[ANALYSIS] Jinkook/Kookjin in Run BTS EP136-137 [BTS Jungkook & Jin] - Did Jin get his red ginseng??

- Hello everyone, I'm back with an analysis video on Jinkook during EP 136 & 137 of Run BTS! It’s my first analysis video so I’d appreciate constructive feedback & merciful criticism 🙈
I decided to analyse these episodes because of Jin and the red ginseng, so I thought I’d give these episodes a closer look. As usual, I included some commentary in the clips to better explain the situation as I saw it, but I understand that I may have gone overboard with my first analysis 😅
※ SUMMARY ※
My theory in this analysis draws from another that Jin & JK are often cautioned to keep their interactions on the down-low. If you look at certain analysis videos (from either “With Jinkook/Kookjin” or “Jinkook Channel” - I found the analyses by these channels most convincing when I first started shipping Jinkook so it’s probably one of the two), it talks about how there are certain time periods where Jinkook slip into their “happy” period, where they have sweet moments, and then lapse, which is when they (the Internet, lol) figured the company was pressuring them to keep their “relationship” lowkey.
Anyway, I pointed out there was more to “read” with Jin than JK, because he’s more subtle with his behaviour (+ he’s all about subtext skinship & interactions, which I absolutely LOVE), whereas JK is an open book - if he’s happy/frustrated/confused, it shows on his face.
The more I watched these 2 episodes, I saw Jin started out being unresponsive towards the members. He looked fine in the beginning (smiling/talking to members) up until team members were decided, but then became very… non-reactive towards the members, except J-Hope, who was his teammate.
And my theory for that is because Jin thinks it's OK to be seen/filmed interacting with J-Hope since they were teammates - it was necessary or “acceptable” to be discussing or speaking with J-Hope. If you look at his body language, he limited his reactions & speech to J-Hope, which is not what other members did.
Jimin & JK, when they speak or react, generally turn towards their left (facing the direction with the most members), because they’re interacting with all of BTS, or directing it towards the room/situation.
With V & RM, since they are centre, I saw RM divided his attention equally to his left & right side (speaking to members on both sides). He also looked frontwards a lot during the episodes, which is what V did too.
But gradually, throughout the episodes, we see Jin open up more to the other members (by talking/joking more, showing more reactions) but he’s still reserved with JK?? I noted this in my analysis video but basically, he only showed reactions towards JK if it was also with another member (e.g., if he said something to JM or when he spoke with his mom 💜)
The only other times Jin reacted to JK was when the situation had gotten him riled up/excited, in such a way that he’d forgotten why he had to dial it down in the first place - which let him show how he really felt about the situation or comment.
Then, for the finale, we have the moment where JK exchanged the wine with V to give Jin the red ginseng. I’ll leave the analysis of that to be explained in the video 😚

FINAL THOUGHTS:
This is my first analysis on any BTS video, so I can’t say for sure that this is ANY of their usual behaviour, but I hope that the more I analyse them, the more certain I can be of their behaviour & of my analysis.
For now, if you see any inconsistencies, I will take note of them for future analyses.
I will be analysing Taehyung’s Osaka V Live next, due to popular demand 😚 I’m so glad that people are interested in what I had to say about it. I’m kinda scared now, that I end up disappointing everyone 😳
After I get that done, I’ll get started on previous Run BTS episodes, because I really wanted to compare these moments to previous episodes, but that would have made the video too long.
Instead, I will analyse the other episodes separately and make comparisons after I’m done with those episodes. That way, I will have a complete analysis of all the relevant episodes and be able to make clearer and more comprehensive comparisons. Stay tuned 😚
Just a little reminder that Jinkook/Kookjin is my personal favourite ship in BTS, but it doesn't mean I think no other ships are valid. You are free to ship whoever you want. I agree with everyone, no one can argue how JK deeply loves Jin to be so sensitive w/ trading his wine for the red ginseng when he saw him sulking. My heart is just so full watching this kind of love exists. Selfless. 😭💜
My heart absolutely broke when Jin looked upset and went back to his seat 💔 And to see that JK would be so quick to take action to get the red ginseng back to Jin just restores my faith in love 🥰🥰
No body is paying attention to jimin always trying to seat close to jk and try to make jk avoid jin but jk loves jin to much to not want ti be by Jin’s side , in my own opinion I think jimin is acting as a friend of jinkook just to get close to jk and keep him away from jin as much as he can jimin is in love with jk , jk likes jimin but loves jin .. I found it annoying that jimin always use seductive ways on stage to dance with jk , I mean if they are just friends why not give jk space to be around jin why always has to seat close to them .. why not seat close to SG

I absolutely love how u analysed this. True to the point and no dramatics. And personally I feel V took the red ginseng to get back at JK, since V was so vocal about the wine along with RM. And suddenly JK sweeps it for himself. So V’s like, u take mine, I’ll take your yeobo’s. And the way JK so easily gave up what he wants for JIN, makes me so weak. It was so precious. And I didn’t notice all these looks of Jin to JK, and how well Jin can pretend JK is not his everything is so astounding. We really need eagle eyes to see Jin. Lol. Looking forward to more.

Wonderful analysis, nicely done. JK’s love for Jin is not brotherly or friendly, they are romantic in nature. JK feelings for Jin evolved from having a crush to being infatuated to extremely possessive to falling head over heels in love in the span of 10 years from the day they met. This kind of love is rare and eternal. And it’s important to acknowledge that they are in love, they are miserable, angry and frustrated when they are separated and yes it’s being pushed by BH and HYBE. I hope one day they can be free and happy from having to hide and be secretive, you can’t live like this forever. Keep up the great job.

I guess it's safe to say that you're not the only one who has the same thought. 🤔😁 I don't know if it's also an important point but when Hobi and Jin went to the front to claim the beef, JK also stood up (my theory is he wanted to congratulate Jin) but Jimin was heard at the background saying "sit down, jungkook".
When the camera pans to them, JK was already sitting w/ a blank face.

I believe this cause all BTS members have shares so it's not like they have no voice. From my point of view they react the same way I would react to a couple I love if they need to hide it.
Korea is a very conservative country. Especially when it is regarding the LGBTQ community. I have also seen a lot of reports of how gay men are treated badly in the Army.
It just makes sense to hide it unfortunately.
Thanks for this nice vid and the analysis you have made. All I can is , JK payed attention to what Jin really like wc is the red ginseng and as for my opinion, JK didn't expect tae2 will get the red ginseng wc JIN really wanted in the first place, just so happen JK took already the wine wc V wanted to get, so he came up with a brilliant idea of trading the wine to Tae so that he can give the red ginseng to his fave JIn hyung even if he did it as for the trade, the important thing is he knew that Jin will be very happy to have the red ginseng and we might not know that deep in his heart, he was touched by the actions that JK did for him even if its for the trade. I really love JINKOOK and everytime they had their moments, that brings so much joy to me as well and for the other shippers of JINKOOK. also love the other bangtan boys. and we know that after that episode, they had a really nice dinner or lunch maybe sharing the beef =)

Thank you for this video and analysis. You are right on in your observation that JK tried to get the Red Ginseng for Jin. That much is obvious, and that Jin had it towards the end made it sweeter. At the start, Jin didn't look like he was in the mood, but as the game progressed, he began to gain interest. In past Run BTS you'd see him more active, but this time, he really wasn't as engaged. His mood here was similar to Run BTS 122, the reverse Avatar where he and Yoongi were cooking. Jin wasn't even responding to Jimin in that episode. He was only answering JK because he had to. He really wasn't happy there. Also JK looked like he was walking on eggshells around Jin, and would softly tease him. A JinKook observer in fact posited that Jin was actually pissed and perhaps not wanting to add to his sour mood, Jimin did no skinship at all with JK even if they were on the same team. He didn't fall on JK when he laughed, etc. That episode was a minefield of emotions actually. You may want to take a look at that episode, too, because Jin's mood there was similar to his mood in this episode. But the things you pointed out helped me check out their interaction. @@td1859 It was a thread in one of the channels here on YT. In Taeyoonginies -- I think it was a comment on one of her videos, not the recent one but the previous video. She is quite prolific in her content lately. Although she believes in Taeyoongie, she is first and foremost a JinKooker so she gets a lot of us watching her videos because she references them a lot.
Run BTS 122 really feels similar to this Episode. In fact it was pointed out in the discussion that when Jin told Tae that he can cook the dish for him anytime because Tae liked it so much, JK looked at Jin. Also it may be noteworthy to mention that Jin wasn't very warm towards Jimin at all during that Run. The long time JinKook observer said that they had an earlier shoot because of the clothes they were wearing and that probably something went down in the previous shoot. Too much skinship between Jimin and JK perhaps because he was okay with everyone else. He was talking to Suga of course because they were cooking. But he was short with Namjoon (according to the observer), but engaged with him just the same, and talked to Hobi and Tae but pretty much had nothing to say to Jimin and JK. Who knows what really happened, right? What was pretty obvious was that Seokjin wasn't amused with the two.
Wow, this is definitely something I need to look at. It will help me get some context - although since the boys are always quick to make up with one another, it probably won't give context for long 😅 but at least it will be long enough for the Run episode! Thank you again as always for watching 💜💜💜

Jin watches and monitors jk mood cos jk doesn’t like losing and loses interesrpt quickly. Jin loves his members and has very high EQ.
Same thoughts when I watched this.
First let me put this here. THEIR INTERACTIONS ARE LIMITED BECAUSE OF THE AGENY (not gonna drop the name here). Totally agree. From them being in a VLove together 🙄 to interactions, subunit, pairing, formations, etc. 🙄
So here goes...
I'm a Jin stan, and in this episode, Jin was very unusual. Maybe he was tired, yes but you can tell the diff if you're stanning Jin for a long time. The body language.
Also, you didn't overanalyze 🥴 we're all the same!

The production team asked them what they want - JK wanted some pear/berry extract thingy, Tae and RM wanted wine, Jin wanted red ginger and JM wanted this thing which looks like a set of sauce.
I think JK purposely took the wine to spite/tease V. Then when V saw that JK took the wine, he took the red ginseng coz he knew JK would trade the wine for the red ginseng coz Jin wanted it.
Yes, it feels like JK took the wine because he knew everyone wanted it. But I really think V took the ginseng because he knew JK was willing to trade the wine for the ginseng for Jin 💜💜 Omg my Jinkook hearteu 🙈🙈

Had really enjoyed this Run episode and love your analysis, thank you! I hadn’t noticed those subtle interactions if you hadn’t mentioned of course. I wonder why JK hadn’t just taken the red ginseng right away to exchange for the beef... someone had suggested that he probably took the wine “out of revenge” for V singing the Wildflower with J(?) I had seen this clip much earlier and wanted to save it to Watch Later, but forgot and it disappeared from my feed until today. (ps Could you consider either using a solid-colour instead of patterned background or changing your outlined font to solid instead, please? It’s rather hard to read, especially since the screen changes quite fast and we need to read your captions plus the scripted text too. Pausing the screen dims the background at times... Maybe I’m astigmatic, but would appreciate if you could consider😊).

the only reason KOOK wanted to exchange the wine , was because of feeling guilty towards SEOKJIN , as his actions towards V - SEOKJIN became the target of his choice of teasing V. KOOK always act first and then regret the consequences of his actions. Not a good trait for someone who has to be dependable on his own. Don't you feel like JK reacts very little to whatever Jin says on the show? Jin on the other hand reacts freely to JK.
I actually saw it the other way around, but I can accept that maybe it's just how I see it. Besides, there are a lot of extraneous factors too so we can only rely on our instinct at this point 😅 I still love both of them no matter which one it is, though haha
