- Bike build動画も気付けば5本目。CRUST BIKES the dreamerの組み立です。
the dreamerは無塗装の状態で入荷してくるフレームなので、必ず塗装の工程が加わります。
だから今回の組み立てはCook Paint Warksでの塗装からスタート。DISCブレーキ、ラック、ダイナモライトまで、全部のせ。

USAを拠点に活動するMATT WHITEHEADのブランド"CRUST BIKES"のオリジナルフレーム"THE DREAMER"
CRUST唯一のアメリカンハンドメイドフレーム。ダートライドからライトツーリングまで。遊びのフィールドを選ばず幅広く対応したオールラウンダー。
無骨なユニクラウンフォークやSベントのシートステー、ダウンチューブ裏に開けられた3つのボトルケージ台座などなど。
シンプルでありながらもマニアックなテイストがふんだんに盛り込まれています。
素材には数種のColumbus製クロモリチューブを使い分け軽量な仕上がり。
ラックダボの他フェンダー用アイレットも備わっているので本格的なツーリングバイクとして組む事も出来ます。
ホイールサイズは27.5" × 48mm(XSのみ26"×48mm)推奨。最大2.1"まで入る余裕を持ったクリアランス。
他モデルの様にラフなジオメトリー(コンバーチブル仕様)でない分CRUST狙い通りのフィーリングが堪能出来ます。

One of the things I love about living in Tokyo is that there are great bike shops like Blue Lug, and that in Japan, bike mechanics are often more careful and detailed-oriented than surgeons in other countries.
I love bicycles! But watching true artistry puts the passion on a spiritual plain. Much respect, admiration, reverence to this master.
I am compelled to shed all my belongings that contain less than this. Refined and meaningful life.
If bike building video Oscars existed, this would win in every category. Amazing attention to detail and each detail is wonderful.

Outstanding work from start to finish. I recently started work at a shop that manufactures frames as well as building complete bikes and the amount of tooling we have in our bike shop is incredible. We don't have a film crew for our work unfortunately. Outstanding work and I love your custom anodized Phil Wood Spoke Cutter. I'm usually repairing and building bikes but I'll do the threading, reaming and facing as well. I'd love to see something with fancy lugwork!

If you're going to spend more than $10,000 for a bicycle this is the level of work and attention to details you should expect. These carbon bikes coming from factories in China that use cheap labor and slack quality control are garbage in comparison. I built my titanium bike from the ground up with the same amount of work this guy put into what you are watching and I must say it was the only way to build a proper bike. The ride tells the whole story. Loved watching this video.
