there are some things that do surprise me though, like how at 5:04 he knowingly gets mercy to 1hp but doesnt go for the dash. or at 14:30 where rammatra was lingering at 2 to 3 bars of hp, not going for a dash-melee kill, knowing brig's location and that he can't be healed instantly at the moment.
The mercy was not worth going for, the dash range might not have reached and he’d be dashing into the enemy team with no way out. Trading there is horrible too.

methinks a decent buff to genji would be making him invulnerable during dash similar to tracer blink. or would that be too strong? its not like people can realistically react to a genji dash so less random kills would be nice
@@BronsonN88 nah, you can easily add extra rules to the hitbox. Like giving him 10000 shields during the dashing frame which makes him virtually invincible to any dmg during dash.

I don't think making genji invulnerable would be good, but perhaps damage reduction? In all honesty, I always thought that deflect should also get a damage reduction for attacks that can't be deflected. like winston electricity. how much damage reduction, would be up to the (non-existence) balancing team of OW, but I feel like it could perhaps make him more viable across all ranks.

Because going for risky confirms like those usually end in a trade. Sometimes that's good, sometimes that's bad.

I dont think you realistically can because of the way dash is coded to make his body a hurtbox and do damage, similar to Ball flame or Brig bash.
