  • Investors asked me various questions related to investment and I have answered few selected questions in this video. '
    This video is bases on question and answers related to mainly mutual fund asked by my viewers.
    This video is for educational and informational purposes only. Viewers should consult their Insurance Advisors/financial advisors/ Tax Consultants before making any investment decisions.
    Mutual Fund investments are subject to market risks, read all scheme related documents carefully. The NAVs of the schemes may go up or down depending upon the factors and forces affecting the securities market including the fluctuations in the interest rates. The past performance of the mutual funds is not necessarily indicative of future performance of the schemes.

    Kindly note that there is an error in calculation of future value after 5 years as Rs. 25,00,000 has been added twice. The total should be read as ₹89,76,179. The objective of the calculation is to tell you that you will have more money than the amount invested initially. Apologies for the negligence.

U have shown investment in main TWO categories ( one is for safety of our principal amount and SECOND option to enhance our retired Corpus ). Pl prepare one video for retired persons with options for MFs , Pension funds, pension schemes. Pl.

      BAF is too risky for a retiree. A conservative hybrid fund is the best. ICICI Regular Savings or Kotak Debt Hybrid are good funds.

    • @pankajmathpal
      @pankajmathpal  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Kanjilal is there is no such plan available in mutual funds in which only profit is credited in your account automatically. And, even if you plan to do it manually then there is a limitation as the profit is not guarenteed and the retiree may face difficulty in managing cashflow if there is no profit in one or more months.

    Banks like jana bank gives 7.25% interest. Up to 5 lacs deposit money is safe. Use 5 such small banks, 25 lacs will give about 7% return without any risk.
    10-12% return can go horribly wrong in equity investment.

    • @shaileshs.3177

    TDS on investment not considered. 10% & 12% ROI on Mutual Fund is on higher side. Consideration of Emergency fund is less & impractical. Large part of funds are blocked in long term & in emergency cases, it is difficult for easy withdrawal except bank investment. Not a practical one, I think.

    • @pankajmathpal
      @pankajmathpal  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Income up to Rs. 5 lakh in one financial year for a resident Indian is exempted from tax after applying section 87A of income tax act and we discussed an income of Rs. 40,000 per month only means Rs. 4.80 lakh in a year. So, TDS is not applicable here if form 15H is submitted. Returns on mutual funds are considered on a conservative side. Historically, Mutual funds have performed better then projected here. Money parked in FDs as well as from mutual funds can be withdrawn any time. Also, SCSS account can be closed anytime. Hope this clarifies your doubts. And one advice for you, think twice before you comment. Please remember little knowledge is the dengerous thing.

    Thank You for the video sir.
    My name is Amit Roy. Can you please make a similar video for people who are say looking to retire early at 45-50 years of age.
    If someone has a corpus of 3 Crore at 45 how should he break up his Investments into FD, Govt schemes and SWP to generate inflation adjusted monthly income for years to come.
    Current age = 30 & Current monthly Expenses= Rs. 40,000
    At 6% inflation , monthly expenses at 45 will be around Rs. 1 lakh.
    In that case how will he break up his corpus of Rs. 3 Cr at 45 to generate a monthly income of Rs. 90k - 1 lakh and for years to come with inflation ?

      @@pankajmathpal I will just let you know my thought process -
      My name is Amit Roy. I am from Kolkata.
      You answered one of my question in a previous video.
      My Goal after 15 Years is a corpus of 3-4 crore and for this amount I have mentioned the SIPs I am doing in this video. After 15 years I am looking to invest some of this corpus in SWP schemes and some in FD.
      For example, my monthly expenditure now is around Rs. 40,000 which after 15 years will be around Rs. 95000 - 1 Lakh (at 6% Inflation) . From the corpus of 3-4 crore SWP I intend to withdraw around Rs. 2 lakh per month. Within that 1 lakh will be used for monthly expenses and the rest I will reinvest.
      I think this way I can manage an early retirement. Is the above a right strategy to go ahead with in mind ?
      (I have a Home Loan which is around 10,000 pm month and will be paid by 2030. I don't have any other debt. )

    • @pankajmathpal
      @pankajmathpal  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Senior Citizen Savings Scheme has been considered here. PO-MIS is offering only 6.60% per annum interest at present; hence, I didn't find it suitable here. In Floating Rate Savings Bonds or Conservative hybrid funds, you may get a better return in the future but in the case of MIS, rates are locked for 5 years. I don't say your opinion is wrong but I don't see PO-MIS attractive at this point.
