Installing The Cheapest Ebay Coilovers On My 2020 WRX

- In this video I am Installing Rev9 Coilovers From Ebay. If I'm not mistaken these are made by Godspeed. There's 2 versions of these. "Hyper Street" and "Hyperstreet 2". I have the standard hyper street. HS 2 Has more adjustability on dampening and also has front camber adjustment. These were the cheapest coilovers I could find and I must say, for the price I can't complain. Only time will tell but I have high hopes for them.

I have been rocking them for about 4 months. No real major issues…..yet lol

great vid, wondering I have a 21 wrx and I don’t get what VA1 or VA2 stands for, ebay says they wont fit my 21 wrx and I just want to make sure they do fit, sorry for my ignorance lol
If I’m not mistaken V stands for wrx/sti , A is for sedan, 1 = FA20 , 2=EJ257
Hey man, did you ever finding a good spacer size? Or did you end up getting bigger tires and or did you roll your fenders? Any update on it? I want to get spacers on my STI while keeping it stick (being the tires, wheels and height)
Well, I only ever rubbed in the rear. I switched from 20mm to 15mm and the rubbing got cut down by about 70% but when I hit hard bumps it would still rub. I rolled my quarter panels and that might have helped a little bit but they still rub. I'm going to lift the back of the car until it stops rubbing and hopefully it doesn't look like a monster truck lol

I was laughing when he said you can adjust the spring rate with the knob, then when he matched the length with the OEM unit I was done. 😂

How have the Coilovers been holding up my man? How do they feel daily driving
They're okay. I wouldn't say they suck, I would say they're great. I will say for someone who wants a lower ride height for daily driving they're not bad for the price. My complaint after driving with them for a while is they don't feel very great going through corners during spirited driving. The car feels slightly loose and unpredictable no matter where I set the settings. I would say if you're dailying the car they're good, but if you track your car or go for lots of spirited drives you may be slightly disappointed.
After 2 months, how are they holding up? Would you suggest these to others wanting to jump in with Coil Overs?
I already replaced them. I would say they're okay for flat roads but they were really bouncy in my area going over bumps and stuff. (Not stiff bouncy, but too soft bouncy)
@@StreetInspired1 I saw that shortly after posting my Q. Thanks for getting back to me. I wouldnt want to give up cornering stability on my Veloster.... I'll stick to the Eibach Pro Kit Springs until I fork out the cast for GOOD coil overs.

They weren't terrible for the money, but they weren't the best. I ended up swapping then out for a set of silvers coilovers.
