I think he just wants a big check, he sees Mayweather can get 3 to 400 mill per fight, and he wants his piece. This fight will determine the undisputed champ, all major belts on the line. That hasn't happened since the 1900's... so yeah, he's smart... the saudis offered tiger woods a billion dollars. The fight for the undisputed title getting half of that seems reasonable.. Sorry I don't know any fighter named Tiger Woods, the only one I know is a Gulfer. Fury's dream to be the first in boxing history to hit half a bill cheque isn't as important as our dream for the Undisputed

@@boxuptv6522 he mentioned tiger woods in the same interview that he brought up the 500k. He was simply implying that they obviously have the money. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for him, he'd be a fool to let it slip.. the only part I don't agree with is the 1 week deadline, that's a bit over the top..
For reference, he's current world champ and he's worth 65 mill... Mayweather has earned over a billion throughout his career... if he's gonna be the undisputed hw champ, he deserves the payday
