      @@LHarris3000, yes, thank you for saying that it is tough, it is really hard work to prepare for interviews, but those that work hard at it, like you are, have the most success! Good luck!

    Hi Jeff, awesome content as always! Have seen a fair share of your videos. I'm clear on how to answer open ended and behavioral questions. Just wondering if you have any advice for more general/ random questions, along the lines of "Why is the google homepage mostly blank?" or "What are the emerging trends in digital marketing?". Coming up with ideas is not so much the issue, but are there any frameworks/ approaches you would recommend?

      digglerinho, it is critical that for any open-ended/hypothetical question to use the CFAS method. Even these simple questions can use clarification and a simple framework, then remember the power of making assumptions and solving based on the role you are interviewing for, I hope this helps!

    Make sure you have plans B. If planning A failed. Note the point critical problem. Fixed quick

    • @jeffhsipepi
      @jeffhsipepi  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @bayou__, if you talk about plan B in your answer it is important to remember to spend your time focusing on the actions you took to implement Plan B

    Hi Jeff!
    Is there a time limit you suggest for a behavioral interview response? Seeing yours in this video is 3:30+, but in an ideal response, would you try to condense this, or conversely make it a bit longer & more detailed ?

    • @jeffhsipepi
      @jeffhsipepi  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      William, my ideal behavioral answer is 3-4 minutes.

    Hello Jeff,
    If a question about failure is ask, can I talk about a time I failed an exam?

    • @jeffhsipepi
      @jeffhsipepi  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      O’Brien Ortega, as long as most of your answer focuses on the actions you took after you failed to improve and get better!

    Hi Jeff, do you have any videos on Google Team Matching and if they can be used to leverage compensation? I have 4 teams who want to talk with me in the team matching stage. Is this anyway to know if this is above/below normal and if I can leverage it for compensation?

    • @jeffhsipepi
      @jeffhsipepi  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      CommandantNOVA, the number of team match calls you have will not impact how much compensation you earn. I did do a video on team matching - th-cam.com/video/fG3noON-IWo/w-d-xo.html and another one on Google Comp - th-cam.com/video/1g9PbyGGIRI/w-d-xo.html, I hope these help and good luck! Let us know how the team matching goes!

      @@jeffhsipepi Hi Jeff, thanks for those. I went through those. They're really helpful but what I was wondering really is "Does the team you select during team matching have an effect on what comp Google is willing to negotiate for?"

    Hi Jeff, your videos are amazing. I'm From Brazil and 10 days ago a Google recruiter invited me to apply for a position as Account Strategist. We had the first interview and next wednesday I'm gonna do two interviews on the same day.
    I did speak in my first interview in Portuguese molst of the time but I had to answer two questions in English and I'm not sure if I was good enough. So I would like to ask: Do you think I can lose the job because of English ? I'm pretty comfortable speaking English in daily situations, but in an interview I'm really scared about it. Secondly: Should I ask to do part of the interview in Portuguese until I feel comfortable to start speaking in English ? will they accept me if my english isn't "perfect" as a native is?

    • @jeffhsipepi
      @jeffhsipepi  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Devilyn, you really want to take guidance from your interviewer on what language they would like you to answer questions. The good news is that most non-native English speakers are the hardest on themself, it usually sounds good to their audience. I know the toughest part is processing information in another language, especially with the pressure of an interview. Good luck and keep us posted!

      @@jeffhsipepi Hi Jeff, I'have been doing all interviews in Portuguese. \o/ Just updating you I finished this week my last interview (G&L). Now I'm waiting for an offer!! Wish me luck!!
      I also have another question: could you tell me just a base salary for an Account Strategist Role here in Brazil? I have +3 years of experience and large acknowledge about Google Ads and Analytics. I don't Know how it works (level and etc) and I can't find anything online.
      Thank you for all videos and free supporting that you are giving to us. I really appreciate it, you are helping so many people that really want to get into Google. In my case, also helping to improve my English. I did watch more than 12 hours of your videos. HAHHAAH Thank you again.
