[ANALYSIS] 13/07/2016 Osaka V Live - Jin in JK’s bathroom?

- Hi everyone! After two weeks of working on this, I’ve finally completed my analysis on the infamous Osaka V Live streamed on 13 July 2016.
Shoutout again to all the viewers/subscribers who told me that they would like me to upload this, as it is really the only reason I decided to do it 💜
I'm absolutely terrified of disappointing viewers with my analysis, but I hope to get better the more I analyse so I hope you bear with me 🥺
※ SUMMARY ※
I briefly explain this in the video as well, but when I watch any analysis videos, I tend to find reasons to disprove everything that implicates a ship (especially my favourite - in this case, Jinkook/Kookjin).
I do this mainly because I want to be able to say with confidence that Jinkook/Kookjin did/said these specific things because of how they feel towards each other, and it’s easier to do that if I can see that no coincidence was involved.
Also, when I first started watching these videos (FMVs/compilations/analyses), I found that a lot of them don’t provide context for what’s happening in the video, because they show the most convenient parts of the video for what they are trying to prove (for their ship etc.). I only found this out when I also began watching the original clips/videos, and realised that those moments can actually be justified, and that it may not be purely be because these people can’t keep their hands off each other etc.
As an example, with this Osaka V Live, I’d watched analysis videos on it before watching the actual video, and by the end of it, I was 100% convinced that Jin was definitely hiding in the bathroom. However, after watching the original video, it dropped to 45%, because of all the other things I noticed (which I pointed out in the video).
For the same reason, I’ve structured my analysis videos (this one and the previous one for Run BTS Ep 136 & 137) to be sequential, and not in order of the points I wanted to make. In this video, I also tried not to cut anything, because I wanted you to see everything that happens, and if there are irrelevant parts, I just fast-forwarded them instead, so you still see the sequence of events.
Right now, I would say that I am about 70% convinced that Jin was hiding in the bathroom (therefore I can probably be persuaded to believe that nobody was in fact in the bathroom), but 100% certain that there is something between Jin and Jungkook 💜
I only wish their interactions now were as transparent as before, and they didn’t have to worry about being scrutinised by the public. Half of me is guilty because it’s probably because we read into everything they do, which is why they have to be careful, but at the same time, I cannot stop 😓

As I mentioned in the earlier video, I’ll get started on the previous Run BTS episodes soon, but it might take some time, so I may upload some other videos in the meantime. For my own interests and - potentially - against the interests of the pure Jinkookers who subscribed to my channel (😅), I may upload some VMIN content, as well as other BTS content, because I do love all my boys 💜

Thanks for sharing your take on this vlive and for sharing pts that were probably missed by some fans. Also th music playing in JKs room is "Body Electric", a sensual song. Just wanna share my thoughts as well coz aside from the pts you mentioned, the next day Jin and Jk,V had a vlive with Jimin and the latter was obviously teasing them abt the "shower". And of course the dining out of the rest of the members that night w/o Jinkook and the tweets that came with the photos stating Jin and Jk were sleeping.,..all these gave me a diff vibe abt Jinkook...that Osaka Vlive is an early revelation of them.
Indeed! I didn't analyse the 2nd video with all 4 of them in JM's room, but I'm vaguely aware of the hints VMIN were dropping regarding Jinkook 💜 They're such rascals 🤣 Thanks for watching!!
This just brought to mind that Eat Jin with JK when RM heard them screaming and came to check. Jin says “RM it’s not like that” when he caught them trying to close the door. I always thought that was a joke of some sort or like trying to allay RM’s thought process that they were trying to exclude him, because Jin then invited him to be part of the episode. But now…now I wonder whether RM inferred that they were doing something else together and that’s why Jin said it’s not like that…?
16:06 "I love you" is one of the songs jin covered, jk was talking about jin's song. I dont think that can be a punishment, it was more like some kinda apology :)))
I think frist door closes is bathroom door and second door closes is jk's room. I 'm certainly sure that someone
has in jk's room. If you carefully listen,
you can hear jin's voice from jk's room.

I think u missed some other facts in here. So i can point out😊
1. In the middle of this vlive,jk asked if the other members were singing before him and tae lied "yeah they all already did". Then JK suddenly ask tae"are you sure about it?" with a cunning smile on his face(seems like he knows tae lied maybe bcoz Jin was with him at that time😆)
2. Ok this one is from Jimin's vlive which streamed a day after this
At this vlive,all the 3J💜(Jk,Jin & Jimin) was streamed and they did not let tae in,because Jimin was angry with tae at that time. Tae kept ringing the door bell continuosly while staying outside the door. Jk felt sorry for tae and went to open the door. At this very moment,Jin stood up and move his hands towards his pocket while saying"oh i forget my room keys" like tae did a day before. And then suddenly both Jimin & Jin burst into laughter. Jin said "That's how V did yesterday". Seems like they both teased Tae(Tae didn't hear them) but this sudden act from Jin is quiet suspicious for some reasons
*They previously said that they don't usually watch other member's live streamings
(This keeps me thinking that Jin was actually there when tae tries to end his live and Jimin also know about this)
*The next thing is why did they imitate tae and burst into laughter while saying it?😑
In the middle of this vlive,i felt so sorry for tae🥺🥺bcoz they kept teasing & ignoring him(i think it's a revenge from Jimin)
Ok this is the most suspicious one i caught from the last part of Jimin's live
While they(Tae,Jk,Jin,Jimin) were eating, Tae left for a minute & Jimin said "you'd be sleeping together" to Jk and Jin. Jk suddenly freaked out😳(Jin didn't show any emotions & try to act normal) and after a awkward silence he asked Jimin "What?" with a nervous face.And then Jin quickly changed the topic by asking about spoons or something. Then again v came & everything became normal.
Extra:-At the same day of Tae's live, Hobi took a group picture of them(I'm sure it was the same day bcoz of Tae's red shirt in the photo) but Jk and Jin was not there🤷🏻♂️. Other members said they were both asleep. But as previously said, Jimin asked them if they had sleep together yesterday...
This all look suspicious to me and i have a thought that there's certainly somone hiding in JK's room at that time and many facts prove that it was Jin (Jikookers keep telling that it was Jimin but those are useless clues and difficult to accept)

I want to say that I am not a Jinkook shipper. I'm not shipping anyone(I loves the friendship between Tae and Jk the most but I'm not even shipping them as a love couple). I'm sure there was someone in the room and that is normal. But my question is why he was hiding from the camera? And why Jk was naked?
I agree with all your points, Jimin’s Eat Jin Vlive the next day confirmed everything that happened the night before for me, Osaka 2018 confirmed Jinkook 100% for me as I had been suspicious since day 2 of Bon Voyage Season 1 (JK’s 20th Birthday)
just saw this now. for what it's worth, I agree with your points especially the fact that Jin and JK were not with the group that night for dinner and Jimin seemingly teasing them in the following day's live.
Thanks a million for your amazing video. I think if you watch jimin’s vlive that happened the next day after this one, you can actually confirm your theory the best way possible. In his vlive where jin,jk and v were present, jimin asked them “so, now you two are sleeping together?!” As well as teasing them about the shower thing mentioned in tae’s vlive the day before. I think watching that video is a must for all who wanna analyze this one better.

just watched this. author should have included the following day live of Jimin where he was seemingly teasing Jin and JK. If am not mistaken, Jimin also mentioned about taking a shower and Jin and JK looked feeling awkward. And Tae during that night explicitly said he will be meeting with Jimin. I guess delulu shippers are just blinded by what they just want to believe in. For me, that facial expressions of JK and Tae when JK said I want to sing I love you to Jin was the final give-away. For Tkkers, I have not watched their made-up story but how can this even be a Tkk thing when Tae was obviously teasing JK almost the whole time.

Excellent points. I also agree JK did not respond to Tae’s GC question. *cough cough* he was somewhat busy 😉 so I think (huge assumption on my part) Tae asked the GC what is JK’s room number. He planned to go to JK’s room because Army asked to go to the next door not someone who wasn’t next door so my thought he planned to surprise JK. The guys know very well about Jin and JK likely sharing room so Tae being devious decided to freak JK out. Jimin prob. told him too. Those two are so evil 😆 If people don’t watch your entire analysis, they would dismiss your train of thought. There’s an excellent Jinkook analysis that amplified the voices and you can hear it clearly. Keep up the great work.

ok jinkook isnt even my otp but one of my fave ships :)) still let me tell u my theory since the day I watched this Vlive, at the end tae abruptly ended the vlive even tho he said he wants to go to jimin and do more, it was like there was some angry voices like the one who was in jk room exit the room angrily and there was some shocked (guilty) expressions on tae face like that person was angry at him. :)))) it still make more sense if it was jin :)
At 13:57 jk’s voice is superb! Like he just singing along but sound so angelic. Not even trying really hard to sound good. Okay officially fan of jungkook.

If I'm not wrong bts posted on their official twitter account thanking the fans saying they are having their meal right now. But in the photo, only 5 members were there, they captioned it saying Jin and Jungkook are not here cause they are too tired to join them or smt like that. It was posted on the same day as the vlive, Tae even wore the same clothes. This made me believe more that Jin was in fact with Jk, also I love you yt channel keep making amazing videos! fighting!

Your analysis is very careful, which is great but I think you are being overly cautious 😅 but nevertheless a good thing when it comes to proving something so fantastical as a K-pop idol ship being real lol
My opinion on the ending: Jk's room door closed after V walked out and because it was closed, that was why Jin thought V/the audio on the phone wouldn't capture his voice, and so he dared to raise his voice while speaking with Jungkook. Jungkook was also clearly heard saying 'why, why, why, hyung' so this already proved that someone was in his room with him. The second door closing is actually another room on the other side of the hotel corridor, possibly a staff (like the one monitoring V when he visited Jk's room) who was neither Jin or Jungkook. If you raise the volume, you can hear a man's voice (doesn't sound like either Jin or Jk) saying something, and the voice is quite clear like he was speaking with his room door open. Compare this to Jin and Jungkook's voices which were muffled, because Jk's door was closed already.
V's expression at the end also gives everything away. It seemed like he had no idea how much trouble he had caused until he heard the voices down the corridor, and almost looks frightened at the sound of the second door closing. I think the staff getting involved finally hit him on the head how serious the situation was and that he may have accidentally just exposed his teammates' secret rendezvous...
wow...me also so speechless heard jk said why to someone in the room..

Just want to ask and share: 1. Where is the mirror? Is it in the bathroom or on the door? I can't see a mirror on the door. 2. I have a practice room at the office with mirrors all over one of the walls. Light from the room lamps is not reflected strong enough to make the light path on the floor (let alone a path of light in the hallway - if the mirror is in the bathroom) 3. Doors in my office close by itself, but it sort of work in two steps. When the door is opened wide enough for a person to enter (the way Tae opened the door), at first, it will move to close quite fast. But, at the last 35 or 45 degrees (or so), it will close very slowly. The heavier the door, the slower it closes. I think it is to prevents a loud bang. 4. To get to the elevator, Tae made two right turns and turned his body around 90 degrees clockwise to face the elevator door. The elevator must be in the same row as JK's room (but facing 90 degrees clockwise from JK's door). So, yes, JK's room is on Tae's right (the same direction he came from) when he was in front of the elevator. (I think). Just my observation.

I watch this video in another Jinkook channel. The author tuned up the volume and you can really hear Jin’s voice. He was angry. The conversation goes like this:
Jk: Why, hyung? Why?
J: Why is the door open?
The author concludes that it was likely because the main door did not close properly when V left JK’s room. The vlive by JM on the following day kinda confirmed everything. IMO, J was in JK’s room. Of coz, I’m not alluding to anything. Good friends can share room too. But my Jinkook heart feels that there is something more.
Indeed, my Jinkook heart refuses to accept that there wasn't anything more. It just wants to scream to the world that it's true 😅😅 The V Live with JM on the 2nd day was full of hints about Jinkook the previous day too, which makes it all the more plausible 💜

for the 19:49 part of the video, what happens is you can hear someone from another room moan “Oppa” “I like it” (neomu chowa), and immediately after you hear another door open (probably of staff member) and they say “Stop” (geumanhae) so that V ends the live. Under his breath V says “yes” and then ends the live.

No wonder you said you need time to analyze this v live. You paid attention to every detail and analyzed that with your point of view.
I think it's refreshing to see different opinions regarding this v live.
IMO, this whole v live itself has many vague moments, which opened various ways of interpretation.
Which is okay.
At the end of the day, every analysis was based on one's perspective, and not everyone has the same take on the same subject.

Just when Taehyung wanted to message JK that he was going to his room, he saw a message from Jimin who told him Kookie's room number, so JK didn't know about Taehyung's arrival and was surprised because he thought Jimin was knocking on the door and said "Jimin".
Someone sends a message to v and he laughs after reading it, then he tells kookie that Jin-hyung is taking a bath and looks at the bathroom, JK also looks at the bathroom and then leaves.
after seeing your analysis, I guess that Jin was hiding in the bathroom. And texted Taehyung's phone to leave so that they don't get exposed
Taehyung seemed to be shocked after reading the message that Jin sent to him and his mood changed he left the place with the excuse of going to Jimin's room

It’s not possible to hear Jin and jk voice near to Tae room. That’s not a good point. Only good point is JK weird look when V mentioned Jin is bathing. That also maybe because of two reasons. One reason is Jin is inside.
Right?? I couldn't hear their voices clearly either. If I crank the volume up, I can maybe hear JK's voice, but the other voice just sounded angry, and I can't really tell who it was 😅😅

Who the last voices were coming
I couldn't tell. One of the voices sounds like JK. The other just sounds angry, but there have been instances when I couldn't tell the members' angry voices apart, so I can't be sure :(

Actually I don’t understand why they had to hide (if someone was in JK’s bathroom). Don’t they hang out in each other’s rooms all the time?
Maybe because JK was naked and they just panicked. Even if all members are aware of any relationship going on or they hang out naked regularly, I think being caught in the moment tends to just make you panic and do first thing that comes to mind: hide all evidence! JK wasn’t expecting V and / or wasn’t expecting V to be broadcasting live, and they obviously wouldn’t want any hint or evidence of Jinkook to be put out there for direct speculation (ie. hey, why was Jin hanging out in JK’s room when he was naked?)

Well like I want to point this out.. I genuinely believe it's jimin because we literally have no proof that tae was chatting with jimin at that time and also after tae left the room we can literally hear jimin and jk shouting like lol u didn't include that. Secondly the next day during their live (yes they did have another live) jimin was literally ignoring tae the whole live.. (at 9.10 do check it out if u have time) he wasn't even allowing him to come inside.. it was like as if he was angry with tae for coming even to he knew it they were together.. sorry but yea again I must say u were actually really good with the seeing all those small details and all. People have different opinions and I do respect that.. it's upto ppl to believe what they want.. other than that u did a pretty good job! Well done 👌

I really don’t understand why some ppl are creating issues about BTS members being gays or having some romantic relationships. Like wtf? They’re too close to each other like brothers. I'm late to the party and not a jinkook shipper but I've watched a bunch of the analysis on the various possibilities of who would ve in the bathroom. My theory, Tae was blissfully unaware that anyone would be in JKs room. My best guess especially from the speed that he received the answer to his text was that he was messaging a staff member. If Jin was actually in the tub and if JK was unprepared to have V over, neither would likely not dropped the room number info immediately. Likewise I don't think any othe the other members would have immediately from memory known JKs room either. It's more likely JK was quietly vibing and chilling not immediately responding to inquiries to his room number. There's no way he would be so "scared" at taes arrival, demanding who's there when it would obviously be Tae if that's the case. Knowing Tae, I think he thought it would be fun to suprise him, a little mischievous. The voices heard in the room are the only thing that I really can't argue. There is someone there, the bed wasn't a mess so it probably wasn't too heated but there is very likely someone in the bathroom not making a peep. I believe that person was Jimin. The rest of the live is awkward. The way V seems to still somehow be unaware of what's going on, or at the very least pretending for army's sake because if he quickly cut the video or showed any sign of knowing something was off it would just make people more suspicious. I think when he realized something was going on, he tried to play it cool giving army what they wanted, and jk did the same. The glances and anxious ramblings about eating and glancing towards the door were just slip ups of Jungkook being nervous and trying to get through the meet up as efficently as he could manage while being flustered. Probably knowing Jimin was steadily getting more and more pissed as he waited in the bathroom for Tae to get out. This is why I think on the next live Jimin was so salty towards him. He made up the excuse of Tae not wanting to do the satoori lesson because in reality he was annoyed that V came over unannounced and shit on their private time. Jin seems aware of the situation too, especially at the "I forgot my room key" inside joke. Jk seems to be careful because Jimin actually seems pissed and he probably didn't want to get on his bad side while he was still annoyed with Tae. I think Tae inserted himself into the live because he was equally annoyed that Jimin was trying to exclude him and was perhaps feeling a little jealous. So I think he played dumb, again a lot going in behind their words and actions. It's hard to say for sure but sooooo much feels off about the two lives that there really has to be more to the story.
I watched the vlive. The person in the bathroom was not jimin. When Jin texted v. He said he was in the bathroom 😂I feel jin was trying to tell v to end the vlive and leave the room. When v told jk that Jin was in the bathroom jk looked scared. When v left the room he said he was going to see jimin next. So jimin was not the person in the bathroom

sorry but 19:49 sounds too quick to be the pronunciation of Jungkook-ahh, on the original video on youtube, many people translated what they heard at 19:49 which was “Oppa” and then “I like it” (Neomu chowa), which I agree with seeing as I did not hear the syllables or enunciation of “Jiminssi”
have an edited video with the sound turned up as loud as possible. and I can't hear what you say at all. even in paragraph V goes to Jk's room door and tells Jk to open the door. Jk said "Jin". don't understand how the jikooker can hear out jk calling Jim??? and the voice at the end of the video when V has gone out and looks back towards Jk's room, it's obviously Jin's voice whenever Jin speaks loudly and raises his voice. Don't try to go in the wrong direction and make up sounds that don't exist

well first of all hi! I would really advice you to do a bit of research before commenting anything because I feel that this comment indirectly places jin in a bad light (if you know what I mean). But anyways coming back to your concern, you are right about south korea’s age of consent being 20 BUT you need to understand that korean age and international ages are different. Jungkook in 2016 was 20 in Korean age (and 18 in international age). Now as a citizen of korea, jungkook follows korean age and hence in 2016, he was officially considered as an adult in korea (you can watch his coming of age ceremony which was shot in 2016). I kinda do understand your concern tho.
ps: to make points clearer, all of us consider jungkook’s age to be 25 rn but again that’s his international age, he is considered as a 27 year old in korea! (ik it’s hard to believe lol but it is what it is)
