The way this video was done was so good, it was like an episode for a show “you send it we fix it and shred it” kinda vibe that was really cool. Also I love that Adam is pushing tj to get to that next level in drift

Crazy how much of a difference it makes having a solid crew that really knows what they're doing. Things that are so straightforward maintenance for Johan had TJ ready to give up on a car that was built to a crazy nice level by one of the sickest drift car builders in the world.
This is a prime example of the amazing team you have built around yourself Adam . You guys rock and have saved that beautiful car from being neglected any longer . And now that TJ is a much better driver im sure he will appreciate it much more .
This is some of my favorite LZ content I’ve seen, and I have been watching each video consecutively for 2 years and some, by now. From around the time he bought the compound everything completely leveled up, but I particularly liked this video. From seeing Johan and the team work on the car and explain how they went about fixing it, to Adam breaking down what tests he does and how he got familiar with the new car. Thanks so much for bringing us along on this amazing journey with you and giving us, as your fans not only great entertainment , but also teach us through your experiences. 🙏

It’s interesting to see how much I’ve learned from watching your videos without even realizing it, I had one of my buddies come to his first drift event as a driver, mind you this was only my 3rd event as a driver. His car has a gnarly angle kit, which my car does not, he was struggling like crazy to hold his transitions, I watched his wheel his second run and told him to pull off so we could check the tow, sure enough, he had some pretty intense tow in. We fixed it he went out and it looked like it was driving a lot better. In hindsight, that was definitely because of watching this channel😂. So many thanks!!!

I too have given up on one of my projects and just didn’t have the motivation to finish it because it was just too much for myself. It feels good to have friends to push you through and even help you with all of the little stuff that you floss over yourself. Good shit LZ thank you for being that friend that everyone needs!!

This is great content! TJ is a pretty solid driver but needs the car to help. Personally I think he needs more of an experienced team like you to give him this sort of knowledge.

I really love this content, it is so refreshing to see the technical aspect of drifting break down so easy to understand and replicate Joan well rounded and Adam knowledgeable and informative.
Noticed on the initial drift that the rear wheel seemed to move back in the arch so may have a rear arm bush gone, but yeah looks like a vast improvement already, boost leak city.

@@fabini14 it's the rear of a 350z dude, all of the arms have bushes you can see it from the wheel moving

Adam noted in the video it has a bent rear control arm, more than likely what you're seeing

I said it once and I’ll say it again. TJ over built this car before actually learning to maintain a drift car. He relied to much on others fixing his stuff and never took the time to actually learn himself. 🤦♂️

I think the car just had too many hands on it and no one to follow it through after testing. The car was built by that one asshole guy originally, then to dans shop then to TJ’s guys. That is not what you want for a comp car.
Man i wish you'd throw down like this in FD. You look so much more comfortable throwing that Z around and it highlights just how much flair you have when the pressure is off.

And then we are completely ignoring that both Adam and tj could rebuild this car thousands of times over.

I'm glad Adam's doing this, putting this perfect car on the side was a bad cal from TJ. He doesn't need to put it aside as a showpiece, even he bends the frame like hell one day, he'll still have the money to put it back into "okay" shape for a showpiece. But I can't stand all TJs talent enclosed in his small 370z when he's got this beast

For brass you wanna use a similar sized Allen key or torx bit and hammer that in there. The extractors just smush the brass and press it against the threads harder, but the Allen keys and torx bits have just enough relief in them. They break all the time on tractor trailers and are rarely fun to remove

It doesn't matter to what standard you build a car, it needs regular maintenance, especially a race-car. Great to see the 350 get the greatly needed TLC. Great job Adam. Cant wait to see TJ shred it again and fall in love with it all over again. LZ Drift-gang holding it down. ;-)
