really striking me. I have fallen in love with this devotion and can't get enough. I haven't had that experience since I read the Secret of the Rosary and fell in love with it more than 20 years ago. I have been reading “The Secret of the Holy Face” and “The Golden Arrow.” My father‘s family is from Saint Martinsville, Louisiana, and I just went there Friday, My sister and I went to visit St. Martin de Tours Church, the third oldest church in Louisiana, and one of the oldest churches in the United States. What a beautiful church. I also attended the Holy Face tritium at a very old church in Kenner, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, in order to make
reparation for the sins committed during carnival and Mardi Gras. I am now going to enroll in the Archconfraternity Thank you for this very informative video.
Also from Louisiana, and had been drawn to rosary later in life . Thanks to my mom, who is with my dad in eternal rest, and a priest , Fr Mark Beard , who is now passed . God Bess my Heaven bound family . Pray that I, too, have the Holy Ghost guiding me . Peace be with you !!!

TAN produced a Leaflet years ago on the Holy Face with Our Lord's Promises and I distrubuted 10,000 by leaving them in Churches, and giving them to people. Spread the word everybody.
So true - it is hard to get to meetings.
Can we still get the graces if we cannot go to meet because of work or crazy schedule if we do everything else???

Dear Father thank you. We run the Apostolate of our Lady of Good success and every third meeting day we say the prayers of the Holy Face. The Holy Face is part of us we are encouraged Father.
Divine providence ….and the cunning of wisdom. We must spread this devotion, be committed & pray our enemies are either converted or destroy themselves in their wickedness.

Father Carney, it is Chronicles 2, Chapter 20, but it is Jehoshaphat :) I studied Chronicles 1 and 2 a couple years ago for scripture study, and you are correct in that only 10 percent of the kings were righteous! What I gathered from that study is that God will use Gentiles to correct his people and get them on track again. This is what we are faced with today. When Trump was elected we got on track but the enemy retaliated and this is what we are faced with today. I challenge everyone that we pray this devotion to the Holy Face to confound the enemy, as in the days of Jehoshaphat, so that God attains victory for his people! To add, I joined the Archconfraternity last year when you first appeared on the Fatima channel and have promoted the Holy Face in my Knights of Columbus council. God bless you and keep you!

later one shared a miracles she experienced. I myself
had an answered prayer
after I prayed to Jesus

I met our Lord face to face one night when I was very young he stood 5t from the end of my bed being in his presents being Holy and Almighty it was the most fear in my life my body trembled and my teeth chattered from fear from around 1:12am to daylight Years later when our Lords Holy Spirit entered into me the only way I can describe it would be a mighty power rushes and enters into you and consumes you with peace love joy and freedom and you feel a separation from your mind body and the world you are now in a sacred place as if in your mothers womb safe and secure and the only thing you can do is cry out Father my Father I love you tears flow from your eyes and you weep knowing this is my true home Our Lord said one must be born again to enter the kingdom of God no one comes to the Father except through me and I came to set the captives free God Bless Everyone

I live in Southern California, is there a meeting I can start attending. That's what held me back. I live in the desert and was my mothers caregiver until recently. I would also like to see a sample of your Chaplet I can make those to give out.

God bless you Fr. Carny. I have gone through the process of joining the confraternity. I pray 🙏 the devotion (almost) every day. What now ? How can I promote this devotion here in North Carolina????
You can start by talking to the people in your church about it, or your loved ones. Afterwards you can do something like start a TH-cam channel, or if anyone asks you about the faith, be sure to bring it up. Anytime the grave subject of blasphemy, communism, taking the Lord’s Name in vain, or the profination of Sundays is brought up, you can do it there too. Always pray the Rosary everyday with the intention of this devotion spreading, and say the Golden Arrow prayer everyday, no matter what.
You can also ask your priest to talk about it, or when in Mass they ask for intentions in the silence of our hearts, you can put it there. You could also write a book about it. Any novena you could pray with the intention of the Holy Face devotion spreading, and you could make sacrifices in order for the devotion to spread.
In other words, just get creative. I think you can find a way to spread the devotion.

Father Carney, how do we get you to speak at our church?
I practise another Holy Face devotion approved by pope PiusXII and its medals/coins; averse has The Holy Face from the Shroud of Turin and reverse the Exposition of the Eucharist. Years back i found and lost the same golden arrow words/ prayer in the Old testament save the words which are added concerning Jesus and the Sacrament of the altar. Unfortunately MAGNIFIED is replaced by GLORIFIED currently. These new post Vatican II translations changed a lot. Example:"Face" is replaced by "presence" . I shatter.... St Jerome pray for the Church in these our times!
And i forgot mentioning the Holy Face has its Feastday, the Shrove Tuesday which is the Tuesday prior to Ashwednesday. God love us all.

I'm a widow how do you get your Church to agree with the Holy Face of Jesus , Meeting???
In this video and in certain Holy Face manuals I've seen, Holy Face devotees are asked to pray daily an Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, and "Lord, show us Thy Face . . . ." But in others, they're asked to pray those first 3 prayers plus the Golden Arrow (not the "Lord, show us Thy Face . . . "). So I'm confused. Which is it? Was Sr. Mary of St. Peter asked by Our Lord to pray the former group or the latter?
So monthly meetings can you do them on zoom Father ?

Hi John I'm in Australia and started a prayer group on a Tuesday, in an Adoration chapel. This prayer Chaplet is incredibly powerful. I went to the Holy Face Website in Ireland which had all the information I needed. I emailed, placed an order for medals, books etc. Very helpful.❤

@@genevieverose931I am from Sydney and follow the same except i especially honour the Feast of the Holy Face coming soon on Shrove Tuesday with an hour of Exposition. For years it has been a strugle with priests, request as per leaflets for it 7-8pm. All sort.of excuses to prevent it. Now with decline of my health i didnt hold.it last year. Havent yet found anyone to take over and carry on. I have a large photo of the Holy Face stuck on the TV screen. I dont watch anything on screen for several years now. ❤

Yes, Louis Martin was the father of St. Thérèse of Lisieux.
The helper to the Carmelites in the story is Louis DuPont. He was a holy and wealthy benefactor who had many miracles occur because of some holy oil below an image of Jesus’ Holy Face.
Drawn to this but then repelled. I'm always disappointed when an important part of a devotion requires me to invoke the name of Mary/Miriam. With the greatest respect, this is nowhere to be found in Holy Writ, nowhere. Neither Paul nor the Apostles invoked the name of Mary/Miriam. I'm always dismayed when I hear it.
