    Since you asked about finding Týr while exploring... yes, you can find him again. It's nothing spectacular, but you can hear a couple of short dialogues from him. You can find him at every realm except Jötunheim.
    Helheim: Close to the giant bird.
    Vanaheim: Freyr's camp.
    Muspelheim: Around the area where Surtr transforms into Ragnarök.
    Midgard: In the map, go to the north side of the cliff you'll find above the "H" of Raider Stronghold.
    Svartalfheim: In the Watchtower area (Southern part of the Bay of Bounty).
    Alfheim: On the edge of a cliff in the Strönd area (in the map is a little south of the "ND").
    *Don't forget to hunt down Gná at Muspelheim (close to The Crucible).*

    great episode! I believe the meaning of the riddle is that a 'hole' is a way of describing grief. When you lose someone, a hole is all there's left, and it only seems to get bigger. So Brok's funeral was probably the perfect moment to find the answer to the riddle.

  • @TheRogueCommand
    @TheRogueCommand 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +8

    15:35 I like to think what stopped Sindri from laying into Kratos here was he could see the usually stoic god showing genuine grief, and that losing Brok hurt him too.

    😂😂😂 you two are just TOO SMART! Figured out what's in the prison within seconds!
    I always loved that funeral scene because of a very specific moment: right as Kratos tries to console Sindri, he immediately changes from grief to intense anger, and wants to lash out at Kratos, and then he just... stops.
    He doesn't even feel real anger anymore. It's just pain and depression and emptiness. And Adam J. Harrington plays it so well, it gets me every time.😢

      Perfectly described. I love how stepping up to kratos like that is the only time he doesn’t talk to kratos with his hands up and fear in his voice.
      Also, the writers and Brok’s voice actor said they wanted his death to “feel like losing the family dog”.

    Well, the prison is a nice way to explain how the community KNEW that ODIN was disguised as that one dwarf on the bridge in Svartalfheim!
    (I'm pretty sure you can find the same character model in the prison, so that's a neat little detail you can find post-story)
    You've covered pretty much everything you need to for Valhalla, but be warned! It has a different gameplay structure than traditional GOW, it's more of a Roguelike experience. I'm sure you'll love it!

    Great job guessing the riddle and that Tyr was in the prison. You can now find Tyr sitting in different realms meditating and you can talk with him to get some pearls of wisdom. I think he’ll show up on the map, and I don’t think they have an order. It’s also nice that you can now visit Ironwood. Kratos has some nice dialog with Angrboda. There are little stories in a lot of the post story missions.
    May not want to take too long to start the Valhalla DLC. You’ll want your combat skills to be fairly fresh, and that has a seriously emotional finale.

    Kratos in Nedavelir is like Gandalf in The Shire.

  • @GreatDeadGod
    @GreatDeadGod 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    A lot of the characters kinda mirror what happened to kratos in one way or another. Baldur wasn't able to let go of his hate and desire for revenge. Freya destroyed what she loves by trying to protect her son. Thor become drunk and abusive because of how odin treated him and just wanted to dull the pain. Became a monster like kratos was. Even sindri is now feeling what kratos felt after losing his family... And of course Tyr oh i mean Týr obviously represents what kratos could've been what he aspires to be... A god of war that actually cares about people, about the world around him... Faye and Atreus made kratos open his heart again to hope again... It's so well done.

    I loved this video and this series, ladies. The part I keep going back to is when Atreus brought back Fenrir. That is my favorite moment in the game and your reactions to it made it so much sweeter.
    Random tidbits:
    - Týr can be found in several locations and interacted with in almost all of them.
    - You can visit Angrboda in Jotunheim. Kratos has some amusing dialogue with her. You can also interact with Fenrir.
    - Durlin can be found at the tavern for a few more amusing lines.
    - Visiting Chaurli in Sanctuary Grove (Midgard) provides a nice little moment as well.
    I'm a bit sad that the Týr we wanted to see doesn't appear until after endgame, and even then only has a few bits of dialogue in different realms.
    Finally, and this is IN NO WAY related to what I just said.... I am anxiously awaiting VALHALLA 🔥🔥🔥

  • @95DOIDO
    @95DOIDO 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

    There are still some things to do, Jotunheim is now open to travel, Angrboda is there, there are the Berserks and Gná, the raven tree as well, there's lore to all of this, and some minor things to do, like einherjar camps, and completionist stuff, that just shows you how huge, detailed and filled with content this game is, I feel spoiled with GOW ragnarok, I have 400-500 hours on this game and I'm still in awe with all the effort they put in to the side quests, not only in quantity but mainly in quality, all of them well writen and fun to do, and I'm not even including Valhalla, a DLC so incredible for free, Santa Monica Studio really love their fans.

    You are both correct- the prison in Niflheim that held Tyr was not originally available. It was one of the pieces if Asgard that fell throughout the realms- one of the main side quests now is clear g those out- they're kinda easy to spot since they all seem to radiate shimmery, 🌈 auras around them (you probably noticed that in the prison).
    Happy Hunting! :)

    I love so much the different reaction that has the real Týr for his freedom, as Odin he wanted a close space for himself and was really picky with his food, as the real one he wants space and wander through alone, not even asking for food. Looking back makes so much sense but without any of the reveals almost no one questions it 😫

    Never seen anyone guess the riddle correctly before. Though you were along the right train of thought, the real depth of its meaning was still emphasized metaphorically as Sindri's heart. Which you may have surmised.
    Tyr can be ran into at a number of places across the realms, including the Vanahiem camp, in Helhiem next to the eagle and I think the Biforst bridge in the Lake of Nine. There are probably more but those are the ones I know.
    I want to suggest doing a reaction to the Midgard Mishaps 1 and 2, it's essentially bloopers for the main games. They are funny as hell in my opinion.

    The only thing I might've added to Brok's funeral is I would've had Atreus there in some capacity. Not with the main group, but maybe on a ridge in the background overlooking the funeral. Or at some point before Sindri vanishes have a wolf mournfully howl in the background. Like when Sindri is glaring at Kratos, have the wolf howl be the thing the breaks Sindri out of that stare. Like at 15:38 is when you hear the howl.
    Then after the credits have a bit of dialog from Mimir saying that wolves aren't native to this realm insinuating that it was Atreus in his wolf form howling. A howl to say goodbye to his two lost friends. Brok and Sindri.

    It's poignant that Cait figured out the riddle on the episode it's revealed. Loved that part. There is plenty more to explore and lots to do, including another Valkyrie Queen and the Berserkers, but no one would blame you if you went to Valhalla. Just to satisfy your own curiosity, if you continue playing around, you might catch Tyr going from place to place with some dialogue. Other points of interest are going to Jotenheim to meet Agraboda and Fenir, and finding Freya's turtle house

  • @JustQuibbs
    @JustQuibbs 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Well, I don't know about the Týr stuff, because he is more around in Valhallah (DLC), but it is fun to find him. But...uuuh...he will not be in the prison waiting.
    Explore the realms! See what more you can happen upon. Think outside of the box. Revisit places. Check out the different sights~ I think that is the true reward of this game.
    ...and if you are up to test your skills, there are three challenges that await you... Muspelheim holds two of those, the rest are across the realms as the Barbarians.
    I had a lot of fun to 100% this game, but I did not stream it, of course. IT takes a lot of time and can be frustrating. To get every bit of story I say doing so is worth it, but the main story line is already so impactful... you are good. You can rest. More games await.

    Great gameplay girls 🎉🎉, What you said is true, I like playing games alone, because I absorb everything and get very emotional, the amount of times I cried with games like The Last of Us, God of War, Life is Strange and others is high, playing with someone or focusing on creating content can distance your personal feelings from the game, which is a shame, not being impacted by anything is the same as going through the experience blank, but still thank God, there are streamers, who even with the distraction of the chat, still manage to understand the deep messages and cry, there are two woman streamers that I love for that, and they talk for 1 hour after they finish about their experiences with that episode of the game, which I love, because many people watch gameplay, more for the opinion and reaction of those who play, than to see the gameplay itself, but even though you two are not such emotional people, I liked your personality, even though you only show a little of it, anyway, looking forward to the next game sagas

    I know you guys are probably eager to move onto other games/videos, but if you do return to Ragnarok, there's a quest involving the island at the top of Svartalfheim that's a great bit of Mimir's backstory. Also, it's more obvious in the Valhalla DLC, but hats off to the writers and Ben Prendergast for making the fake Tyr and real Tyr subtly distinct from one another. The more you talk to him, the more you see how genuine he is compared to Odin's condescending tone.
