I'm going back to Omi-Hachiman tomorrow and still wondering if I should ever bother visiting this place. The outside greenery looks lovely, but if all it is is another place to waste money on sweet cakes and itty bitty bistro fare....meh...
I always love a nice turf roofed building, they are good insulation, not to mention beneficial for the environment. On a separate comment how did you like the Arancino? i quite enjoy Arancino though the ones i have eaten have cheese in the middle instead of egg.

I took a bus! I can't remember exactly.. 😅
