it’s that true home cooking that you just can’t repeat exactly no matter how hard you try , but you know when it’s dinner time you about to feel gooooood
I’m from Australia and I love this channel, you’re a good humble bloke who just cooks food to eat, not trying to impress the world with some fancy gold covered steak! Fuck yeh man I love it
The more I watch you the more I understand simply foods thank you so much for not being so overrated and teaching people how to feed their families Love 💕 you channel keep up I’ll be here every time on time lol 😂
I find your voice so soothing. So does my newborn. Its so homey and pure. I think its amazing at how simple and clear you make these videos. Your enthusiasm is contagious. I forsee amazing opportunities coming your way. Happy holidays to you, yours and everyone watching! Stay blessed
Every dish you make and your accent just takes me home.....even though I'm only 8-ish hours from my childhood home I still noticed the difference accents around, n-e-ways I love your accent reminds me of a South Georgia goodness....😘😘😘😘
Hey Ralph loved the tutorial more I loved the La accent lost mine when I was little because we traveled a lot This was refreshing I used to eat yakamein a lot growing up in NOLA such a simple recipe yet I have never made yakamein as an adult thanks to you I will make some
@Food Network- This is the type of cooking show that we need. A person that we can relate to cooking food that we will actually cook and eat. No fluff and frills just good food and great people!!
Man much props to yah Ralph. I'm from New Orleans and currently living on the West bank. I use to love to cook and the restaurant industry mess that up for me. Your videos got me love cooking again ain't nothing better than Creole food. Keep it up bro!!!!!
Omg thank you I've been wanting to know how to make it for a long time, I only get the chance to eat it when I go bk home and that's not very often as I'd like.
And we all need to try something new. I thank Ralph for sharing his knowledge & for making his recipes simply without 85 ingredients we cant find & dont have. I always cut down on the salt & seasonings as im old & have hbp....recipes are adaptable. One hack id like to share is eggs - there are many people allergic to eggs. If a recipe calls for boiled eggs, substitute avocados. Just cut them fresh, soak in lemon & pretend their boiled eggs. Youd be surprised.
You are a really interesting chap Ralph I love your honesty, and efficiency and the way you speak, food looks delicious too Good video editing too This about the 2nd comment I've made on in my life ,so your doing well to get that out of me. God bless you and your family Ralph.
That's crazy. So simple but I've never even thought of that. Sounds and looks amazing. With the egg it definitely looks close to a bowl of Japanese ramen.
Great video...looks delicious and you are a very good teacher, very easy to listen to...as far as boiled eggs go I can never have too many in the fridge lol...
I honestly love your recipes and how down to earth you are! I made the strawberry shortcake yesterday and it was a banger I think I’ll try this tonight! 💕
Have never seen stew meat boiled like this before and anxious to try this recipe. It has every thing I love to eat so adding them together sounds delish.
Hey Ralph love the recipe. We do yak different here in Baltimore. More Asian and less soupy. But good yak is good yak. New Orleans version is great also.
I had this over 30 years ago I have family in New Orleans and they use pork chops instead of beef and I couldn't find the recipe until now thank you for the recipe
Bro the brings back memories I haven’t had this in a while Been in Texas for yrs more of the spots I when you for this closed down Mr Wilson spot across the bridge off chef Mentor was the spot for me lived in the 9th ward pops stood getting for there Texas where I stay got nothing on Louisiana food everywhere you turn it’s somewhere to eat even gas stations have legit real meals 😩 I love your channel bro my new favorite TH-camr 💯
Seafood gumbo of you haven't already. Love your cooking. Some Chinese chilli paste and some sesame oil would go good with your yakamien. Keep em coming!!!!
I can't wait to make that and try it It looks so good and it's everything I like beef and noodles, comfort food with Your Cajun twist! I love watching your videos Ralph and I can't wait to see the documentary! Ima be sending you a pepper mill (it's a battery- powered pepper mill, just press the button & it grinds your black peppercorns) (if that would be okay? I have one and its quite a cool gadget!)
Sha I must admit, you got me. I never heard of such a critter. Even with as much time as I have spent in NewOrleans. I live up in Rapides parish and I have never heard of it here either. Will look for it next trip down. Looks amazing
I live in Metairie, right outside New Orleans. This dude is really sharing authentic New Orleans dishes. He is legit.
